Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of hemoglobin, cholesterol, and bloodtriglycerides in the fattening pattern of male bali cattle breeders which will be affected by mixedfield grass - legume clitoria ternatea and concentrate as complete feed. The livestock used in thisstudy were 8 feeder cattle with an average body weight of 112.88 kg and an age of 1 to 1.5 years.The Latin Square Design, with 4 treatments and 4 replication periods, was the researchmethodology used. In this study there were three different treatments: P0: farmer pattern feed(control), P1: farmer pattern (60%) + Grass-Legume Silage (30%) + Concentrate (10%), P2:farmer pattern (50% ) + Grass Silage - Legumes (40%), and P3: Cropping Patterns (40%) + Grass-Legume Silage. The levels of hemoglobin, cholesterol, and triglycerides in the blood are the testvariables of the study. Analysis of variance was used to calculate the data (ANOVA). g/dlhemoglobin and mg/dl cholesterol. Based on the results of the analysis, the therapy did not have asignificant impact (P>0.05) on the blood metabolites of Bali cattle fed to gain weight. Based on theresults of this study, it can be concluded that the silage of a mixture of field grass-legume Clitoriaternatea and concentrate can be utilized up to 50% because it gets the same results on hemoglobin,cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. bali cattle fattening. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar hemoglobin, kolesterol, dan trigliseridadarah pada pola penggemukan peternak sapi bali jantan akan dipengaruhi oleh silase mixed fieldgrass - legum clitoria ternatea dan konsentrat sebagai pakan lengkap. Ternak yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah 8 ekor sapi bakalan dengan bobot badan rata-rata 112,88 kg dan umur1 sampai 1,5 tahun. Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin, dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode ulangan,merupakan metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Pada penelitian ini terdapat tiga perlakuan yangberbeda: P0: pakan pola petani (kontrol), P1: pola petani (60%) + Silase Rumput-Legum (30%) +Konsentrat (10%), P2: pola petani (50% ) + Silase Rumput - Legum (40%), dan P3: Pola Tanam(40%) + Grass-Legume Silage. Kadar hemoglobin, kolesterol, dan trigliserida dalam darah adalahvariabel uji studi. Analisis varians digunakan untuk menghitung data (ANOVA). g/dl hemoglobindan mg/dl kolesterol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terapi tidak memberikan dampak yang berarti(P>0,05) terhadap metabolit darah sapi bali yang diberi pakan untuk menambah berat badan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa silase campuran rumput lapangan-legumClitoria ternatea dan konsentrat dapat dimanfaatkan hingga 50% karena mendapat hasil yangsama terhadap kadar hemoglobin, kolesterol, dan trigliserida.penggemukan sapi bali.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the effect of concentration supplementation of cattle rumen waste feedfermented with EM4 on the energy consumption of fattening male Bali cattle. In this study, 12male Bali cattle were used, aged between 1-1.5, with a body weight range of 138-155 kg with anaverage of 145.3 kg (KV) 3.59%. The experimental research method was used, using fourtreatments and three replications in a completely randomized design (CRD). P0: breeder patternfeed + concentrate without fermented rumen content (IRF), P1: breeder pattern feed + concentratefeed containing 20% IRF, P2; Breeder pattern feed + concentrate feed containing 40% IRF, P3;farmer pattern feed + concentrate feed containing 60% IRF. The data obtained were analyzedusing ANOVA. Based on the results of the study, the average P0: (75.00 ± 0.30), P1: (74.44 ±0.15), P2: (75.36 ± 0.36), P3: (74.15 ± 0.36), 33), energy consumption (kcal/e/h) P0:(16638.35±1.01), P1: (16668.8±5.14), P2: (16749.71±1.21), P3: (16618.2±1.11), crude fatdigestibility (%) P0: (40.07±4.09), P1: (39.99667±3.35), P2: (40.3±4.40 ), P3: (38.41667±3.66),energy digestibility (%) P0: (70.78667±1.18), P1: (71.14±1.20), P2: (72.33± 3.58), P3:(70.67333±3.14). Statistical results showed that treatment had no effect (P<0.05) on energyconsumption, crude fat digestibility, or energy digestibility but had a very significant effect(P<0.01) on crude fat consumption. The conclusion of this study is that the feed concentratesupplementation of fermented cow rumen waste contents. