The Islamic education system is central to the cultivation of values in young people especially given the present day modernisation and globalisation. In this particular study, the research approach adopted is that of literature review. The results showed that; (1) Integrating good moral values and ethics with Islamic teachings, (2) Preserving and self-affirming the spiritual core amidst global diaspora, (3) Outlining proper boundaries in contemporary moral issues, (4) Enhancing spiritual intelligence aside from emotional and intellectual intelligence. Some of the major challenges that have been reported are, the media and technological negatives, the secularized nature of education, and the disconnect between religion and education. Possible ways for improvement are: the adoption of a more comprehensive curriculum reform, enhancement of teachers’ skill levels, the integration of information technology in the teaching process, and the promotion of collaboration among educational establishments, parents, and society. Thus, Islam education has a great promise in producing well-rounded morally upright and strong minded young individuals. And to enhance the relevance and efficacy of purpose of Islamic education in developing young people on the various aspects needed to be competitive in the future is to introduce the education into its current context.

Abstract

The biggest crisis in the world today is the crisis of example or uswah. The need for a leader who has character like the Prophet Muhammad is very necessary because many people who serve as leaders do not have the character that a leader should have in terms of educational leadership. Leadership is the characteristic of a leader in assuming formal moral and legal responsibility for all the implementation of his authority which has been delegated to the people he leads. As an exemplary leader who is an ideal model of leadership, Rasulullah was gifted with four main characteristics, namely: Sidiq, Amanah, Tablighi and Fathonah. Sidiq means honest in words and deeds, amanah means being trustworthy in maintaining responsibilities, tablig means conveying all kinds of goodness to the people and fathonah means being intelligent in managing society

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is an individual's ability to understand and internalise spiritual values as a foundation in living life. In early childhood, the development of spiritual intelligence can be built through real experiences involving social care activities in the community. This study aims to examine the implementation of social care activities in supporting the development of spiritual intelligence in early childhood. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study of an early childhood education institution that implements a social activity-based programme. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that social care activities, such as sharing food, helping neighbours and environmental activities, can increase children's sense of empathy, responsibility and understanding of religious and human values. In addition, the involvement of parents and the community plays an important role in creating an environment that supports the development of children's spiritual intelligence. The conclusion of this study emphasises the importance of synergy between families, schools and communities in designing meaningful social activities for young children.

Abstract

Learning media is a very important part of the learning process because it is a tool and method used by teachers to convey information in the classroom. There are many innovations happening in the world of education today, one of which is the use of Videoscribe, an animation design application with a white background like a blackboard. Based on the results of observations and interviews with grade V students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Al-Ianah, it was found that students' learning motivation was still low because the use of media was less interesting. The purpose of this research is to create Videoscribe-based learning media. The research instruments are observation and interview, while the analysis method is based on linguistic data such as notes, comments, suggestions and criticisms from students and peers. The results of this study can make learning more interesting, increase student motivation, avoid boredom, and train student thinking from concrete to abstract and simple to complex Students can place visual elements together. Connect the overall visual message with your own experience. Draw conclusions from what you visualise. Then, create new concepts based on what you learnt earlier.

Abstract

Religious moderation is an important issue in social life in the current era of globalization, especially in the Islamic boarding school environment. Al Khoir Tegalwaru Islamic Boarding School as a traditional Islamic educational institution plays a key role in forming students' attitudes of tolerance. This research aims to explore students' understanding of the concept of religious moderation in social life in Islamic boarding schools, as well as identifying the challenges faced in its implementation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with students and caregivers, as well as observations in the Islamic boarding school environment. The research results show that the majority of santri understand religious moderation as a balance between practicing religious teachings and tolerance for differences, but they face difficulties in interacting with other religious groups. Teaching of religious moderation is mostly done informally and is not well structured. Apart from that, the conservative Islamic boarding school environment also limits students' understanding of the wider application of religious moderation. The implication of this research is the need for a more systematic approach in teaching religious moderation, as well as strengthening the role of caregivers in guiding students to apply the values of moderation in everyday life. This research also provides insight for Islamic boarding school managers in improving the quality of education to be more inclusive and tolerant.Understanding santri

Abstract

A stage of human development known as adolescence separates childhood from maturity. It's too advanced to be referred to as childhood, but it can be considered adulthood. Adolescence is a time of both physical and psychological transformation. The reproductive system grows in tandem with physical growth, and teenagers will go through more intense psychological changes than earlier generations. Among other things, the pervasive instances of drug abuse, promiscuity, crime, fraudulent diplomas, and various violent acts point to the issue of moral decay in the educational system. Aside from that, a lot of young people don't exhibit admirable moral qualities like courtesy, kindness, tolerance, humility, helpfulness, and social solidarity. There are two ways that character education is utilized to prevent adolescent delinquency: Character education is imparted through extracurricular activities, habituation, and Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). Religion, honesty, tolerance, discipline, diligence, inventiveness, patriotism, and curiosity are among the character traits imparted.
