Abstract

The 1945 Constitution and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 which regulate the National Education System since August 17, 1945 became the legal basis for the curriculum developed by the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The Juridical Education Foundation is required by Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution to organize the state education system, prioritizing the advancement of science and technology, and 20% of the APBN and APBD budgets. This type of research is known as research and development (R&D), and modifies the early stages of development research using the ADDIE paradigm (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teacher interviews, curriculum analysis, and small-scale SBdP KIT trials were used to collect data. This development research is a field test carried out in grade IV SD Negeri Tambak Boyo 02. The findings of this study show the great potential of SBdP KIT as a teaching tool that can deepen students' understanding of decoration. SBdP Kit media development can be well validated and is very feasible to use. The media trial was also very good and the response of students showed that this media was able to increase interest in learning and was able to explore student creativity.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the development of Android-based media "SI TEPAT" that can be used as an interesting learning media in elementary schools. The research method used is research and development using the Sugiyono model with several steps, namely: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and field trials. The population and samples taken were grade 1 students at 3 elementary schools in Wonoboyo District consisting of Wates State Elementary School, Kebonsari 2 Elementary School, and Semen State Elementary School. The research results show that the Android-based application SI TEPAT is very effective as a learning medium. The results obtained from the test results carried out on teachers and students showed that the teacher response was 96.33% or very appropriate and the student response was 87.61% or very appropriate. The benefits of Android-based media "SI TEPAT" can be used as a learning medium to help make it easier for students to learn Indonesian starting reading material.

Abstract

The present study’s objectives are (1) to describe the CRT-based collaborative project model of social studies and fine arts; (2) to analyse the implementation of CRT in collaborative learning; and (3) to measure the influence of projects on students' social awareness. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subject is students who take social studies and fine arts courses in the PGSD Study Program with a research location in Semarang. Data collection techniques were observation to observe the collaborative learning process, interviews to explore the experiences of students and lecturers in projects, and documentation to analyse students' artworks as learning outcomes. Questionnaires are used to measure changes in students' social consciousness. Data Analysis techniques use qualitative analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Thematic analysis is used to analyse patterns and themes in the collected data. Success Indicators are determined by increasing students' understanding of social issues through artworks based on local culture in Semarang, active participation of students in CRT-based discussions, and the existence of students' critical reflection on social reality manifested in course outputs, namely works with social issues in Semarang which are reviewed through expert lectures in an art exhibition called social art exhibition.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the representation of character education values in the animated film Riko The Series and to explain the internalization process of these values among fifth-grade students at SDN Gemah Semarang. The research is based on the importance of strengthening character education in primary schools through contextual, engaging, and easily understood media. Local animated films rich in moral messages are considered potential alternatives to support character-based learning.The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data include selected episodes of Riko The Series (episodes 3–5, Season 5), classroom teachers, and students. Data were analyzed inductively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The findings indicate that the film represents character values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, cooperation, empathy, social care, and religiosity through narratives and visuals that are relatable to children’s experiences. The internalization process occurs through film viewing sessions followed by classroom discussions, reflective activities, and teacher-led reinforcement. Students demonstrated good understanding and positive responses toward the use of visual media in learning.In conclusion, the representation of values in this film makes it an effective medium for character education, particularly in elementary school settings. The internalization process becomes more optimal when supported by continuous teacher guidance. Recommendations are addressed to teachers, students, and schools to better integrate educational films into character education strategies.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To find out students' difficulties in learning mathematics in grade 2 subtraction material at Sumbermulyo State Elementary School. (2) Identifying factors that influence mathematics learning difficulties in grade 2 subtraction material at Sumbermulyo State Elementary School. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research, with the aim of describing, explaining and answering in detail the problem of mathematics learning difficulties in subtraction material and its causes. The data analysis method in this research has three flows that occur simultaneously with data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The research results show that students face several learning difficulties in mathematics subjects, especially in sequential subtraction material. These difficulties include determining the place value of a number, limitations in counting skills, and difficulty understanding processes, concepts, or solving mathematical problems, especially in the context of multiple subtraction. The causes of difficulties learning mathematics can be grouped into two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include students' level of intelligence, students' attitudes towards learning, and students' learning motivation. Meanwhile, external factors include variations in teaching by teachers, learning methods and media used by teachers, as well as the condition of facilities and infrastructure in the classroom.

