Abstract

Abstract Background: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or more familiar with autism is a disorder in the areas of cognitive, emotional, social behavior and social interaction. This disorder makes it difficult for children to carry out daily activities independently, especially personal hygiene. The impact is the occurrence of cavities, bad breath and dental caries. As an effort to reduce this impact is to improve the skills of brushing teeth. One of them is through a dental and oral hygiene counseling program with various simulation methods using audiovisual media. The methods include: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, and Lovass' techniques. Objective: To determine the effect of counseling on dental and oral hygiene through the audiovisual media simulation method on the level of tooth brushing skills in autistic children. Method: The research design uses a literature review from various data sources: Sinta, Google Scholar, Pubmed, DOAJ, and Research Gate. The strategy used in the article search was using PICOS, with the keywords: autism OR autism AND brushing skills OR brushing skills AND oral hygiene counseling OR oral hygiene's counseling, with free full text screening. Results: Based on the search results obtained 670 journals, with 5 articles according to the inclusion criteria. The results of a review of 5 research articles showed a significant increase in tooth brushing skills in autistic children from intervention with simulation methods and audiovisual media. Conclusion: Counseling on oral and dental hygiene through audiovisual media simulation methods with several technique approaches (Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, and Lovass') can improve tooth brushing skills in autistic children. Abstrak Latar Belakang: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) atau yang lebih familiar dengan sebutan autis adalah suatu gangguan pada area kognitif, emosi, perilaku sosial dan interaksi sosial. Gangguan ini membuat anak kesulitan dalam melakukan aktifitas sehari-hari secara mandiri terutama personal hygiene. Dampaknya adalah terjadinya gigi berlubang, bau mulut dan karies gigi. Sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi dampak tersebut ialah dengan meningkatkan keterampilan menggosok gigi. Salah satunya melalui program penyuluhan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dengan berbagai metode simulasi menggunakan media audiovisual. Adapun metode tersebut antara lain: teknik Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, serta Lovass’. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan tentang kebersihan gigi dan mulut melalui metode simulasi media audiovisual terhadap tingkat keterampilan menyikat gigi pada anak autis. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan Literature review dari berbagai sumber data: Sinta, Google Scholar, Pubmed, DOAJ, dan Research Gate. Strategi yang digunakan dalam pencarian artikel menggunakan PICOS, dengan keyword: autis OR autism AND keterampilan menyikat gigi OR brushing skills AND penyuluhan kebersihan gigi mulut OR oral hygiene’s counselling, dengan penyaringan free full text. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pencarian didapatkan 670 jurnal, dengan 5 artikel sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Hasil telaah dari 5 artikel penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan keterampilan menyikat gigi pada anak autis dari intervensi dengan metode simulasi dan media audiovisual. Simpulan: Penyuluhan kebersihan gigi dan mulut melalui metode simulasi media audiovisual dengan pendekatan beberapa teknik (Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, serta Lovass’) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyikat gigi pada anak autis. Abstract

Background: Aging processes in the elderly lead to degenerative diseases, one of them being essential hypertension. The elderly with hypertension often complain about sleeping problems, difficulty staying awake, often waking up in the middle of the night, and later difficulty going back to sleep, waking up too early, and sleeping poorly. Treatment of sleeping problems may include pharmacology and non-pharmacology. One nonpharmacological treatment was a complementary therapy called foot massage with Swedish techniques. The purpose is to determine the effect of Swedish foot massage therapy on sleep quality in the elderly with essential hypertension. Method: Literature Review. Data Sources: Science Direct, Springer Nature, Hindawi, Researchgate, and Sinta. The research method used is Literature Review with the PICO Analyst method (Problem, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome) from 2011 to 2021 with the keywords "Swedish foot massage" AND "sleep quality" AND "hypertension". Based on the purpose of this study, the researcher reviewed 256 articles, and 251 were excluded. Results: Based on the results of the analysis of 5 journals, the duration of the research intervention varies widely, ranging from 2 days to 1 month. The average frequency of an intervention is 1-2 times a day. The duration of each meeting ranges from 20-40 minutes. Conclusions: Based on the results of the analysis of 5 journals, the intervention of Swedish foot massage therapy significantly improves the sleep quality of hypertensive patients. The researchers recommend Swedish foot massage therapy to improve the quality of sleep for people with essential hypertension.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dilaksanakan pada era new normal pasca pandemi Covid-19. Metode pembelajaran ini menimbulkan banyak kendala yang dialami oleh siswa sehingga mengakibatkan stres. Stres akademik terjadi dimana siswa tidak dapat menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan menganggap tuntutan akademik tersebut sebagai gangguan. Dampak dari stres akademik yang meningkat adalah menurunnya kualitas tidur. Kualitas tidur yang buruk berhubungan erat dengan konsentrasi belajar yang berdampak pada prestasi akademik yang rendah. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres akademik dengan kualitas tidur remaja kelas IX MTs N 7 Bantul di era new normal. Metode: merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 70 siswa kelas IX MTs N 7 Bantul yang diambil menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan Student-life Stress Inventory (SSI) dan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Uji normalitas data menggunakan uji Kolmogrov-Smirnov, sedangkan uji statistik menggunakan uji Spearman’s Rho. Hasil dan simpulan: tingkat stres siswa kategori rendah 46 siswa (70,8%) dan sedang 19 siswa (29,2%) dan kualitas tidur baik 46 siswa (70,8%), kurang 10 siswa (15,4%), dan sangat kurang 9 siswa (13,8%). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai signifikan sebesar p value 0,007 (p value <0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r= 0,000). Terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara tingkat stres akademik dengan kualitas tidur siswa kelas IX MTs N 7 Bantul. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi stres siswa, maka semakin rendah kualitas tidurnya.

