Abstract

The policies of Harun Ar-Rashid and Al-Ma'mun in the development of Islamic education during the Abbasid Caliphate were very influential on the progress of science. Harun Ar-Rashid established the Baitul Hikmah in Baghdad, which became a centre for translation and scientific research from various civilisations. This opened up access to Greek, Persian and Indian scholarly texts, enriching the Islamic scholarship. Meanwhile, Al-Ma'mun expanded and strengthened the Baitul Hikmah, and encouraged translation and scholarship more aggressively. Problems encountered included tensions between the conservative views of traditional scholars and new scientific ideas that were perceived to threaten religious beliefs. In addition, limited funds and skilled human resources also posed challenges to the wider dissemination of education. The policies of the two caliphs led to the Golden Age of Islam, where knowledge flourished and became the foundation for the advancement of civilisation. However, this success also required a balance between innovation and conservatism to maintain harmony in a diverse society.

Abstract

Rural communities in general can read the Quran without spelling it out. However, they still pay less attention to Tajweed, starting from the length, the nature of the letters, and the makhorijul of the letters, also due to the lack of attention from parents and the surrounding community. And in TPA, those who have studied Tajweed Science have not been able to apply it to the readings they read, plus there are still small children who are not able to distinguish one letter from another so they need special attention. This mentoring method uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, which is research by identifying a problem in the field, then entering an action as an answer or solution to the problem that has been identified. Initial Identification activities with in-depth interviews with TPA teachers. Then continued to the Problem Solving stage by collecting data and information from parents regarding obstacles to learning tajwid, and the last stage is Action As Solution, namely creating reading activities using correct tajwid and mentoring in the form of coaching and training guidance for the community, especially children. The results of this service are that children can read the Koran fluently and use correct tajwid.

Abstract

Marrriage is the initial process of forming a harmonious family. However, marriage also Marriage requires preparation and conditions so that problems do not arise in the future. One of them concerns the issue of age or what is called Early Marriage. Early Marriage is controversial among society because each perspective has a different view. The impact of early marriage is not only a high divorce rate due to incompatibility between partners, but also domestic violence (KDRT), infidelity, and complications that occur during pregnancy which causes a high risk of maternal and child mortality. In the Islamic view, early marriage can have a positive impact, namely preventing adultery. According to the view of the Shafi'i School, a marriage can be carried out if the bride is of age and her parents ask for their daughter's consent so that there is no feeling of coercion when the marriage takes place. This can be used as a reference for parents who want to marry off their children even though they are still at an early age. Not only parents, but teenagers who want to get married at a young age also need to think about and prepare for all possibilities so that problems do not occur that cause the breakdown of a household.
