Abstract

The development of the internet has brought about changes in the implementation of company marketing strategies. This aligns with the increasing interest in Umrah and Hajj in Indonesia. This research aims to understand how PT implements the digital marketing strategy. DEWANGGA TRAVINDO (Umrah and Hajj Agency). This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The research follows a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the Umrah and Hajj Agency applies digital marketing steps as outlined by Thomas Joseph, encompassing the integration of critical elements of digital marketing such as content, SEO, social media, community web, mobile apps, search engines, and the effective utilization of CRM systems. Abstract

Indonesia sedang mengalami pandemi virus Covid-19. Dimana masyarakat diharuskan menjaga jarak antar individu dan menghindari kerumunan. Di masa pandemi, masyarakat lebih memilih untuk berbelanja secara online. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi serta kemudahan dalam berbelanja secara online juga meningkatkan minat masyarakat. Kebutuhan pasar berubah seiring dengan perubahan gaya hidup sehingga perusahaan mulai mengubah sistem penjualan dan promosi secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi pemasaran Retail ACE Hardware Lampung dalam mempromosikan penjualan online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian adalah supervisor¸ karyawan, dan beberapa konsumen Retail ACE Hardware Lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi pemasaran Retail ACE Hardware Lampung dalam mempromosikan penjualan online dilaksanakan dengan cara memaksimalkan sumber daya manusia, membuat aplikasi, serta menjalin kerjasama dengan stakeholder. Strategi komunikasi pemasaran juga dilakukan dengan memperhatikan berbagai aspek, mulai dari aspek informasi produk, layanan, pembelian, advertising (periklanan), maupun sponshorship.

Abstract

Komunikasi yang sukses tidak terlepas dari keterlibatan pimpinan yang tegas dalam kegiatan sehari-hari dalam memimpin sebuah perusahaan. Pemimpin yang efektif pada umumnya memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan komunikasi yang efektif, sehingga mampu membangkitkan partisipasi orang-orang yang dipimpinnya. Tingkat pendidikan yang beragam terkadang menyebabkan karyawan tidak memiliki kemampuan yang maksimal dalam penggunaan teknologi digital secara baik, sehingga menimbulkan berbagai kendala baik di lingkungan internal maupun eksternal pada BRI Cabang Teluk Betung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan BRI Cabang Teluk Betung khususnya pada pegawai mikro adalah mengarah pada konsep The Equalitarian Style, dimana penyebaran pesan-pesan verbal baik secara lisan maupun tulisan terjadi secara dua arah (two-way-traffic of communication). Selanjutnya dalam hal pengembangan SDM, pimpinan melakukan komunikasi secara persuasif dengan cara memberikan motivasi dan pengarahan kepada pegawai untuk dapat mengikuti job opening sesuai dengan kompetensi pegawai. Komunikasi yang dilakukan pimpinan BRI adalah dengan cara berkomunikasi secara langsung dan dua arah kepada pegawai. Pimpinan memberikan motivasi agar pekerja tidak merasa terbebani dengan tugas yang diberikan oleh pimpinan, sehingga pegawai mau meningkatkan dan mengembangkan karirnya.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki kekayaan budaya yang beragam, namun globalisasi dan modernisasi menyebabkan penurunan minat generasi muda dalam melestarikan tradisi lokal. Salah satu tradisi yang mengalami tantangan dalam pelestariannya adalah Sambayan Bujang Gadis di Pekon Waykerap, Kabupaten Tanggamus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi remaja dalam pelestarian budaya melalui acara Sambayan Bujang Gadis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi remaja dalam acara ini terdiri dari komunikasi antar generasi, komunikasi sebaya, dan komunikasi digital. Komunikasi antar generasi berperan dalam transfer nilai budaya, komunikasi sebaya memperkuat keterlibatan sosial, sedangkan komunikasi digital menjadi sarana modern dalam mempromosikan dan mempertahankan eksistensi budaya. Dengan memahami pola komunikasi ini, strategi pelestarian budaya dapat lebih efektif diterapkan.

Abstract

PT Lion Superindo merupakan perusahan yang bergerak di bidang retail, yang merupakan kebutuhan pokok masyarakat, PT Lion Superindo tersebar di seluruh Indonesia, terdapat 4 gerai Superindo di Provinsi Lampung dan salah satunya yang akan peneliti teliti adalah pada Superindo KMG ( Kemiling ), yang beralamat pada di Jalan Beringin Raya, Kecamatan Kemiling, Kota Bandar Lampung, Provinsi Lampung 35155, Pemahaman masyarakat terhadap kesegaran produk seperti sayur, buah, daging dan lain lain, hal ini berdampak pada citra perusahaan dan hambatan bagi pencapaian tujuan perusahaan karena itu Humas PT. Lion Superindo menggunakan tagline sebagai metode semiotika kepada pelanggan bahwa produk fresh superindo adalah produk yang segar / fresh dengan tagline “Superindo super segar”. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan karna peneliti tertarik dalam waktu 2 tahun setelah gerai pertama berdiri di Provinsi Lampung, Superindo telah berkembang cukup baik dengan mendirikan 2 gerai baru dibandingkan dengan kompetitor Superindo lainnya seperti Lotte Mart, Indogrosir dan Super Market Lainnya. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dan wawancara, kemudian data tersebut di analisis dengan menggabungkan 2 teori yaitu teori semiotika roland barthez Signifier (Penanda), Signified (Petanda), Denotative Sign (Tanda Denotatif ), Conotative Signifier (Penanda Konotatif), Conotative Signified (Petanda Konotatif) Conotative Sign (Tanda Konotatif), dengan teori meningkatkan citra Frank Jefkins Citra eksklusif, Citra inovatif, Citra murah meriah, keduanya sangat relevan dengan penggunaan tagline sebagai semiotika untuk membangun citra perusahaan yang eksklusif, inovatif, dan murah meriah, yang dilakukan oleh PT. Lion Superindo.