Abstract

Aims: This study aims to analyze the relationship between the social support of parents and the preparedness for menarche in adolescents. Methods: This research uses quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted at the Islamic Centre Binbaz Elementary High School. The sample consisted of 50 respondents using the total sampling techniques. The instruments used were the social support questionnaire of parents and the preparedness for menarche. Bivariate analysis used the Spearman rho test. Result: Parental support for menstruation in the negative category of 31 people (62%) and preparedness for menarche in female adolescents is as high as 35 people (70%). There is a relationship between social support of parents with menarche readiness with a p-value of 0.024 and a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.320. Discussions: In reproductive health, especially regarding menarche, parents are expected to communicate better with their children about puberty issues, because it helps ensure healthy child sexuality. Focusing on building communication between parents and children, is an effective strategy for increasing overall support for children's health. Parental support in preparing children for menarche includes being an educator who provides complete and correct information about menstruation, maintaining hygiene during menstruation, and both physical and mental support when facing menarche. Conclusion: This research indicates a relationship between parental social support and readiness for menarche in adolescents, with a weak correlation level and a positive correlation. This means that adolescents who have high parental support have a higher preparedness for menarche.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Salah satu sasaran pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia yakni menurunkan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) sebesar 24 per 1000 kelahiran hidup. Perawatan bayi yang baik dan benar dapat mencegah bayi dari penyakit dan menjaga bayi tetap sehat. Mother-Baby Care (M-BC) adalah pendekatan yang dilakukan perawat untuk memberikan dukungan emosional kepada keluarga baru. Perawatan bayi baru lahir meliputi: memandikan bayi, merawat tali pusat, membedong bayi dan memberikan ASI. Tidak semua ibu postpartum memiliki pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kemampuan yang memadai dalam perawatan bayi secara mandiri. Tujuan: mengetahui efektivitas model “Mother-baby Care” M-BC dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ibu postpartum. Metode: metode kuantitatif quasy exsperimental design dengan pendekatan one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil yang rutin ANC di Klinik Pratama Gemilang Medika, Monggang, Sitimulyo, Piyungan, Bantul. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 7 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi: 1) ibu hamil trimester III rutin ANC dan melahirkan di Klinik Pratama Gemilang Medika; 2) Ibu dan bayi yang dilahirkan tidak memiliki masalah kesehatan; kriteria eksklusi: 1) bayi lahir prematur (< 37 minggu) dan BBLR (<2500 gram). Instrumen yang digunakan: kuesioner pengetahuan dan SOP perawatan bayi baru lahir. Data dianalisis menggunakan paired t test. Hasil dan simpulan: mayoritas usia ibu 30 – 35 tahun sejumlah 3 orang (42.9%), pendidikan terakhir SMA yakni 3 orang (42.9%), dan pekerjaan mayoritas sebagai Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) sejumlah 4 orang (57.2%). Nilai rerata pretest 55,29 dan posttest 74.28, dengan p value 0.001. Terdapat pengaruh intervensi model M-BC dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ibu postpartum.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Anak usia pra sekolah (3 – 6 tahun) mengalami proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang pesat. Salah satu aspek perkembangan anak adalah motorik halus, dimana anak mengembangkan kemampuan gerak dan koordinasi tubuh. Gangguan ini akan berdampak pada perkembangan tahap berikutnya, menurunkan percaya diri, dan sulit beradaptasi dengan lingkungan. Terapi bermain menggunakan media plastisin diharapkan mampu mengatasi masalah tersebut. Tujuan: mengetahui efektivitas terapi bermain plastisin dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan motorik halus anak usia prasekolah. Metode: metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasy exsperimental pendekatan one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 35 anak usia prasekolah di TK ABA KKN Srandakan Bantul yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan: plastisin, SOP terapi bermain plastisin, dan formulir Denver Development Skrining Test/ DDST II. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil: mayoritas anak berjenis kelamin laki-laki sejumlah 22 orang (62,85%), usia 6 tahun yakni 18 orang (51,42%), mayoritas pretest kategori suspect 22 orang (62.85%) dan mayoritas posttest kategori normal 31 orang (88.56%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan p value 0.000. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh intervensi terapi bermain plastisin dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia prasekolah.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Siklus menstruasi adalah jarak antara tanggal mulainya menstruasi yang lalu dengan mulainya menstruasi berikutnya. Kejadian gangguan siklus menstruasi terjadi pada remaja usia 16 tahun sebanyak 38,4% dan berlanjut hingga usia 26 tahun sebanyak 29,7%. Masalah gizi kurang, anemia defisiensi besi, dan obesitas dapat mempengaruhi sistem produksi hormon yang berkaitan dengan menstruasi. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi dengan siklus menstruasi pada siswi SMK Gagas Wanareja Cilacap. Metodologi: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan studi cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswi SMK Gagas Wanareja cilacap, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 35 orang. Pengumpulan data siklus menstruasi diperoleh dengan pengisian kuesioner sementara status gizi diperoleh dengan mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan. Data dianalisis menggunakan korelasi Spearman. Hasil dan simpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sejumlah 20 siswi (57,14%) mengalami siklus menstruasi normal dan 19 siswi (54,29%) memiliki status gizi normal. Terdapat hubungan antara status gizi dengan siklus menstruasi pada siswi di SMK Gagas Wanareja Cilacap.