Abstract

This study has 4 problem formulations, namely (1) What are the characteristics of Canva media in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things?, (2) Does the development of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things meet valid criteria?, (3) Does the development of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things meet practical criteria for use?, (4) Is the development of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things effective for use? Then the objectives of the problem formulation are (1) Developing the characteristics of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things, (2) Testing the validity of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things, (3) Testing the practicality of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things, (4) Testing the effectiveness of animated video learning media based on the Canva application in the subject of Natural Sciences, the material on the characteristics of living things.  The method used in this study is ADDIE. The results of the study show that Canva-based animated video learning media in the subject of science has the following advantages: Canva provides professional and easy-to-understand visual content, and motivates student engagement. This media has been validated by experts and has been proven to improve student understanding compared to traditional methods. In addition, this media is practical to create and share, supporting classroom and distance learning. Finally, animated videos are effective in increasing engagement and providing faster feedback, making learning more enjoyable. The conclusion of the development of Canva-based animated video learning media in the subject of science with the material on the characteristics of living things is: first, Canva provides an attractive and customizable visual content design, increasing student engagement. Second, this media is valid and in accordance with the curriculum, and meets academic standards. Third, this media is practical for teachers to use to create and share content, facilitating student access. Finally, this media is effective in improving student understanding, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores. Abstract

This study was motivated by the suboptimal reading skills of phase A children. This is evidenced by the results of the education report card of SD Negeri Sarirejo 1 in 2024, where children's literacy and numeracy skills in several aspects have decreased scores from last year. This study used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data collection used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that (1) children in phase A of SD Negeri Sarirejo 1 still experience difficulties, such as: mispronouncing words, spelling repeatedly, difficulty combining consonant letters such as "-ng", not paying attention to punctuation, lack of confidence, misunderstanding similar numbers such as "12" and "21", not yet able to analyze information from the table because they make mistakes in addition when calculating data, (2) inhibiting factors are physiological factors in the form of fatigue and lack of nutritional intake, psychological factors including children's interest, motivation, and mental readiness, and environmental factors in the form of teacher influence and parental encouragement, (3) the teacher's strategy to overcome these problems is to use learning media in the form of illustrated reading books that contain visual elements, letters, words, tables, and simple diagrams, (4) the ethnographic pattern at SD Negeri Sarirejo 1 shows that early reading ability as a foundation for building numeracy literacy involves the relationship between the difficulties of phase A children and the factors that influence them, as well as what strategies the teacher uses to overcome these difficulties.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews which state that 1) Students are accustomed to learning only by using the method of listening to teacher explanations and practicing questions which makes the lack of students actively involved in learning. 2) Students without supervision and motivation from parents is also a factor in students' lack of awareness in learning. 3) Students have difficulty understanding the material because they do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation. This can be seen from student score data. The purpose of this research is: to determine students' problem solving abilities by applying the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Geometry material for class IV SD Negeri 03 Langenharjo. The research used is quantitative research, with the type of research used being research experimental design. Study experiment namely research used to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions, whereas design Research is a design on how to analyze data so that it can be carried out in accordance with research objectives. The design used is one grup pre-test And post-test design. The research results show that the application of the model problem based learning effective in improving students' problem solving abilities in geometry material in class IV. This is shown in the results of the Paired Sample T Test calculation. The final data obtained is the result that is the value sig.(2-tailed) 0.0000 which means it is smaller than 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study started from students of grade IV SDN 2 Gubugsari who were slow in the learning process such as students having difficulty remembering and not understanding the material presented by the teacher, and students being less active during the Indonesian language learning process. This study was conducted with the aim of describing students' learning styles in the Indonesian language subject of grade IV SDN 2 Gubugsari. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with 33 subjects of grade IV students. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the learning style of grade IV students of SDN 2 Gubugsari was a combination of visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles with different learning style tendencies. The learning style of students in the Indonesian language subject of grade IV SDN 2 Gubugsari was predominantly an auditory learning style.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni rebana dan penerapan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas V di SD N Peterongan. Karakter disiplin merupakan salah satu nilai penting dalam pendidikan karakter yang perlu ditanamkan sejak dini. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni rebana dipilih sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter karena mengandung unsur keteraturan, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni rebana dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap minggu dan cukup diminati oleh siswa. Nilai-nilai disiplin seperti disiplin waktu, disiplin ibadah, disiplin menaati aturan dan disiplin belajar mulai diterapkan dalam kegiatan tersebut, meskipun masih ditemukan beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya ketegasan pelatih dan batasan pengawasan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran aktif dari sekolah dan pelatih dalam mengoptimalkan pembentukan karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan seni rebana.