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memastikan dampak dari suplementasi konsentrasi pakan limbah isirumen sapi yang difermentasi EM4 terhadap konsumsi, kecernaan lemak kasar dan energi sapiBali jantan penggemukan. Ternak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ternak sapi bali jantansebanyak 12 ekor berusia antara 1-1,5 tahun dan kisaran bobot badan 138-155 kg dengan rataan145,3 kg (KV 3,59%). Metode penelitian eksperimental digunakan dalam Rancangan AcakLengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan Masing-masing perlakuan yaitu P0:Pakan pola peternak + konsentrat tanpa isi rumen fermentasi (IRF), P1: pakan pola peternak +pakan kosentrat mengandung 20% IRF, P2: Pakan pola peternak + pakan konsentrat mengandung40% IRF, P3: pakan pola peternak + pakan konsentrat mengandung 60% IRF. Data yang diperolehdianalisis menggunakan Anova. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian diperoleh rataan P0: (75,00±0,30),P1: (74,44±0,15), P2: (75,36±0,36), P3: (74,15±0,33), konsumsi energi (kkal/e/h) P0:(16638,35±1,01), P1: (16668,8±5,14), P2: (16749,71±1,21), P3: (16618,2±1,11), kecernaan lemakkasar (%) P0: (40,07±4,09), P1: (39,99667±3,35), P2: (40,3±4,40), P3: (38,41667±3,66), kecernaanenergi (%) P0: (70,78667±1,18), P1: (71,14±1,20), P2: (72,33±3,58), P3: (70,67333±3,14). Hasilstatistik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi energi,kecernaan lemak kasar, atau kecernaan energi tetapi memiliki pengaruh yang sangat nyata(P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi lemak kasar. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa suplementasipakan konsentrat limbah isi rumen sapi fermentasi dapat digunakan sebanyak 60% menggantikanjagung giling 100% dan dedak padi 75% dari proporsi kedua bahan pakan tersebut sebanyak 70%dalam campuran ransum konsentrat untuk ternak ruminansia (sapi).

Abstract

Aim of this study was to determine the effect of providing full animal feed based on Leucaena leuchepala andcorn-straw silage with biocomplex Zn on digestible protein, digestible energy and total digestible nutrient(TDN) of local goat. The livestock used in this study were 4 male local goats 1-1,5 years old with bodyweight range of 19,1–21,77kg an average 20,69kg. The research used an experimental method using LatinSquare Design (LSD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 periods as replicate, while the treatments were P0:Leucaena leuchepala 100% (control), P1: Leucaena leuchepala 70% + corn-straw silage 20% + concentrate10%, P2: Leucaena leuchepala 60% + corn-straw silage 30% + concentrate 10%, P3: Leucaena leuchepala50% + corn-straw silage 40% + concentrate 10%; while biocomplex Zinc added 100mgs per treatments. Theresult of this research were obtain the mean of digestible protein (g/h/d)P0: 96.13±9.55, P1: 115.99±8.07, P2:116.48±7.57, P3: 114.87±9.90. Digestible energy (kcal/h/d) P0: 1,647.20±290.87, P1: 2,147±180.68, P2:2,162.97±174.13, P3: 2,114.35±366.46. TDN (%) P0: 63.75±2.71, P1: 68.78±0.39, P2: 69.61±2.77, P3:69.32±3.07. The analysis results show that the treatments had no significant effect (P>0.05) on digestiblenutrition of local male goat. In conclusion was complete feed based on Leucaena leuchepala and corn-strawsilage up to 40% and 10% of concentrate with biocomplex Zn give the same effect with Leucaena leuchepalafeeding treatment on nutrition digestible of local goat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat efek dari pemberian pakan komplit berbasis lamtoro dansilase Jerami jagung dengan tambahan Zn biokompleks terhadap protein kasar tercerna, energi tercerna danTDN ternak kambing local jantan. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap kambing lokal jantan dengan kisaran umur1-1,5 tahun sebanyak 4 ekor dengan kisaran bobot badan 19,1–21,77kg dengan rataan 20,69kg. Pendekatansecara eksperimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL), yangterdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode sebagai ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian ini adalah P0: lamtoro 100%(kontrol), P1: lamtoro 70% + silase jerami jagung 20% + konsentrat 10%, P2: lamtoro 60% + silase jeramijagung 30% + konsentrat 10%, P3: lamtoro 50% + silase jerami jagung 40% + konsentrat 10%; pemberianpakan imbuhan Zn biokompleks sebanyak 100mg per perlakuan. Data hasil penelitian ditabulasi dandianalisis dengan analisis ragam (Anova). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidaknyata (P>0,05) terhadap nutrisi tercerna ternak kambing kacang jantan.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian pakan komplit berbahan dasar lamtoro dan silase jeramijagung sampai 40% dan konsentrat 10% dengan tambahan Zn-biokompleks memberikan efek yang samadengan perlakuan pakan tunggal lamtoro terhadap nutrisi tercerna ternak kambing lokal jantan

