Abstract

Effective supervision by a sub-district head is an important element in improving and maintaining the quality of public services at the regional level. This research explores the important role played by a sub-district head in the context of supervision, focusing on their efforts in ensuring the implementation of government policies, and shows that the sub-district head's supervisory role is not only limited to routine monitoring, but also involves coordination with various parties, policy advocacy, and proactive approach to problems as they arise. Conflict management is an important aspect in maintaining social stability at the local and national level. Conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in people's lives. including in Pekon Kresnomulyo. Conflict management is important to ensure security, order and justice at the local level. One of the key figures in handling conflict is the sub-district head, who has an important role in monitoring and resolving conflicts in Pekon Kresnomulyo. This study aims to dig deeper into the role of Carnat supervision in handling conflicts in the region. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participant observation. The research results tell that the sub-district head has a significant role in monitoring, identifying and resolving conflicts that arise in Pekon Kresnomulyo. This role includes monitoring the social dynamics of society, facilitating dialogue between parties involved in the conflict, as well as collaborating with various related agencies to achieve a just and sustainable solution. However, challenges such as limited resources and the complexity of conflict often become obstacles in implementing the sub-district head's role. Therefore, synergy is needed between the sub-district head, the community and other related parties to increase the effectiveness of conflict handling in Pekon Kresnomulyo

Abstract

ABSTRAKImplementasi good governance dalam kinerja Aparatur Pekon di Pekon Gunung Raya pada pelaksanaan Program Keluarga Harapan belum sepenuhnya berjalan efektif, terutama mengenai pendataan penerima manfaat yang belum tepat sasaran untuk masyarakat miskin, dan kurang maksimal serta tanggung jawab aparatur dalam bekerja masih rendah.                 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi good governance dalam kinerja aparatur pada pelaksanaan Program Keluarga Harapan di Pekon Gunung Raya Kecamatan Pagelaran Utara Kabupaten Pringsewu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif sebagai analisis data.dengan 7 informan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Good Governance Dalam Kinerja Aparatur Pekon Pada Pelaksanaan Program Keluarga Harapan di Pekon Gunung Raya Kecamatan Pagelaran Utara Kabupaten Pringsewu sudah berjalan dengan baik namun belum sepenuhnya berjalan efektif. Hal ini dilihat dari lima indikator good governance yang digunakan antara lain akuntabilitas, transparansi, partisipasi masyarakat, kesetaraan/kesamaan hak, efektif&efisien, serta tiga pengukuran kinerja, yaitu kualitas, kuantitas, dan ketepatan waktu. Hambatan Implementasi Good Governance dalam Kinerja aparatur pekon pada Pelaksanaan Program Keluarga Harapan di Pekon Gunung Raya Kecamatan Pagelaran Utara Kabupaten Pringsewu ialah kurangnya pemahaman aparatur pekon pada prosedur PKH, serta tidak memperbaharui data penerima PKH sehingga masih menggunakan data yang lama. Kata Kunci: Implementasi Good Governance, Kinerja, Program Keluarga Harapan

Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of nonverbal communication in effectively conveying messages, particularly in the context of the GenRe Ambassador selection event. The study aims to investigate how participants' nonverbal communication can influence their success in the competition and its impact on the audience, especially Instagram users. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study involving data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation to understand participants' experiences and perceptions related to nonverbal communication. The research subjects are participants and committee members involved in the GenRe Ambassador selection in Bandarlampung. The results of the study indicate that body language, facial expressions, and vocal intonation play a crucial role in participants' success in engaging the audience and delivering messages. Challenges in interpreting nonverbal cues and managing content on social media platforms are also highlighted. Understanding and leveraging nonverbal communication are crucial for participants to excel in the GenRe Ambassador selection process and effectively disseminate educational messages on social media.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 7 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Online Population Administration in Bumi Waras District. This research also aims to explain problems that arise in its implementation, as well as provide recommendations for improvements that can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of population services.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews and observations with users of population administration services, both through applications and websites. Secondary data was obtained through literature study and document study related to Permendagri guidelines and other related policies. The data analysis method involves data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification.The research results show that the implementation of ImplementasiKependudukan Digital (IKD)  in Bumi Waras District is carried out through the "Digital Population Identity" application which allows online registration and verification. This online service involves the use of the Population Administration application and website in accordance with the guidelines of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 7 of 2019. Even though there are several challenges, such as public awareness and investment in cyber security, the implementation ofIdentitasKependudukan Digital (IKD) has had a positive impact in the form of increasing efficiency, speed and accessibility of population services.

