Abstract

Active growth and development monitoring for early detection growth gaps (malnutrition or poor nutritional status, short children), developmental growth gaps (speech delays) and mental and emotional distortions of children (concentration disorders and hyperactivity). The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about normal toddler growth and development, educate mothers about the importance of stimulating toddler growth and development. A survey conducted by the Community Service team, especially mothers with young children, said the lack of education was caused by the posyandu, especially in terms of toddler growth and development. How to spread this service with discussions, questions and answers, and checking the weight of toddlers. The service is carried out at the Connectrejo Village Hall with secondary targets for mothers who have toddlers. After the counseling activities, participants understand how to monitor the growth and development of toddlers and can monitor the ideal weight of toddlers.

Abstract

The free mass circumcision social service activity held at Sunan Giri University Surabaya is a cross-sector collaboration initiative to commemorate the August people's party. This activity aims to improve public health, especially among children, by providing quality and free medical services. Involving various parties, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and local communities, this activity not only educates the public about the importance of reproductive health, but also strengthens social solidarity. In its implementation, this activity succeeded in attracting active participation from the surrounding community, creating awareness of the importance of children's health and welfare, and fostering a spirit of mutual cooperation. The results of this activity are expected to be a model for similar initiatives in the future, as well as providing long-term positive impacts on public health in the area

Abstract

The implementation of promoting circumcision practices, the method used in the activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. This ABCD method emphasizes community assets and strengths compared to their needs or problems. The mass circumcision counseling program "Ceria: Healthy Steps Towards the Future" at the Sunan Giri University Surabaya (Unsuri) campus seeks to increase students' knowledge about the importance of reproductive health. In addition to discussing circumcision practices, this activity also teaches participants about the importance of circumcision from a religious perspective and health benefits. Although this program has had many beneficial impacts, some groups still have difficulty understanding and participating, and they continue to have concerns about its safety and effectiveness. As a result, this counseling is a valuable forum to discuss health issues, foster community cohesion, and raise awareness of the importance of reproductive health prevention. The success of this program is expected to be a stepping stone for broader health programs in the future and inspire children to actively participate in preserving their environment and health.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi di era digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor kesehatan. Salah satu inovasi yang menjadi sorotan adalah implementasi sistem rekam medis elektronik (Electronic Medical Record/EMR) yang menawarkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan data pasien. Sistem ini menggantikan rekam medis konvensional berbasis kertas, memberikan kemudahan akses informasi medis bagi tenaga kesehatan, dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Namun, bersamaan dengan manfaat tersebut, muncul tantangan kritis terkait privasi dan keamanan data pasien, terutama di tengah meningkatnya ancaman siber seperti peretasan dan kebocoran data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas perlindungan hukum terhadap privasi data pasien dalam sistem rekam medis elektronik di Indonesia. Penelitian juga akan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dan memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan privasi data pasien. Permasalahan utama dalam perlindungan hukum terhadap privasi data pasien dalam sistem EMR terletak pada tingginya kerentanan data terhadap ancaman keamanan digital, yang dapat menyebabkan dampak serius seperti pelanggaran privasi, diskriminasi, hingga kerugian sosial dan ekonomi bagi pasien. Data pasien yang disimpan secara elektronik mencakup informasi sensitif seperti riwayat kesehatan, diagnosa, dan pengobatan, yang jika disalahgunakan atau mengalami kebocoran dapat memengaruhi kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap sistem kesehatan. Implementasi perlindungan hukum ini masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti lemahnya infrastruktur keamanan teknologi di banyak institusi kesehatan, rendahnya kesadaran tenaga kesehatan, dan lemahnya pengawasan serta penegakan hukum terhadap pelanggaran privasi data pasien.

Abstract

Health problems among students at Al Maksum Elementary School, Balunganyar Village, Lekok District, are still a concern due to a lack of knowledge and awareness of Clean and Healthy Living Practices (PHBS). This condition increases the risk of diseases that interfere with children's learning and growth and development. This research aims to improve student health through the socialization and implementation of PHBS using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involves students, teachers and health workers in planning, implementation and evaluation. Socialization includes education about personal hygiene, hand washing, cleanliness of the school environment, and the importance of healthy food. Direct practice is also carried out to strengthen the implementation of PHBS. As a result, there has been an increase in students' understanding and changes in behavior, with higher awareness of personal and environmental hygiene, as well as discipline in implementing PHBS. As a result, student health improves, health complaints decrease, and attendance increases. It is hoped that this activity will be carried out in a sustainable manner by involving parents and the community to create a supporting environment and maintain the sustainability of PHBS implementation.

Abstract

The public grave cleaning activity in Balunganyar Village was carried out to welcome Haul Bujuk Sorat, aiming to improve the cleanliness, comfort and tidiness of the grave area. Through the PAR method, this activity involves various elements of society with a method that includes initial preparation stages, division of tasks, implementation, rest and consumption, closing, as well as reporting and documentation. The results of the activity showed that effective coordination between the committee, community leaders and participants supported the smooth running of all stages. Active community participation reflects strong support for this program, which has a positive impact on the cleanliness and tidiness of graves, as well as strengthening social and religious values ​​in the community. The resulting long-term impacts include increasing a sense of togetherness, awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness, and preserving local traditions. Evaluation of the activity showed high community enthusiasm, with suggestions that this activity be held regularly for the sake of sustainable benefits for Balunganyar Village.

Abstract

Important conceptual activities are carried out to deal with the environmental crisis by preserving the environment through reforestation. The condition of developing areas and the changing function of space for development requires the concept of greening. Humans are one of the determining factors for efforts to preserve the environment while having the role and responsibility of empowering environmental wealth for the survival of the ecosystem. The purpose of this community service activity is to revive natural aesthetics, trees as air fresheners, and flood mitigation. Community service with greening efforts to preserve the environment uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method as a basis. The results obtained include the creation of a fresh, healthy, and cool atmosphere, nature becomes maintained and clean, and the addition of new knowledge to do reforestation through planting tree seedlings.

Abstract

Electronic medical record (EMR) data breaches have become an increasingly significant issue in healthcare, as the use of digital technology for patient data management rises. EMRs provide healthcare professionals with faster and more efficient access to patient information. However, this convenience also introduces the risk of data breaches, which could harm patients. This article aims to explore the legal responsibilities of healthcare facilities in managing EMR data breaches and the consequences resulting from such breaches. The research employs a qualitative approach and literature review, analyzing various legal regulations, legislation, and case studies of data breaches. The findings indicate that while legal protections exist, there are still significant challenges in implementing effective data security systems in healthcare facilities. Therefore, enhancing oversight, security systems, and legal awareness among stakeholders is essential to prevent data breaches that could cause significant harm to multiple parties.

Wedoro Village is one of the villages that maintains the Development and Marketing of Production Results in the Manufacture of sandals so that there are increasing sandal craftsmen who are always developing in this technological era. The method of implementing this service uses SWOT analysis, with the stages: preparation, implementation of activities, and evaluation. The target of this activity is all Sandal Craftsmen in Wdoro Waru, Sidoarjo. Supervisors carry out the role of guiding according to the expertise of their respective departments. Abstract

Consumer protection law reflects the responsibility of the state in ensuring fairness and justice between business actors and consumers. This study analyzes and compares the historical, social, political, economic, and constitutional factors underlying the formation of consumer protection law in Indonesia and the Philippines.. The results indicate Both nations demonstrate that consumer protection laws serve not only as legal instruments but also as reflections of social transformation and state accountability.