Abstract

Abstract Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan guru Kelompok bermain (KB) yang tidak mengetahui cara deteksi dini anak dengan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan menggunakan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra melalui solusi pelatihan Stimulasi, Deteksi dan Intervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang (SDIDTK) dengan pendekatan Islami dan berbasis aplikasi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan SDIDTK, penerapan teknologi aplikasi telenursing SDIDTK, pendampingan dan evaluasi SDIDTK serta keberlanjutan program. Hasil pelatihan didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan (rata-rata sebelum pelatihan 84,36 dan rata-rata setelah pelatihan 88,36) dan ketrampilan (rata-rata sebelum pelatihan 50 dan rata-rata setelah pelatihan 89,83) guru dalam melakukan SDIDTK. AbstractThis activity was carried out as a solution to the problem of playgroup teachers who do not know how to early detect children with growth and development disorders using valid and reliable instruments. The purpose of this activity is to solve partner problems through training solutions for Stimulation, Detection and Early Intervention of Growth and Development (SDIDTK) with an Islamic and application-based approach. The implementation method includes socialization, SDIDTK training, application of SDIDTK telenursing application technology, SDIDTK mentoring and evaluation and program sustainability. The training results obtained an increase in knowledge (average before training 84.36 and average after training 88.36) and skills (average before training 50 and average after training 89.83) of teachers in conducting SDIDTK.

Abstract

Aims: to characterize sexual behavior of teenagers with intellectual disability in Bantul, Yogyakarta. Design: Cross sectional study with qualitative approach using phenomenology. Methods: Data were collected using in-depth interview according to structured interview guidelines and observation sheet. Subjects were 2 teachers and 5 students in SLB Negeri 1 Bantul that were selected using purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using inductive method and Colaizzi’s synthesis method. All analyses were performed in Open Code version 3.6.2.0. Results: Teenagers with intellectual disability comprehend sexuality as touching prohibition between men and women. Adultery indicator was assessed by the presence of nocturnal emission in men or menstruation in women. Some sexual behavior that was shown by teenagers with intellectual disability are holding hands, hugging, masturbation in men and sexual intercourse. Degree of sexual behavior was depended on disability severity. Conclusions: Sexual behavior was rise due to desire in teenager with intellectual disability. Pornographic video, accessed from cell phone, was strong stimulus that impact sexual behavior. Controlling negative sexual behavior through religion and norm, music and outdoor activity were used by teacher.

Abstract

Children who were hospitalized in 2017 were 3.21% with the percentage of school-age children 47.62%. Hospital is a planned or emergency process where children are required to undergo treatment at the hospital. The reaction of child hospitalization varies, depending on the stage of development, previous illness experiences, support systems, and the children's coping abilities. One of the stressors of pediatric hospitalization is the complexity of the therapeutic procedures provided by nurses and medical teams. The study aims to play therapy as one method in reducing anxiety and increasing children's cooperation during undergoing treatment procedures. The research method was Pre-Experimental Research with One Group Pretest-Posttest approach. A sample of 20 children was with a simple random sampling technique. The study was conducted in April-September 2019 in the Children's Ward of Yogyakarta City Public Hospital. Inclusion criteria: children were first admitted to the hospital on the first or second day; children aged 7-12 years; had no physical disabilities, cognitive and language disorders; had sufficient physical ability to take part in the game. The results of data analysis using paired t-test obtained p value<0.001 with a pretest value of 16.55 ± 6.88 and post-test 26.45 ± 1.79. The conclusion of the research shows that there is an effect of giving Bibliotherapy and Snake-Ladder Game Therapy in increasing the cooperative level of children in undergoing nursing actions during hospitalization. Researchers recommend this play therapy as one of the permanent procedures for independent nursing actions in each child's ward.
