Abstract

The adoption of digital platforms by MSMEs in Indonesia is still very low. This can be due to the lack of capacity of MSMEs to adapt to digital technology. There are three main problems related to the capacity of MSMEs in dealing with digital platforms, namely financial resources, business operations, and business expansion. The purpose of the research is to analyze the digital platform model that can develop the capacity of MSMEs as business entities, especially related to financial resources, business operations, and business expansion. The research method used is netnography by presenting a new approach to conducting ethical and thorough ethnographic research that combines archival data and online communication, participation and observation, with digital data collection and networks. Informants in this study consisted of digital platform service providers, users, and regulators. There were fourteen informants involved in this study spread across two provinces, namely the Special Capital Region of Jakarta and Banten. Analysis of the data used is conceptually clustered matrices (matrices grouped conceptually) which are arranged to unite the main roles, research subtopics, concepts or themes together for documentation. The results of the study indicate that MSME capacity development in the adoption of digital platforms in terms of financial resources includes access to capital, preparation of financial reports and the use of accounting application platforms. In terms of business operations, it includes Human Resources management, payment systems and logistics management. As for business expansion, it includes digital marketing and online markets.

Abstract

The city of Bandung as a leading tourist destination and supported by the image of Bandung City as a culinary center in West Java is the main focus. Currently, it can be seen that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has decreased in terms of sales in the food and beverage industry. During the Covid-19 pandemic, there were still food products that did not have halal certificates on a national scale, apparently it did not discourage consumers, especially those who were Muslim, from buying these products/types of food. This study aims to determine the extent to which halal certificates, halal awareness and food composition affect consumer buying interest. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method involving 300 respondents. The results of the study show that the three variables of halal certificates, halal awareness and food composition have an influence on consumer buying interest.

Abstract

This research delves into the critical role of leadership in stimulating employee creativity within organizations, focusing on the contrasting impacts of transactional and transformational leadership styles. Employing a quantitative approach, data was gathered through the distribution of questionnaires, with a sample size of 300 respondents. Utilizing SmartPLS for analysis, findings revealed that transactional leadership holds a stronger influence compared to transformational leadership on employee creativity. Through the validation of formulated hypotheses, it was concluded that both leadership styles significantly affect employee creativity. By combining the visionary inspiration characteristic of transformational leadership with the structured support inherent in transactional leadership, organizations can cultivate a balanced leadership ethos conducive to fostering employee creativity. Such a culture not only nurtures innovation but also enhances organizational competitiveness over the long term, positioning them for sustained growth and success in dynamic market landscapes

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to increase the capacity of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) processing as a culinary souvenir in Cibiru Wetan Village. Given the favorable geographical conditions and the local community's interest in food innovation, this village has excellent potential in developing sorghum-based products. This activity involves training and mentoring the community, especially mothers and teenagers, on sorghum processing techniques for food products with high selling value. In addition, this activity also focuses on developing marketing strategies and improving product quality through diversification and packaging innovation. Provisional findings show that sorghum has significant economic potential, but the community still needs to improve in processing knowledge and the technology used. Through collaboration with partners, this program succeeded in providing training, more modern processing tools, and broader market access. Thus, it is hoped that Cibiru Wetan Village can become a production center for sorghum-based products that can improve the welfare of the local community. Challenges faced include limited infrastructure and technology adaptation by the community.
