Abstract

The research aimed to produce empirical evidence about the validity and reliability of subjective well-being instruments by modifying the instruments. The research’s subjects were 394 early adolescent respondents ranging in age from 12-13 years old in Sleman regency, Yogyakarta, using a random sampling technique. The validity of subjective well-being instruments was measured by using expert judgment and calculating Gregory’s formula. Instrument reliability was measured by Cronbach’s Alpha calculation. The results show that the subjective wellbeing instrument in the modified early adolescents has good validity and reliability so that the modification of this instrument can be used to measure the condition of subjective well-being in early adolescents in Indonesia.

Abstract

Psychological well-being adalah indikator penting dalam menilai tingkat kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan individu secara menyeluruh. Remaja sering mengalami tantangan emosional yang signifikan karena perkembangan fisik, sosial, dan kognitif mereka yang cepat. Manajemen emosi adalah keterampilan yang penting untuk mengelola stres dan mempromosikan kesehatan mental. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini ialah ingin mengetahui peningkatan psychological well being melalui manajemen emosi pada remaja. Kegiatan ini melibatkan beberapa siswa MTs Rabithatul Ulum. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi kelompok, tugas kelompok dan presentasi dan tidak lupa dilakukan pre-test dan post-test guna melihat dampak pelatihan yang diberikan. Pelatihan ini mencakup tentang pemahaman siswa terkait emosi, masa pubertas remaja, manajemen emosi serta kaitannya dengan peningkatan psychological well-being. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan psychological well-being pada remaja pada sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan dengan perbandingan nilai rerata pretest siswa sebesar 39,60 dan pada posttest sebesar 42,33 dengan taraf signifikasi < o,o5. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan psychological well-being pada peserta sebelum dan setelah diberikan pelatihan manajemen emosi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendekatan preventif dalam meningkatkan psychological well-being remaja melalui pengembangan keterampilan manajemen emosi yang efektif.

Abstract

In order to effectively realize the company's vision and mission, one of the most important components is human resources. Employees are the most important asset in an organization so that each employee is required to work optimally based on their abilities. This research aims to measure the potential possessed by employees who take part in performance evaluations and to fulfill the self-development needs of employees at CV BM. The subject in this research was 1 person who was in the position of cutting & design coordinator. Data collection methods use psychological tests and interviews. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of the assessment show that the subject does not meet the potential standards expected in the position of cutting & design coordinator with a recommendation of "Not Recommended" and needs to be developed in the aspects of problem solving ability, leadership in groups, ability to collaborate in teams, work flexibility, emotional stability and communication. . The conclusion of the potential review assessment for the cutting & design coordinator position requires development through a coaching program, so that the subject can increase his competence and remain able to work optimally.

