Abstract

This research discusses the role of information technology in the modernization of public administration. Information technology has become a major driver in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of public services through the automation of administrative processes and e-government systems. In addition, information technology supports transparency and accountability by facilitating public access to information and public services digitally. Data-based decision making is also enhanced by information technology, enabling more accurate and evidence-based public policy. However, the implementation of information technology in public administration faces challenges such as data security, digital divide, and changes in work culture. The results of this research conclude that modernization of public administration through information technology offers great potential for improving the quality of public services and more responsive government governance. Recommendations include investments in data security, reducing the digital divide, staff training, continuous monitoring, multi-sectoral collaboration, and developing innovation to maximize the benefits of information technology in public administration.

Abstract

Currently, the involvement of MSMEs in the economic development process is very rapid, considering that their level of productivity must continue to be developed alongside large businesses. MSMEs contribute to labor absorption on average by 96.66% of the total national workforce, while large businesses only contribute an average of 3.32% to the national workforce. The high ability of MSMEs to create employment opportunities indicates that MSMEs have considerable potential to be developed throughout the country. However, on the other hand, MSMEs have many obstacles, namely limited working capital, low human resources, and lack of mastery of science and technology. Providing information and market networks, easy access to funding, assistance and increasing information technology capacity are efforts to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian MSMEs. Teluk Karya Village needs technology in the midst of globalization. Most of the problems faced are product marketing and their human resource knowledge is still lacking.
