Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada rendahnya peran aktif peserta didik Tunadaksa fase F pada pembelajaran Sosiologi, yang berdampak pada kurang optimalnya proses serta hasil belajarnya. Permasalahan ini terlihat dari kurangnya respon pesertadidik saat diberikan pertanyaan atau mengajukan pertanyaan. Maka dari itu diperlukan adanya inovasi pembelajaran denganmenggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar pesrta didik, salah satunya metode yang dapat diterapkan yaitu metode Project Based Learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh metode Project Based Learning dalam meningkatkan peran aktif pesertadidik tunadaksa fase F dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dengan dua siklus, yang diantaranya yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu tiga pesertadidik tunadaksa fase F di SLB Negeri 1 Makassar. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Siklus pertama PTK dilaksanakan pada 17 September 2024, dan siklus kedua pada 24 September 2024. Pada siklus pertama, peran aktif pesertadidik cukup meningkat. Setelah itu, pada siklus kedua pesertadidik menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan yaitu berperan aktif dan antusias selama proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This study examines fine motor skills in spastic type cerebral palsy students by providing kirigami activities as a stimulus to train movements on stiff fingers at SLB Negeri 1 Maros. The problem formulations of this research are: (1) What is the description of the improvement of fine motor skills before the application of kirigami activities in cerebral palsy students. (2) What is the description of the improvement of fine motor skills after the application of kirigami activities for cerebral palsy students. (3) Is there an effect of kirigami activities on improving fine motor skills in cerebral palsy students. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine fine motor skills before the application of kirigami activities in cerebral palsy students. (2) To determine fine motor skills after the application of kirigami activities in cerebral palsy students. (3) To determine whether there is an effect of kirigami activities on improving fine motor skills in cerebral palsy students. This research approach is quantitative research with descriptive research type. With Kirigami Activities can increase Fine Motor Skills in Cerebral Palsy Students. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistics and displayed graphs. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of Kirigami activities on improving fine motor skills in cerebral palsy students in Class III at SLB Negeri 1 Maros.

Abstract

Deaf children in Indonesia are more vulnerable to sexual abuse due to communication difficulties and a lack of knowledge about self-protection concepts. This community service programme aims to raise awareness about the prevention of sexual violence through a visual media and sign language-based education programme for deaf students at SLB-B YPPLB Makassar. Fifteen children and teachers took part in a one-day interactive training and socialisation activity involving a visual approach, sign language and hands-on practice. Pre- and post-test evaluation techniques showed a significant improvement in students' understanding, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 3.5 to 10.7. Topics covered in the learning materials included identifying private body parts, recognising safe and unsafe touch, the different forms of sexual abuse (verbal, physical and digital) and reporting techniques. The main challenge lies in the insufficient involvement of parents and teachers. Continuous collaboration between schools, families and the community is necessary to achieve long-term results. This programme demonstrates the effectiveness of visual and sign language-based approaches in teaching deaf children about preventing sexual violence.