Abstract

This study investigates the validity and reliability of the Employee Well-Being Scale tailored for university lecturers. The scale was designed to measure the multi-dimensional aspects of well-being among academic staff. Participants included 123 full-time lecturers from various universities across Indonesia, selected through random sampling to represent diverse academic environments. Inclusion criteria required lecturers to have a minimum of two years of teaching experience and active involvement in academic activities such as teaching, research, and administrative duties. The instrument was administered via an online survey to maximize efficiency and participation. Data analysis employed Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) using SPSS software. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure confirmed sample adequacy with a value exceeding 0.5. The Anti-Image Matrix revealed sufficient Measures of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) values (>0.5) for individual variables. Total Variance Explained analysis identified the percentage of variance accounted for by extracted factors, while the Scree Plot helped determine the number of significant factors. The Rotated Component Matrix ensured that items strongly loaded onto their respective factors. Reliability testing yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.948, indicating high internal consistency. The results validate the Employee Well-Being Scale as a reliable tool for assessing well-being among university lecturers, offering robust psychometric properties for further academic and practical applications. This study contributes to the development of evidence-based measures for promoting employee well-being in the higher education sector.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi efektivitas Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) dalam meningkatkan subjective well-being pada remaja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimental dengan design pretest-posttest control group. Partisipan terdiri 30 remaja yang dipilih secara acak dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok; kelompok eksperimen yang menerima CBT selama 4 sesi dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menerima pelatihan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner subjective well-being sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Anacova untuk mengukur perbedaan antara pretest dan posttest di kedua kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala subjective well-being dari Diener dan sudah dimodifikasi dengan menyesuaikan pada karakteristik partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai sig = 0.000 ≤ α 0.05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan subjective well-being pada siswa yang diberikan pelatihan cognitive behavior therapy dengan siswa yang tidak diberikan pelatihan cognitive behavior therapy. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan cognitive behavior therapy berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan subjective well-being pada remaja. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan cognitive behavior therapy efektif dalam mengurangi pola pikir negatif, meningkatkan keterampilan koping, dan memperbaiki hubungan sosial, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan subjective well-being. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan cognitive behavior therapy dapat dianggap sebagai intervensi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan subjective well-being pada remaja. Abstract: This research aims to explore the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in improving subjective well-being in adolescents. This research method uses quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. Participants consisted of 30 teenagers who were randomly selected and divided into two groups; an experimental group that received CBT for 4 sessions and a control group that did not receive training. Data was collected using a subjective well-being questionnaire before and after training. Data analysis was carried out using the Anacova test to measure the difference between pretest and posttest in the two groups. This research uses Diener's subjective well-being scale and has been modified to adapt to the characteristics of the participants. The results of the research showed that a value of sig = 0.000 ≤ α 0.05 was obtained. This shows that there is a difference in subjective well-being between students who were given cognitive behavior therapy training and students who were not given cognitive behavior therapy training. The research results also show that cognitive behavior therapy training has a significant effect on increasing subjective well-being in adolescents. These findings indicate that cognitive behavior therapy training is effective in reducing negative thought patterns, improving coping skills, and improving social relationships, all of which contribute to increasing subjective well-being. In conclusion, cognitive behavior therapy training can be considered an effective intervention to improve subjective well-being in adolescents.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana transportasi online memengaruhi jumlah pekerjaan yang tersedia di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dengan statistik melalui SPSS Versi 25. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak transportasi online terhadap peningkatan lapangan pekerjaan. Studi ini menguji validitas dan reliabilitas, serta asumsi klasik (normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan multikolinieritas). Penelitian ini menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang tidak disengaja atau Accidental Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti membuat 17 pertanyaan berdasarkan indikator terori yang mereka gunakan. Penelitian tersebut melibatkan semua driver Gojek yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru terdiri dari 56 driver online. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Gojek berkontribusi pada penciptaan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat di Kota Pekanbaru yang sebelumnya tidak memiliki pekerjaan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa transportasi online atau Gojek, telah menjadi sumber pekerjaan baru yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan. Hasil dari kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa alasan orang bergabung menjadi driver Gojek adalah karena mereka melihat peningkatan pendapatan setelah menjadi driver Gojek. Driver Gojek dapat memperoleh pendapatan rata-rata tiga juta rupiah per bulan. Fleksibilitas juga memotivasi driver selain peluang peningkatan pendapatan. Salah satu faktor yang menarik bagi driver Gojek untuk bergabung adalah kebebasan mereka dalam mengatur waktu kerja mereka. Hal ini disebabkan karena tidak ada aturan kerja yang terlalu memberatkan driver dan fleksibilitas mereka dalam menentukan waktu kerja mereka.

Abstract

Teachers in remote schools often experience psychological stress and professional burnout due to limited resources, heavy workloads, and lack of psychosocial support, which negatively affect both teacher well-being and learning quality. This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ mental well-being and professionalism through a Tech-Based Psychosocial Mentoring Innovation, supporting SDGs 3, 4, and 8, as well as University Key Performance Indicators (IKU) 3 and 7 by empowering educators in low-resource settings. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation (needs assessment, development of the “Healthy Teacher” psychosocial module, and creation of a Google Site–based Learning Management System), implementation (three-day training on stress management, emotional regulation, and reflective mentoring), and evaluation (using the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index, daily reflections, and focus group discussions). Results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ well-being, with WHO-5 scores increasing from moderate to good levels. Teachers also reported improved stress management, higher motivation, and stronger collegial support. The program produced ten psychoeducational videos, a digital LMS, and a sustainable reflective teacher community supported by two internal mentors. Overall, this innovation effectively enhanced teachers’ psychological well-being and professionalism in remote schools and can be replicated in other rural or low-resource educational settings to promote sustainable teacher well-being and school quality improvement.
