Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe scientific writing webinar activities in an effort to increase public understanding of writing skills. Methodology/approach: The method used is an online field study via Zoom on September 9, 2023, with a participatory model in which scientific writing webinar activities include three important stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Results/findings: The results showed that the scientific writing webinar activities included a planning stage that had implications for making flyers that had to be disseminated en masse, followed by the webinar implementation stage, which consisted of opening, core activities, questions and answers, and closing, and finally the evaluation stage, which was in the form of feedback from participants to determine the level of understanding of the material and satisfaction with the webinar activities. Limitations: The limitation of this research is that only 64 people participated in the full writing webinar, and it is hoped that further research can study more participants than that, so that it is clear, detailed, and reinforces what has been produced. Contribution: This resulted in the acquisition of a percentage of material understanding level of 71.7% and the level of satisfaction of participants with the organization of the webinar was very satisfied and satisfied by 81.1%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran adalah sesuatu yang dilakukan oleh pembelajar, bukan sesuatu yang diberlakukan kepada pembelajar sebagai faktor kunci. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi teori belajar konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, dilaksanakan pada salah satu Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi teori belajar konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam pada Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Pekanbaru telah berjalan dengan baik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran sudah relevan dengan paradigma dan prinsip-prinsip teori belajar konstruktivisme. Implementasi teori belajar konstruktivisme dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan sejumlah implikasi positif, yaitu mendorong peserta didik untuk berpartisipasi aktif, meningkatkan pemikiran yang kritis, mengembangkan keterampilan dalam pengambilan keputusan, memberikan kesempatan dalam merancang pembelajaran, meningkatkan pemahaman, dan memfasilitasi keterampilan kolaborasi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkaya wawasan tentang implementasi teori belajar konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam, serta menawarkan rekomendasi praktis untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Madrasah Aliyah

Abstract

Amal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu rumah tangga Desa Krueng Tunong dalam produksi dan pengelolaan kerupuk udang. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah ibu rumah tangga Desa Krueng Tunong kurang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mengolah hasil tambak berupa udang dan memanfaatkannya menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomis. Tujuan dari program ini adalah membuat unit usaha untuk mengembangkan produk pangan berupa kerupuk berbahan dasar udang. Secara khusus merupakan program yang mengajarkan ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Krueng Tunong cara membuat kerupuk udang. Pelatihan ini dimulai dari pengolahan, pengemasan dan pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan adalah metode demonstrasi, diskusi dan pelatihan/konsultasi. Kegiatan tersebut melibatkan seluruh anggota Kuliah Kerja Nyata Melayu Serumpun III dari berbagai Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri se-Sumatera yang bertempat di Desa Krueng Tunong didampingi aparatur desa dan dikunjungi ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang ada di Desa Krueng Tunong. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah sekelompok ibu rumah tangga dari desa Krueng Tunong yang memiliki keterampilan membuat kerupuk udang dan menjalankan usaha. Dari diskusi-diskusi yang diadakan terlihat bahwa para peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengolahan dan pemanfaatan udang serta bersedia memanfaatkan peluang yang ada untuk meningkatkan pendapatan mereka. Sekitar 90% peserta aktif memberikan komentar positif tentang keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang diberikan oleh mahasiswa yang mengikuti Kuliah Kerja Nyata.

Abstract

The digitalization of reading assessment has become inevitable. The emergence of technology in reading assessment should be seen as an opportunity to improve the quality of students' reading. This study aims to compile various research conducted on digital reading assessment. The method used in this research is a literature review, where the researcher gathers information through literature studies including books, articles, research findings, and others. The researcher then analyzes the collected data using bibliometric analysis. Bibliometric analysis is an approach that employs a range of quantitative methods to measure, analyze, and track scientific literature. The results of this research found 29 articles related to digital-based reading assessment from 2013 to 2023. After analysis, several topics were frequently discussed in these articles, including assessment, computer-based assessment, technology, online testing, and open book. However, there are still some topics that need further development, such as computation design, reading comprehension assessment, cooperative/collaborative learning, and active reading. This research will be highly beneficial for researchers looking to develop digital reading assessments, ensuring that this form of assessment advances in the future and produces the best digital-based reading evaluations.

Abstract

Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Provinsi Jambi melalui bidang Sumber Daya Air (SDA) bertanggung jawab atas pengelolaan izin penggunaan air permukaan bagi perusahaan di wilayah Tanjung Jabung Barat dan Tanjung Jabung Timur. Proses pengelolaan yang masih dilakukan secara manual menimbulkan kendala seperti keterlambatan informasi, ketidakteraturan arsip, dan risiko kehilangan dokumen. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dikembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web yang dirancang menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sistem ini bertujuan menyajikan informasi masa berlaku izin secara cepat, akurat, dan mudah diakses. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, serta mendukung transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pelayanan publik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relevance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject matter for Grade IX, first semester, within the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in Phase D. The background of this research lies in the need for a critical evaluation of PAI materials to align with students’ developmental needs, while addressing a gap in previous studies that tended to focus on general curriculum design without specifically analysing PAI content at the junior secondary level. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method. Primary data sources include official documents from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, such as the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum (2022) and the Teacher’s Handbook for PAI Grade IX. Secondary data consist of scholarly articles and academic works related to curriculum and Islamic Religious Education. Data were analysed through three stages: classification, categorization, and content analysis to identify the alignment between subject matter and students’ contextual needs. The findings reveal that the PAI materials for Grade IX, first semester, demonstrate strong relevance to students’ cognitive, affective, and social development, as well as support character-building in line with the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. However, at the implementation level, several challenges remain, particularly limited instructional time, teachers’ readiness to adapt the materials, and the integration with cross-disciplinary learning. The study recommends strengthening teachers’ capacity through professional development programs focused on the Merdeka Curriculum, utilizing digital learning media, and conducting continuous evaluations at both the school and national levels. These findings are expected to provide practical contributions for teachers, schools, and policymakers in optimizing the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education.