Abstract

Empowering women in developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises through MSMEs is an important focus, especially in the context of the women's community in Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung. Tanjung Bintang District is the focus of the study which shows the crucial role of the women's community in mobilizing MSMEs as a key element in supporting MSME development. This research aims to document, analyze and understand the role of the Tanjung Bintang District women's community in developing MSMEs. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Information was obtained from the South Lampung Regency Cooperative and MSME Service, District Government Apparatus, Women's Community Administrators, MSME actors in Jati Baru Village, Jati Indah, Srikaton. The research results show that the Tanjung Bintang District women's community has a central role in the development of MSMEs. They are active in empowering village women, developing cooperation, and ensuring the sustainability of micro-enterprises. Empowering women in MSMEs has a positive impact on the economic and social improvement of village communities

Abstract

Bullying merupakan masalah serius yang berdampak negatif pada perkembangan psikologis dan sosial anak-anak serta remaja. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman tentang bullying di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar melalui kegiatan sosialisasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penyampaian informasi mengenai jenis-jenis bullying, dampak yang ditimbulkan, serta strategi pencegahan dan penanganan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Gisting Bawah dengan peserta siswa kelas 5 dan 6. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang bullying dan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan suportif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memotivasi peserta untuk lebih aktif mencegah dan melaporkan tindakan bullying. Program ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi kejadian bullying di sekolah dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih kondusif bagi perkembangan anak-anak.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Single Tuition Fee Policy at the University of Lampung aims to establish a fair and equitable education financing system through the principles of cross-subsidization and tiered tuition fees based on students' economic capabilities. This study employs a qualitative approach to explore the impact of the Single Tuition Fee Policy on student welfare. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies involving students, practitioners, and relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the Single Tuition Fee Policy has had a positive impact on access to higher education for students from diverse economic backgrounds, particularly by alleviating the financial burden for students from underprivileged families. However, the lack of clarity in determining the Single Tuition Fee mechanism and limited information about the appeal procedures have led to dissatisfaction among students. Another challenge identified is the inaccuracy of economic data validation, resulting in misplacement of students in inappropriate tuition fee groups. This study recommends improving policy communication systems, implementing stricter data validation, and enhancing non-financial welfare support, such as counseling services and an inclusive social environment. These measures are expected to make the Single Tuition Fee Policy a more effective instrument in holistically supporting student welfare, both in terms of access to education and socio-economic aspects. Keyword: Policy, Tuition Fees, Welfare, Students ABSTRAK Kebijakan Uang Kuliah Tunggal di Universitas Lampung bertujuan menciptakan sistem pembiayaan pendidikan yang adil dan merata melalui prinsip subsidi silang dan pengelompokan tarif berdasarkan kemampuan ekonomi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi dampak kebijakan Uang Kuliah Tunggal terhadap kesejahteraan mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, melibatkan mahasiswa, praktisi, dan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan Uang Kuliah Tunggal telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap aksesibilitas pendidikan tinggi bagi mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang ekonomi, terutama dalam meringankan beban finansial mahasiswa dari keluarga kurang mampu. Namun, ketidakjelasan mekanisme penentuan Uang Kuliah Tunggal dan kurangnya informasi mengenai prosedur banding menimbulkan ketidakpuasan di kalangan mahasiswa. Tantangan lain yang ditemukan adalah validasi data ekonomi yang kurang akurat, yang berdampak pada penempatan kelompok Uang Kuliah Tunggal yang tidak sesuai. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perbaikan sistem komunikasi kebijakan, validasi data yang lebih ketat, dan peningkatan dukungan kesejahteraan non-finansial, seperti layanan konseling dan lingkungan sosial inklusif. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, kebijakan Uang Kuliah Tunggal diharapkan mampu menjadi instrumen yang lebih efektif dalam mendukung kesejahteraan mahasiswa secara menyeluruh, baik dari segi akses pendidikan maupun aspek sosial-ekonomi. Abstract

The village government has the main obligation to carry out physical development in order to improve the welfare of the village community. The role of the village head as a leader greatly determines the success of development, especially in creating equity and encouraging community participation. This study aims to analyze the leadership style of the Head of Durian Village, Padang Cermin District, Pesawaran Regency, in improving the physical development of the village in 2021. The research used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews with nine informants consisting of village officials and communities. The results of the study show that the leadership style applied tends to be participatory, shown by the involvement of the community in village development planning deliberations (Musrenbang) and direct communication between village heads and residents. However, the application of this participatory style is not optimal because there is still a development gap between hamlets, especially between the more advanced Tegal Arum Hamlet and the underdeveloped Pakuan Hamlet. Low levels of awareness, differences in education and economic conditions, and the apathy of the community are also obstacles to participation. The conclusion of this study confirms that although participatory leadership has been sought, its effectiveness is still limited and has not been able to evenly distribute development as a whole. The implication of these findings is the need for a more adaptive, communicative, and inclusive leadership strategy so that community participation can increase and village development can run more evenly and sustainably.

Abstract

Radio as one of the audio mass media , radio ever has become a superior event whose strength is really taken into account . along with development technology communication radio start state dimmed and replaced by audio visual media, however until moment it's still radio still exists and airs one of them namely Radio El John 89.7 FM Baturaja . This radio has a superior program namely tourism, business, investment. Study This use approach qualitative descriptive For describe communication strategies marketing El John Radio 89.7 FM through featured programs in effort maintain radio listeners. Results study show that this radio use communication strategies marketing used with more utilise social media channels in effort reach listener from circles millennials and their results significant ie happen enhancement listener to radio's flagship programs