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of various levels of feeding using banana stem silage on theconsumption and digestibility of Energy and BETN in fattening Bali cattle. The subjects in the research were 12bulls aged between 1.5 years with a body weight ranging from 80.5-97 kg and an average weight of 89.4 kg. Theresearch method used a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments and three replications (P0, P1, P2,and P3). P0 consists of 80% concentrate and 20% silage, P1 consists of 70% concentrate and 30% silage, P2consists of 60% concentrate and 40% silage, and P3 consists of 50% concentrate and 50% silage. The dataobtained were analyzed using ANOVA. The research results showed that the average BETN consumption (g/e/d)was P0: 135,549 ± 53.51, P1: 141,550 ± 46.42, P2: 146,542 ± 72.56, P3: 138,761 ± 47.02. Energy consumption(kcal/e/h) P0: 10,721.29 ± 423,235, P1: 11192.08 ± 367,048 P2: 11582.70 ± 573,479 P3: 10,963.70 ± 371,474.BETN digestibility (%) P0: 67.86 ± 68.07 P1: 71.32 ± 55.42 P2: 74.83 ± 68.48 P3: 75.96 ± 34.98. Energydigestibility (%) P0: 66.46 ± 61.10, P1: 69.25 ± 65.69, P2: 73.89 ± 69.95 P3: 74.48 ± 34.62. Statistical analysisshowed that the experiment was not significant (P>0.05) on the average energy consumption and digestibilityand BETN. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai level pemberian pakan menggunakan silase batangpisang terhadap konsumsi serta kecernaan Energi dan BETN pada penggemukan sapi bali. Subyek dalampenelitian yaitu 12 ekor sapi jantan berumur antara 1,5 tahun dengan berat badan berkisar antara 80,5-97 kg danberat rata-rata 89,4 kg. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkaap dengan empat perlakuandan tiga ulangan (P0, P1, P2, dan P3). P0 terdiri dari 80% konsentrat dan 20% silase, P1 terdiri dari 70%konsentrat dan 30% silase, P2 terdiri dari 60% konsentrat dan 40% silase, dan P3 terdiri dari 50% konsentrat dan50% silase. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan ANOVA. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rataankonsumsi BETN (g/e/h) P0: 135.549 ± 53,51, P1: 141.550 ± 46,42, P2: 146.542 ± 72,56, P3: 138.761 ± 47,02.Konsumsi energi (kkal/e/h) P0: 10.721,29 ± 423.235, P1: 11192,08 ± 367,048 P2: 11582,70 ± 573,479 P3:10.963,70 ± 371,474. Abstract

The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effect of giving a complete feed containing leucaena forage and corn straw silage with different constellations with biocomplex Zn addition on the digestibility of nitrogen free extract and Energy of male local both. The research method used was the Latin square design with 4 treatments and 4 periods as repetition. The four treatments were: P0: leucaena 100% (control) + Zn biocomplex 100 mg, P1 : leucaena 70% + silage corn straw 20% + 10% + concencrate + Zn biocomplex 100 mg, P2 : leucaena 60% + corn straw silage 30% + concetrate 10% + Zn biocomplex 100 mg, P3: leucaena 50% + corn straw silage 40% + concentrate 10% + Zn biocomplex 100 mg. The average value of each variable in each treatment is nitrogen free extract (g/h/d) P0 consumption; (280.12±20.53), P1; (327.86±23.79), P2; (326.14±22.89), P3; (322.08±24.05); P0 Energy consumption (Kcal/h/d): (2356.34±172.71), P1 ; (2816.01±204,30), P2 ; (2826.70±199.17), P3 ; (2817.09±210.40); While, nitrogen free extract digestibility (%), P0 ; (75.79±3.25), P1 ; (78.90±0.88), P2 ; (79.41±1.48), P3 ; (78.99±1.58); P0 Energy Digestibility(%) (69.50±7.77), P1 ; (76.27±3.59), P2 ; (76.51±2.86), P3 ; (74.67±8.75). The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance showing that the treatment had on sigificant effect on the consumption and digestibility of nitrogen free extract and energy (P>0.05). The conclusion of this study was that providing complete feed made from leucaena corn straw silage up to 40% and 10% concentrate with Zn biocomplex 100 mg added provided nitrogen free extract consumption and anxiety and energy similar to that of 100% leucaena given to local both.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving complete feed based on silage mixed with sorghum and gamal leaves at different levels on blood cholesterol, triglyceride and hemoglobin levels in female local goats. In this study, 4 female local goats aged 6-8 months were used with a body weight range of 11-15 kg with an average of 12.88 kg and a coefficient of variation of 6.74%. The experimental method used the Latin Square Design (RBSL) with 4 treatments and 4 periods as repetition consisting of P0 = 80% silage + 20% concentrate, P1 = 70% silage + 30% concentrate, P2 = 60% silage + 40% concentrate , P3 = 50% silage + 50% concentrate. Parameters observed were blood cholesterol, triglyceride and hemoglobin levels of livestock. The results of this study indicated that the effect of complete feeding based on silage mixed with sorghum and gamal leaves at different levels on blood cholesterol, triglyceride and hemoglobin levels of female local goats had no significant effect (P>0.05) on blood cholesterol, blood triglyceride levels, blood hemoglobin levels of local female goats. The conclusion from the complete feeding based on silage mixed with sorghum and gamal leaves at different levels has no significant effect on blood cholesterol, triglyceride and hemoglobin levels.