Abstract

Aim of this study was to determine the effect of providing full animal feed based on Leucaena leuchepala andcorn-straw silage with biocomplex Zn on digestible protein, digestible energy and total digestible nutrient(TDN) of local goat. The livestock used in this study were 4 male local goats 1-1,5 years old with bodyweight range of 19,1–21,77kg an average 20,69kg. The research used an experimental method using LatinSquare Design (LSD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 periods as replicate, while the treatments were P0:Leucaena leuchepala 100% (control), P1: Leucaena leuchepala 70% + corn-straw silage 20% + concentrate10%, P2: Leucaena leuchepala 60% + corn-straw silage 30% + concentrate 10%, P3: Leucaena leuchepala50% + corn-straw silage 40% + concentrate 10%; while biocomplex Zinc added 100mgs per treatments. Theresult of this research were obtain the mean of digestible protein (g/h/d)P0: 96.13±9.55, P1: 115.99±8.07, P2:116.48±7.57, P3: 114.87±9.90. Digestible energy (kcal/h/d) P0: 1,647.20±290.87, P1: 2,147±180.68, P2:2,162.97±174.13, P3: 2,114.35±366.46. TDN (%) P0: 63.75±2.71, P1: 68.78±0.39, P2: 69.61±2.77, P3:69.32±3.07. The analysis results show that the treatments had no significant effect (P>0.05) on digestiblenutrition of local male goat. In conclusion was complete feed based on Leucaena leuchepala and corn-strawsilage up to 40% and 10% of concentrate with biocomplex Zn give the same effect with Leucaena leuchepalafeeding treatment on nutrition digestible of local goat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat efek dari pemberian pakan komplit berbasis lamtoro dansilase Jerami jagung dengan tambahan Zn biokompleks terhadap protein kasar tercerna, energi tercerna danTDN ternak kambing local jantan. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap kambing lokal jantan dengan kisaran umur1-1,5 tahun sebanyak 4 ekor dengan kisaran bobot badan 19,1–21,77kg dengan rataan 20,69kg. Pendekatansecara eksperimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL), yangterdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode sebagai ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian ini adalah P0: lamtoro 100%(kontrol), P1: lamtoro 70% + silase jerami jagung 20% + konsentrat 10%, P2: lamtoro 60% + silase jeramijagung 30% + konsentrat 10%, P3: lamtoro 50% + silase jerami jagung 40% + konsentrat 10%; pemberianpakan imbuhan Zn biokompleks sebanyak 100mg per perlakuan. Data hasil penelitian ditabulasi dandianalisis dengan analisis ragam (Anova). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidaknyata (P>0,05) terhadap nutrisi tercerna ternak kambing kacang jantan.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemberian pakan komplit berbahan dasar lamtoro dan silase jeramijagung sampai 40% dan konsentrat 10% dengan tambahan Zn-biokompleks memberikan efek yang samadengan perlakuan pakan tunggal lamtoro terhadap nutrisi tercerna ternak kambing lokal jantan

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of various levels of feeding using banana stem silage on theconsumption and digestibility of Energy and BETN in fattening Bali cattle. The subjects in the research were 12bulls aged between 1.5 years with a body weight ranging from 80.5-97 kg and an average weight of 89.4 kg. Theresearch method used a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments and three replications (P0, P1, P2,and P3). P0 consists of 80% concentrate and 20% silage, P1 consists of 70% concentrate and 30% silage, P2consists of 60% concentrate and 40% silage, and P3 consists of 50% concentrate and 50% silage. The dataobtained were analyzed using ANOVA. The research results showed that the average BETN consumption (g/e/d)was P0: 135,549 ± 53.51, P1: 141,550 ± 46.42, P2: 146,542 ± 72.56, P3: 138,761 ± 47.02. Energy consumption(kcal/e/h) P0: 10,721.29 ± 423,235, P1: 11192.08 ± 367,048 P2: 11582.70 ± 573,479 P3: 10,963.70 ± 371,474.BETN digestibility (%) P0: 67.86 ± 68.07 P1: 71.32 ± 55.42 P2: 74.83 ± 68.48 P3: 75.96 ± 34.98. Energydigestibility (%) P0: 66.46 ± 61.10, P1: 69.25 ± 65.69, P2: 73.89 ± 69.95 P3: 74.48 ± 34.62. Statistical analysisshowed that the experiment was not significant (P>0.05) on the average energy consumption and digestibilityand BETN. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai level pemberian pakan menggunakan silase batangpisang terhadap konsumsi serta kecernaan Energi dan BETN pada penggemukan sapi bali. Subyek dalampenelitian yaitu 12 ekor sapi jantan berumur antara 1,5 tahun dengan berat badan berkisar antara 80,5-97 kg danberat rata-rata 89,4 kg. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkaap dengan empat perlakuandan tiga ulangan (P0, P1, P2, dan P3). P0 terdiri dari 80% konsentrat dan 20% silase, P1 terdiri dari 70%konsentrat dan 30% silase, P2 terdiri dari 60% konsentrat dan 40% silase, dan P3 terdiri dari 50% konsentrat dan50% silase. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of using chicory (Brassica pekinensia L.) waste silage in rations on the performance and efficiency of grower pig rations. Twelve landrance breed pigs aged 3-4 months with an initial body weight of 28-52 kg, average 36 kg (KV = 17.72%), were used in this study. Experiment method a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications this study used. The treatments were R0: 100% Basal Rations (BR); R1: 90% BR+10% Chicory Waste Silage (CWS); R2: 85%RB+ 15% CWS; R3: 80% RB+20% CWS. The variables studied were ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and ration efficiency. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the performance and efficiency of the pig rations in the study. It was concluded that the use of chicory waste silage 10%, 15% and 20% in the ration had the same effect on ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and ration efficiency. Chicory waste silage can replace up to 20% of basal feed.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of substitution of kume grass silage with corn fodder on the blood profile of male kacang goats. Using 3 male kacang goats aged 11-12 months with a body weight of 12-15 kg. This study used a Latin square design (RBSL) with 3 treatments for 3 periods. treatment given FCG0: 70% Kume grass silage + 30% concentrate; FCG1: 35% Kume grass silage + 35% corn fodder + 30% concentrate; FCG2: 20% Kume grass silage + 50% corn fodder + 30% concentrate. Blood parameters measured included Hemoglobin, PCV, Leukocytes and Erythrocytes. The collected data was processed by analysis of variance and continued with the Least Significant Difference test. The experimental results showed an increase in each variable as measured by hemoglobin 10.28-11.44g/dl, erythrocytes 9.26-10.14 x 104cell/mm³, leukocytes 10.36-12.32 x 50 cell/mm³ /ul PCV 30.83-34.33%. Statistical test results showed that substitution with corn fodder did not affect the blood profile (P>0.05) for hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes and PCV of kacang goat. It was concluded that using kume grass silage and corn fodder in a ratio of 35:35 and 20:50 could be used in male kacang goat rations.

