Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe scientific writing webinar activities in an effort to increase public understanding of writing skills. Methodology/approach: The method used is an online field study via Zoom on September 9, 2023, with a participatory model in which scientific writing webinar activities include three important stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Results/findings: The results showed that the scientific writing webinar activities included a planning stage that had implications for making flyers that had to be disseminated en masse, followed by the webinar implementation stage, which consisted of opening, core activities, questions and answers, and closing, and finally the evaluation stage, which was in the form of feedback from participants to determine the level of understanding of the material and satisfaction with the webinar activities. Limitations: The limitation of this research is that only 64 people participated in the full writing webinar, and it is hoped that further research can study more participants than that, so that it is clear, detailed, and reinforces what has been produced. Contribution: This resulted in the acquisition of a percentage of material understanding level of 71.7% and the level of satisfaction of participants with the organization of the webinar was very satisfied and satisfied by 81.1%.

Abstract

Currently, there are efforts to revitalize the function of kuttab in Indonesia through kuttab al Fatih. This research aims to analyze the kuttab al Fatih curriculum, especially in the field of life skills education as an Islamic educational institution. This research is a type of library research with descriptive and analytical methods. Data sources were taken through a literature review of books, articles, and literature relevant to the topic of discussion. The analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This research resulted in the conclusion that there is a uniqueness to the kuttab al Fatih curriculum which is summarized from the Qur'an and Hadith as well as the books of Salaf scholars. The association with the main reference of Islam can also be seen in learning students' life skills. The study in this research can add insight into the urgency of the kuttab concept as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. This research produces new discussions regarding the types of general and specific skills taught in the learning process at kuttab al Fatih.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya moderasi beragama dalam menjaga harmoni di masyarakat Indonesia yang multikultural. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah bagaimana nilai moderasi beragama diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di jenjang SMP dan implikasinya terhadap pendidikan toleransi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi nilai moderasi beragama, strategi guru, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta kontribusi nilai tersebut terhadap pembentukan toleransi siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumen, dan dokumentasi di SMP Negeri 3 Lembang pada Januari 2025 dengan populasi 192 siswa kelas 8 dan sampel 5 kelompok belajar kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama diintegrasikan melalui pembelajaran Bab 6 “Inspirasi Al-Quran: Indahnya Beragama secara Moderat” dengan pendekatan diskusi kasus. Strategi meliputi pembentukan kelompok, pemberian studi kasus, diskusi, dan presentasi. Temuan utama mencakup peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang moderasi, penghormatan terhadap perbedaan, dan pencegahan konflik berbasis agama. Faktor pendukungnya adalah ketersediaan sumber belajar dan antusiasme siswa, sedangkan penghambatnya adalah waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam penguatan teori moderasi beragama dan penerapannya di pembelajaran PAI. Keterbatasan penelitian adalah kurangnya pengukuran efektivitas model pembelajaran. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian berikutnya adalah studi keefektifan pembelajaran berbasis moderasi beragama.

Abstract

Sexual violence in religious-based educational institutions remains a critical issue that threatens students' safety and well-being. Despite the assumption that such schools uphold strong moral values, cases of teacher-student misconduct continue to emerge, often exacerbated by power imbalances, inadequate supervision, and cultural stigmas that prevent victims from reporting abuse. This study aims to investigate the contributing factors to sexual violence in religious schools, assess the effectiveness of existing prevention policies, and propose comprehensive strategies to enhance student protection. The research is guided by three key questions: (1) What factors contribute to sexual violence in religious-based schools? (2) How effective are the current policies in preventing such incidents? (3) What strategies can be implemented to strengthen preventive measures in these institutions? This study employs a qualitative research approach using in-depth interviews, observations, and policy analysis. The research focuses on a case study in Grobogan, Central Java, where a recent incident underscores systemic weaknesses in preventing sexual violence. Findings indicate that lack of awareness about ethical teacher-student boundaries, weak institutional supervision, and social stigma surrounding sexual abuse contribute significantly to the problem. Furthermore, reporting mechanisms are often inaccessible or ineffective, discouraging victims from seeking justice. The study proposes establishing anonymous reporting systems, strengthening ethical training for teachers and students, and integrating religious-based sexual education into school curricula. These recommendations aim to foster a safer learning environment by balancing effective child protection with respect for religious and cultural values. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and religious leaders to develop holistic, sustainable approaches to preventing sexual violence in schools.