Abstract

ABSTRAC Waste generation continues to increase rapidly along with population growth and changes in people's diets and lifestyles, thus affecting the amount of waste produced, the type of waste and the characteristics of different waste. One of them to minimize the impact of increasingly accumulated waste can be done through inviting the community to participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment through persuasive communication strategies to the community. The purpose of this study was to find out the persuasive communication strategy of the Environmental Office in waste management, a study in Kampung Baru Tiga Kelurahan Panjang Utara. This research uses qualitative methods. Data were collected obtained from interviews, observations and field notes. The result of this study is that Waste Management has not been carried out properly due to low public awareness and concern about proper waste management. To increase public awareness and public concern for the environment and waste management, the Environmental Office and Village Apparatus have conducted education to the community in the form of socialization, counseling, and advertisements about waste management to be useful including compost and ecobricks. Handling waste problems needs to increase public awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness by the Environmental Agency as the main agency responsible for waste management must establish good relations with the community so that the waste management program is in accordance with its goals.

Abstract

This study analyzes communication messages in the film Siksa Kubur (Joko Anwar, 2024) using John Fiske’s semiotic framework, which divides texts into three levels of codes: reality, representation, and ideology. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were obtained through intensive observation of the film, documentation of key scenes, and literature review from scholarly works and critics’ reviews. The findings reveal the complexity of the relationship between religion, trauma, and power as represented in the film. At the reality level, the suicide bomber, pesantren power relations, and Sita’s transformation are portrayed through physical details, behaviors, and expressions. At the representation level, cinematic techniques such as camera, lighting, sound, and editing reinforce the horror atmosphere and highlight unequal social relations. At the ideological level, the film exposes the manipulation of religion as a justification for violence, the normalization of sexual abuse, and personal trauma leading to a crisis of faith. This study concludes that Siksa Kubur is not merely a horror entertainment but also a social critique and religious reflection on how religion can operate both as an instrument of control and a source of trauma.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Instagram, has become an essential platform for local brands to build interaction and strengthen brand awareness. However, a period of digital inactivity presents significant challenges in maintaining audience relationships. This study aims to describe the persuasive communication strategies implemented by Rumah Masker in restoring brand awareness after being inactive on Instagram. The research employed a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, content observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that Rumah Masker’s persuasive communication strategies were carried out through consistent visual content and storytelling, active interaction with audiences, collaborations with influencers, and structured content planning. These strategies proved effective in increasing engagement, enhancing message credibility, and rebuilding consumer trust. The study concludes that persuasive communication serves not only as a promotional tool but also as a recovery strategy to maintain brand existence in the competitive local beauty market.

Abstract

The media plays an essential role in shaping public opinion on complex global issues, including Palestine’s efforts to obtain full membership in the United Nations (UN). CNNIndonesia.com, as one of Indonesia’s national news portals, reported on this matter through several articles published between April 18 and May 18, 2024. This study aims to analyze CNNIndonesia.com’s framing of news coverage regarding Palestine’s UN membership status using Robert N. Entman’s framing analysis model. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with text analysis of three CNNIndonesia.com news articles. The findings reveal that CNNIndonesia.com’s framing highlights formal diplomacy and the dominance of major power narratives, while direct representation from Palestine is relatively limited. The coverage also relies more on external sources and international actors than on Palestinian voices or supporting organizations, thereby creating a narrative that is not fully balanced. In addition, Indonesia’s foreign policy context provides a background to how the Palestinian issue is constructed by the media. The conclusion of this study is that CNNIndonesia.com’s framing tends to emphasize political and diplomatic aspects, which consequently limits the public’s ability to fully understand the substance of Palestine’s UN membership, while also underscoring the importance of media literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the communication strategies of traditional leaders in preserving the Butabuh tradition among the Lampung Saibatin community in Pekon Banjar Agung, Limau District, Tanggamus Regency. The framework positions traditional leaders as the initiators of cultural transmission, linking traditional values with younger generations through communication strategies. This research employed a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and field documentation, with source triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that traditional leaders communicate cultural values through oral advice, storytelling, and by involving youth in rebana practice and traditional ceremonies. These strategies help sustain cultural continuity, although youth participation remains low due to the influence of popular culture, feelings of shyness, and lack of understanding. Preservation efforts include increasing youth engagement, utilizing social media for cultural education, and fostering collaboration between traditional leaders, the community, and local government to maintain the relevance of  Butabuh .
