Abstract

Ethical and moral education for children is a long-term investment to form a generation with character in the future, so it is necessary to instill the formation of ethics and morals in children from an early age, whether at school, at home, in the environment and society and so on. Therefore, this research was carried out as a strategy to instill ethical and moral education in young children, especially nowadays at the An Nur Medan orphanage. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques carried out by means of literature study by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to research. This research produces several strategies that can be used to instill ethical and moral education, namely through routine activities such as praying together before eating, then through spontaneous activities, for example giving advice or understanding to children who give and receive using their left hand, and finally through activities. "Role model", in this case the adult plays a direct role as an example for the child. The conclusion of this research is that basically providing moral education from an early age can help children have a positive attitude, respect every other human being and make morals an inseparable bond for every child as they grow and develop into adulthood.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe declarative speech in the film "Check the School Store". The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is the speech in the film “Cek Toko Sekolah”. The data collection techniques used were the listening technique, the skill-free listening technique (SBLC), and the note-taking technique. The data analysis used in the research is a pragmatic equivalent method. The results and discussion in this research are, in the entire content of the film "Check the School Store" there are 21 declarative speech sentences. These speech sentences are scenes and characters that use declarative statements to emphasize their position or opinion, thereby strengthening the message they want to convey

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan hak merga silima di suku Karo, terkait pernikahan semarga pada kelompok Sembiring. Suku Karo terdiri dari 5 marga yaitu Ginting, Karo-karo, Tarigan, Perangin-angin dan Sembiring. Pernikahan semarga pada suku Karo ini hanya diperbolehkan pada kelompok marga Sembiring saja keempat marga lainnya tidak diperbolehkan. Pernikahan semarga pada Sembiring sangatlah dilarang. Akan tetapi, kelompok  marga Sembiring dalam hal ini memiliki hak yang berbeda karena pernikahan semarga dalam kelompok Sembiring sudah sejak zaman dahulu diperbolehkan serta bukan sesuatu yang tabu bagi kelompok marga lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menginvestigasi dan memahami permasalahannya, teknik yang dilakukan dalam mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan sumber datanya dari narasumber yang ber etnis Karo.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental right for every individual, including Children with Special Needs (CSN) such as speech-impaired and physically disabled children. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the role of family and education in supporting CSN, based on narratives from Denny Sumargo’s podcast. Data collection techniques include observation, transcription, and literature review. The findings reveal that the family plays a crucial role in building self-confidence, providing emotional support, and ensuring equitable access to education for CSN. Additionally, an adaptive inclusive education system contributes significantly to the optimal development of CSN. These findings emphasize the importance of synergy between families and educational institutions in creating a supportive environment for CSN