Abstract

This article aims to find out, analyse, and offer a time management model for female students in the midst of dual roles in dealing with academic procrastination at the Islamic State University. Procrastination is an academic term used for students who delay doing coursework. The act of procrastination can be seen from the delay in completing studies, the inability to manage time, and the inability to manage oneself. This research uses qualitative research methods which are field research. There are two data sources that are the reference for this research. The first is primary data which is key data in the form of interview results. Second, secondary data obtained from research results in the form of scientific articles, books, and other library materials related to the research topic. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study found that the learning model for dual-role female students in dealing with academic procrastination with proportional time management is very important to be implemented as an effort to avoid procrastination of academic tasks. Female students as self-controllers must have the strength to keep procrastination behaviour away in order to be able to complete academic tasks in a timely manner. The ability of self-control will have a positive effect on the realisation of a balanced academic atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the religious maturity of adolescents with a survey of its review, namely school students so that the process, obstacles, and solutions for developing their religious maturity can be seen. The research design uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method with primary data in journals, books, papers, reports, and proceedings, and secondary data in the form of valid sources from the internet and documentation. After the data is collected, a descriptive and content analysis is carried out to obtain conclusions. The results of the study revealed that religious maturity in adolescence with a survey of its review, namely school students, occurs in three periods, early adolescence, middle adolescence, and late adolescence. In the early adolescent phase, there are doubts, hesitations, and confusion about beliefs in religious teachings and God, entering the middle phase, starting to search, and appreciate the values of religious teachings, and entering the final adolescent phase, their souls are increasingly stable. From the findings, it is known that the religious maturity of school students has not been optimal towards what is expected because, during monotonous religious learning, the problem of teacher competence is lacking, limited time, facilities, and the students themselves. Efforts that can be made are to develop a PAI curriculum, both in terms of design, methods, materials, media, and evaluations that are full of meaning, not justification, and provide opportunities and chances for students to internalize the values of religious teachings based on what they experience from real life.

Abstract

Pembentukan diri manusia dimulai dari lingkungan pertama mereka yakni keluarga. Sumber ajaran islam baik alqur’an maupun hadist juga menjelaskan betapa keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat dominan dan penting. Sementara itu, dalam prosesnya terdapat banyak teori yang digunakan oleh orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan terhadap anak nya, salah satunya adalah teori behavioristik. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan terkait Teori Behavioristik Dalam Pendidikan Keluarga Menurut Hadits Nabi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan teknik analisis isi di saat pengolahan data, lalu dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan secara deskriptif verifikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Teori Behavioristik Dalam Pendidikan Keluarga Menurut Hadits Nabi mencakup prinsip-prinsip yang dikemukakan oleh Pavlov, Thorndike, Guthrie dan Skinner mulai dari pentingnya pengkondisian belajar, stimulus sebelum respon hingga lingkungan dimana semua hal tadi sudah dicontohkan oleh Nabi Muhammad jauh sebelum muncul para pencetus teori tersebut. Maka sepantasnya bagi seorang muslim untuk meneladani apa yang sudah dilakukan Nabi dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan, terutama ranah keluarga

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is rich in diversity so one of the leading thinkers of democracy and pluralism emerged, namely KH. Abdurrahman Wahid was born in Jombang, East Java, and is usually called Gus Dur. He is a reform thinker in this field and even instilled the concept of indigenous Islam in Indonesia so he is called the Father of Pluralism in the World. So the purpose of this study is to describe pluralism from the perspective of KH Abdurrahman Wahid. This research method is a literature study with a socio-historical and factual historical approach to reveal real past events. The results of the study show that Pluralism in KH Abdurrahman Wahid's Perspective is the view that every religion has differences, characteristics, and uniqueness of each, and not equate all religions to foster a spirit of tolerance among human beings to create peace in life.

Abstract

Learning style is a way of receiving, understanding, and processing information from each student in the learning process. In its development, learning styles are broadly (generally) divided into visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. One of the efforts that can be made to find out the learning style of each student is by non-cognitive diagnostic assessment, especially in the framework of the independent curriculum learning becomes one of the main and most important things. Non-cognitive diagnostic assessment is very helpful for educators in mapping learning needs and goals according to the learning styles of their students. SMPN 3 Lembang did the same thing by conducting non-cognitive diagnostic tests on 318 students as samples in the study. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, while the data collection tools are taken from the results of the non-cognitive diagnostic test of learning styles of students in grades 7D-7K at SMPN 3 Lembang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the study concluded that the learning style of students in grades 7D-7K at SMPN 3 Lembang was most dominant in the visual learning style with a percentage of 46% (148 students), in second place was the kinesthetic learning style of 40% (126 students), and the auditory learning style was 14% (44 students). It is expected that educators can use learning styles that can stimulate students' visual learning styles such as the use of demonstration teaching methods, practicum, observation of the surrounding environment, and others. Abstrak: Gaya belajar merupakan cara menerima, memahami, dan mengolah informasi dari setiap siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada perkembangannya, gaya belajar secara garis besar (umum) terbagi menjadi gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui gaya belajar setiap siswa ialah dengan asesmen diagnostik non-kognitif, terlebih dalam kerangka kurikulum merdeka belajar menjadi satu hal yang utama dan penting. Asesmen diagnostik non-kognitif sangat membantu pendidik dalam memetakan kebutuhan dan tujuan pembelajaran sesuai dengan gaya belajar para siswanya. Tidak terkecuali di SMPN 3 Lembang melakukan hal yang sama yaitu dengan melalukan tes diagnostik non-kognitif terhadap 318 siswa sebagai sampel dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, adapun alat pengumpulan data diambil dari hasil tes diagnostik non-kognitif gaya belajar belajar siswa kelas 7D-7K di SMPN 3 Lembang Tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar siswa kelas 7D-7K di SMPN 3 Lembang paling dominan ialah gaya belajar visual dengan prosentase sebesar 46% (148 siswa), diposisi kedua yaitu gaya belajar kinestetik sebesar 40% (126 siswa), dan gaya belajar auditori sebesar 14% (44 siswa). Diharapkan pendidik dapat menggunakan gaya belajar yang dapat menstimulus gaya belajar visual siswa seperti penggunaan metode mengajar demonstrasi, praktikum, observasi lingkungan sekitar dan lainnya.