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the impact of replacing milled corn with fermented banana peel flour (KPF) and Zn-biocomplex supplemented concentrate feed on the blood profile of fattening male Bali cattle. Twelve male Bali cattle aged 2–2.5 years, with a body weight range of 130.5–175.5 kg (coefficient of variation: 7.87%), were used in a completely randomized experimental design. The treatments were as follows: P0 (70% forage + 30% concentrate without KPF substitution), P1 (25% KPF substitution), P2 (50% KPF substitution), and P3 (75% KPF substitution). Results showed erythrocyte levels (10⁶/µl) of P0: 10.06 ± 0.48; P1: 10.37 ± 0.45; P2: 11.06 ± 0.06; P3: 10.26 ± 0.17. Leukocyte levels (10⁴/µl) were P0: 10.68 ± 0.61; P1: 11.56 ± 0.46; P2: 11.14 ± 1.08; P3: 10.75 ± 0.72. Hematocrit levels (%) were P0: 31 ± 2.40; P1: 33.36 ± 1.11; P2: 33.79 ± 1.32; P3: 32.26 ± 1.16. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicated no significant differences (P > 0.05) in erythrocyte, leukocyte, or hematocrit levels among treatments. In conclusion, substituting up to 75% of milled corn with KPF in the concentrate feed, combined with Zn-biocomplex supplementation, did not adversely affect the blood profile of fattening male Bali cattle. This suggests that fermented banana peel flour can serve as a viable alternative to corn in cattle feed formulations.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of complete sorghum–Clitoria silage integrated with various horticultural crops on nutrient digestibility in local female goats. Four local female goats aged 6–8 months (body weight 17–23 kg) were used in a Latin square design (4 treatments × 4 periods). The treatments consisted of: R0 (sorghum–Clitoria silage without integration), R1 (integration with bitter melon), R2 (integration with cucumber), and R3 (integration with long bean). Measured parameters included digestible crude protein, digestible energy, and total digestible nutrient (TDN). Analysis of variance showed no significant effect (P>0.05) of the treatments on any of the observed parameters. Thus, the use of complete sorghum–Clitoria silage with different horticultural crop integrations provides comparable effectiveness in supporting nutrient digestibility in local female goats.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of rice bran and ground corn substitution levels with Win_prob probiotic fermented corn cob flour (TTJF) and the addition of Zn biocomplex in concentrate feed on the nutrient digestibility of fattening Bali cattle. A total of 12 male Bali cattle aged 1–1.5 years (147–189 kg; 168.08±15.50 kg; KV 9.22%) were tested with 4 treatments × 3 replicates: P0 (control); P1 (bran replaced with 25% TTJF and 15% ground corn); P2 (35% and 25%); P3 (45% and 35%); all treatments supplemented with 100 mg of bio-complexed Zn. Variables: digestible crude protein, digestible energy, and TDN; analysis using ANOVA. The mean showed a downward trend from P0 to P3, but was not significantly different (P>0.05). It was concluded that TTJF could be used up to 45% to replace bran and 35% to replace ground corn from the initial composition of 55% bran + 20% corn in the concentrate, without reducing the digestibility of protein, energy, and TDN in Bali cattle.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of giving odot grass silage with rice straw as an absorbant on consumption, digestibility and nitrogen retention in goats. This research used a Latin square design (LSD) with 4 treatments and 4 periods as a repeat. The treatment is JP0 = silage 100% odot grass, JP10 = + silage 90% odot grass and rice straw 10%, JP20 = silage 80% odot grass and rice straw 20%, JP 30 = silage 70% odot grass and rice straw 30%. The parameters observed are nitrogen consumption, nitrogen digestibility, and nitrogen retention. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of variance. Based on the results of the study, the average Consumption of N (g/h/d) JP0: 12,677 JP10: 10,180 JP20: 9,486 JP30: 10,882. Digestibility average N (%) JP0 : 86,493 JP10: 88,918 JP20: 88,699 JP30: 87,576. Retention average N (g/h/d) JP0: 11,089 JP10: 8,574 JP20: 8,070 JP30: 8,469. Shows that the application of odot grass silage with rice straw as an absorbant has no real effect (P >0.05) on nitrogen consumption, nitrogen digestibility and nitrogen retention. The use of rice straw as an absorbant of up to 30% in the manufacture of odot grass silage did not affect the consumption of dry matter, organic matter and nitrogen and digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, nitrogen and nitrogen retention in goats.
