Abstract

Daerah Istimewa (Special Region of) Yogyakarta has 3,186 km2 wide area with 3,020,837 populations. Yogyakarta is well-known as an education city and a new student destination. Until 2005, it was reached number of 229,761 students (DIY Education Department, 2006). Finding boarding houses which are as needed and desired by students and learners is not easy. The obstacle that is often faced is do not know the area, or do not have friends who can give suggestion of appropriate boarding houses for students and learners. Therefore, it is necessary to create boarding house information system to facilitate students when looking for a place to stay. This information system is expected to help students finding a boarding house and also help boarding house owners to publish an empty boarding house room. System development method in this study is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) using a waterfall model. The waterfall model is a systematic approach and sequential starting of the level of system requirements, then to the analyzing data, designing, coding, and testing / verification. The boarding house information system is capable of informing the boarding line with the criteria sought by searchers. This information system is also capable of displaying the boarding house location utilizing Google Maps API to ease the boarding house location searching.

Abstract

A RAM or formerly known as a memory is a primary memory which helps swift data availability without waiting the whole data processed by the hard disk. A memory is also used by all installed applications including web browsers but there have been disappointed in cases of memory usages. Researchers use a descriptive quantitative approach with an observation, a central tendency and a dispersion method. There are 15 browsers chosen by random to be tested with low, medium and high loads to get their memory usage logs. Researchers proceed to analyze the log by using descriptive statistics to measure the central tendency and dispersion of data. A standard reference value from web application memory usage has been found as much as 393.38 MB. From that point, this research is successful and has been found the result. The web browser with the lowest memory usage is Flock with 134.67 MB and the web browser with the highest memory usage is Baidu with 699.66 MB.

Abstract

Pharmacy information systems that exist today, many of them are designed and built just to manage a single specific pharmacy. In terms of ordering medications, the pharmacies most still use the manual method, such as send a letter of reservation or make a reservation by phone. The database is built as a back-end of the pharmacy information system, also use the software most diverse database. Currently, from the customer side, to obtain the presence information of a drug product, customers need to go to every pharmacy one by one to find the product you are looking for drugs. This, of course, will add to the cost and is very inefficient in economic terms. This study aims to develop an integrated pharmacy information system by utilizing Service Oriented Architecture. Method of system development approach is built with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Plans are being implemented by the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The programming language used in this study is PHP with CodeIgniter framework, Visual Basic. NET (VB.NET), and Java 2 Mobile Edition (J2ME).  The results of this research are the production of an integrated pharmacy information system with other pharmacy information system and other applications, both in terms of different languages and different development in the database used. With the integration of the system, it can be used for broader uses, such as ordering goods between different pharmacy systems. In addition, it also produced mobile and desktop-based applications to access information drug stocks. These mobile applications are expected to be able to close the pharmacy with a customer who would have an impact on customer relationships and the pharmacies are getting close.

Abstract

Food delivery services become more popular in Indonesia, which is proven by the number of restaurants that provide delivery services such as KFC, Mc Donald, and others. They are still using the phone to serve the customers. For customers, ordering by phone is less interactive since they cannot see the display of available menus with the prices and other details. For the cashiers, ordering by phone is also less effective since they have to write the menus, prices and addresses manually, whereas nowadays we need automation and the speed becomes a very important factor. This system is using Mobile Web technology and Geographical Information System (GIS), which with this technology the customers can order anywhere, and the order pages will be more interactive. For the cashiers, with this GIS, they do not need to record the data order manually. For food deliver, with the technology of GIS, food delivery processes will become easier due to the visualization of the location of customers, and they also can use the existing tracking features in GIS. The system implements the concept of client-server where the server website is used by restaurants, and mobile websites as client are used by customers for ordering food. The Web server has a notification ordering feature, administrator management, menus management, order management, suggestion management, restaurant management, and financial reports. Client's website has a food order feature, geolocation, and send suggestions features to the restaurant.

Abstract

Assistant or lecturer in a practicum on algorithmic learning courses it often takes a long time to correct a task collected by the practitioner. The number of tasks that must be corrected many will require a longer time. To simplify the work of the assistant or the lecturer developed a system that automatically corrects tasks that are collected by the practitioners with the black box testing method, so that the assistant only needs to publish the task and wait for the task to be corrected automatically and view or download the correction results. With the existence of this system, it is expected that the correction of tasks will be more fast, easy, and effective, and make students more able to get grades better because students are allowed to collect their assignments many times to be satisfied with the value.
