Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years through meronce activities using loose parts at the Kindergarten in Keledang, Samarinda. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research is research carried out in the classroom using actions to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in order to obtain better results. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this Classroom Action Research will use qualitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects were students aged 5-6 years at Keledang Kindergarten, Loa Janan Ilir District, Samarinda. To obtain valid results, research techniques are carried out using two cycle steps, and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the research results, it turns out that activities to improve children's fine motor skills through loose part activities in Keledang Saminda Kindergarten appeared to have increased in the good category in cycle I reaching 61%, while in cycle II it was 83%. The meronce activity using loose parts in group B at the Keledang Kindergarten, Loa Janan Ilir District, Samarinda, is very beneficial for students, so it can be used as a method of playing and learning to improve children's fine motor skills

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between self-control and media multitasking among K-Pop fans in Makassar. The research involved 467 participants aged 18–25 years, employing the Media Use Questionnaire (MUQ) to assess multitasking behaviors and a self-control scale based on Tangney's theoretical framework. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation revealed a weak yet significant positive relationship (r = 0.124, p < 0.05), indicating that higher self-control correlates with increased multitasking. This phenomenon reflects the integration of digital media into daily routines, where media multitasking becomes a habitual activity influenced by technological advancements and social contexts. Findings highlight that self-control plays a role in managing digital consumption, aligning with prior studies linking low self-control to problematic media usage. The study underscores the implications of multitasking behaviors on cognitive and emotional well-being, emphasizing the need for strategies to foster balanced digital media engagement. These results contribute to understanding digital media habits within the context of K-Pop fandom, offering insights for psychological and cultural studies on media behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi konsumen terhadap varian rasa dan inovasi produk keripik tempe abi di pasar lokal. Sebagai salah satu produk makanan khas yang berpotensi berkembang, pemahaman tentang kesukaan konsumen terhadap berbagai rasa serta inovasi yang ada menjadi hal yang penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Data yang dikumpulkan akan dianalisis untuk menggali faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian, tingkat kepuasan terhadap varian rasa yang ada, dan minat terhadap inovasi produk. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas mengenai preferensi konsumen, serta memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk pengembangan keripik tempe abi yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan selera pasar local.

Abstract

This paper explores the interrelation between leadership and curriculum management in the educational context. Leadership, particularly by school principals, plays a vital role in directing and managing the effective implementation of the curriculum. Meanwhile, curriculum management is a systematic process that includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of learning content to align with student needs and current societal demands. The success of curriculum management is strongly influenced by the leadership style and model applied. Visionary and transformational leadership has been proven to foster innovation in curriculum design and execution. Through a descriptive-qualitative approach and literature review, this paper concludes that the synergy between effective leadership and organized curriculum management is a key factor in improving educational quality in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of YouTube-based jigsaw learning in improving student learning outcomes in basic statistics concepts at SMPN 2 Duampanu. Using a quasi-experimental research method with a quasi-experimental design, the study was conducted in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The results showed a significant increase in scores, with the average pretest score from 52.32 to 74.72 on the posttest, and the average pretest score from 29.40 to 46.04 on the posttest. After implementing YouTube-based jigsaw learning, the learning effectiveness increased by 16.64 points. Statistical analysis using a t-test yielded a t-value of 18.624 for the experiment and 13.396 for the control, > t-table 2.064 (α=0.05), indicating a significant difference in the implementation of YouTube-based jigsaw learning. This proves that YouTube-based jigsaw learning is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