Abstract

The purpose of the experiment was to determine the effect of complete silage-based feeding of a mixture of sorghum and gamal leaves with concentrates at different levels on crude protein, total digestibility of nutrients and digestible energy in local female goats. This experiment used 4 female local goats aged 6-8 months in the range of body weight of 11-15 kg with an average of 12.88 kg and a coefficient variation of 6.74%. The experimental method, the experimental method uses Latin Square Design (LSD) with 4 treatments and 4 periods as a repeat consisting of P0 = 80% silage + 20% concentrate, P1 = 70% silage + 30% concentrate, P2= 60% silage + 40% concentrate, P3= 50% silage + 50% concentrate. Mean crude protein (g/e/h) P0: 56.15; P1: 60.93; P2: 50.71; P3: 43.64; total nutrient digestibility (%) P0: 56.87; P1: 65.64, P2: 64.03; P3: 48.22; and digestible energy (kcal/e/h) P0: 1396.35; P1: 1521.31; P2:1231.45; P3:1063.87. The results of the variety analysis showed that the treatment had no real effect (P>0.05) on digested crude protein, TDN and digestible energy. It was concluded that the feeding of complete silage-based mixed sorghum and gamal leaves with concentrate at a ratio of 80:20 gave the same results with a higher ratio of concentrate in local female goats to digested crude protein, digested energy and TDN.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh level penggunaan premix dalam pakan komplit mengandung limbah isi rumen fermentasi terhadap kadar kolesterol hemoglobin dan trigliserida darah sapi bali jantan bakalan. Penelitian ini memggunakan 4 ekor sapi bali jantan pada kisaran umur 1-1,5 tahun dengan kisaran berat badan 69-74 kg dengan rataan 72.87 kg. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode experiment, menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Adapun perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: P0 : Pakan komplit mengandung limbah isi rumen tanpa premix (kontrol), P1 : Pakan komplit mengandung limbah isi rumen + 0,5% premix, P2 : Pakan komplit mengandung limbah isi rumen + 1,0% premix, P3 : Pakan komplit mengandung limbah isi rumen + 1,5%  premix. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam atau sidik ragam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kadar kolesterol darah (mg/dl) P0; 161,91±2,9, P1; 164,88±4,4, P2; 168,12±7,1, P3; 167,06±5,4, kadar hemoglobin darah (g/dl) P0; 11,11±0,4, P1; 10,99±0,6, P2; 10,91±0,7, P3; 10,78±0,6, kadar trigliserida darah (mg/dl) P0; 70,74±3,4, P1; 72,59±3,7, P2; 72,80±3,1, P3; 72,14±2,8. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (p>0,05) terhadap kadar kolesterol, hemolobin dan trigliserida darah pada sapi Bali jantan bakalan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penambahan premix dengan level yang berbeda dalam pakan komplit mengandung limbah isi rumen sapi fermentasi, memberikan pengaruh yang sama p>0.05 antar perlakuan terhadap kadar kolesterol, haemoglobin dan trigliserida darah sapi bali jantan bakalan

Abstract

Perkembangan usaha ternak babi di Nusa Tenggara Timur tidak di imbangi dengan pengolahan limbah peternakan yang baik. Pengelolaan limbah peternakan yang kurang baik dapat mencemari lingkungan, menjadi sarang penyakit dan berpotensi menicu konflik sosial. Kegiatan pelatihan bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalah limbah peternakan babi yang di hadapi para peternak dengan pengelolaan menjadi pupuk bokashi untuk meningkatkan nilai guna, serta meningkatkan keterampilan lunak dan keterampilan teknis di Desa Ponain, Kecamatan Amarasi, Kabupaten Kupang. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah serta ekperimen langsung yang melibatkan peternak. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 25 peternak babi. Evaluasi terhadap kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan pre-test terdiri dari 15 soal, yang dilaksanakan sebelum kegiatan dimulai, dan post-test yang dilaksanakan setelah kegiatan selesai. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat tentang dampak buruk dari limbah peternakan yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dan pentingnya pengolahan limbah peternakan babi menajdi pupuk bokashi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan ekonomi peternak. Hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan pada 25 peternak menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan tertinggi terdapat pada kemampuan menilai kualitas pupuk bokashi (88%), yang menunjukkan pemahaman peserta dalam mengenali ciri-ciri pupuk yang berhasil.
