Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze mathematical problem-solving abilities based on Polya's steps and the causes of students' errors in solving mathematical problems. The problem-solving stage consists of 4 stages, namely the stage of understanding the problem, planning a solution, carrying out a solution plan, and looking back. This study used 6 subjects from 25 eighth grade students of SMP Terpadu Turen. Data collection is done by tests and interviews. Data validity test is done by triangulation technique. The results of this study were (1) at the stage of understanding many students, they did not experience difficulties because students were able to understand the problem, (2) at the planning stage there were some students who did not write the completion plan but understood the way they would do to solve the problem but they were not used to write down the plan, (3) at the stage of carrying out the plan there were some students who have difficulty because they are less thorough so that they are not aware of the mistakes made. This is because students lack concentration in solving problems, (4) at the stage of looking back there are students who have not reached this stage because they have not completed the previous stage.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to find out the results of student work using Maple and without using Maple; (2) to find out how students respond to learning using Maple. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The instruments used in collecting data in this study were tests and non-tests. The results showed that most students were not successful in graphing differential and integral functions without using Maple software. It is different when students use the help of Maple software, all students can successfully graph the differential and integral functions correctly. Differences in the results of student work in completing tasks related to differential calculus and integral calculus also provide benefits, which are very helpful for students in understanding concepts and providing convenience in solving problems of differential calculus and integral calculus.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical connection ability of students in the high, medium, and low categories in solving math problems based on Polya's steps. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods carried out in class VII SMP PGRI 06 Malang in the 2019/2020 academic year. The subjects of this study were 22 students of which three students' categorized into high mathematical connection ability, four students categorized into medium mathematical connection ability, and fifteen students categorized into low mathematical connection ability. The results of this study show that students with the high category of mathematical connection ability were able to connect between concepts by making concept maps and solving problems well. Students with the medium group of mathematical connection ability can connect between concept, but in the episode of implementing the plan and looking back at the results of their work did not do well. Students with the low category of mathematical connection ability cannot connect between concepts, so they cannot understand the problem well and cannot plan problem-solving.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah adalah untuk memperoleh media pembalajaran pop up book yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peneliti menggunakan Model ADDIE dengan instrumen, yaitu angket dan post test berupa jawaban soal evaluasi untuk mengetahui keefektifan media. Uji coba dilakukan di SMP Taman Siswa Kesamben Blitar dan SMP PGRI 02 Kesamben Blitar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi darii validator memperoleh kriteria valid  dari ahli materi memperoleh skor 3,58,  ahli media memperoleh skor 3,43, dan validator dua ahli pembelajaran memperoleh skor 3,45 dengan kriteria valid. Kepraktisan media diperoleh dari hasil uji coba lapangan terbatas skor kepraktisan (Pk) 3,32 dengan kriteria praktis. Uji coba lapangan luas memperoleh skor kepraktisan (Pk) 3,37 dengan kriteria praktis. Keefektifan media dari siswa uji lapangan terbatas 100%,  Keefektifan media dari tes siswa pada uji lapangan terbatas, yaitu 100%, sedangkan uji lapangan luas, yaitu  92,8% dengan kriteria efektif. Dilihat dari skornya, bahwa media hasil pengembangan dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika.Abstract The purpose of this study was to obtain a valid, practical and effective pop up book learning medium in learning mathematics. Researchers used the ADDIE Model with instruments, namely questionnaires and post tests in the form of answers to evaluation questions to determine the effectiveness of the media. The trial was conducted at SMP Taman Siswa Kesamben Blitar and SMP PGRI 02 Kesamben Blitar. Based on the validation results, the validator obtained valid criteria from the material expert obtaining a score of 3.58, the media expert obtained a score of 3.43, and the validator of two learning experts obtained a score of 3.45 with valid criteria. The practicality of the media was obtained from the results of a limited field trial of a practicality score (Pk) of 3.32 with practical criteria. The broad field trial obtained a practicality score (Pk) of 3.37 with practical criteria. The effectiveness of the media from the students in the field test was limited to 100%, the effectiveness of the media from the student tests on the limited field test, namely 100%, while the broad field test was 92.8% with effective criteria. Judging from the score, that the developed media can be used effectively in learning mathematics.

Abstract

ABSTRAKCovid-19 menyebabkan banyak buruh pabrik desa Srimulyo di-PHK. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan perekonomian keluarga mengalami penurunan. Hasil pengamatan awal menunjukkan hampir semua halaman rumah warga ditanami jahe. Kurangnya pengetahuan warga menyebabkan jahe hanya digunakan sebagai minuman dan bumbu dapur. Jahe belum diolah dengan berbagai macam olahan lain. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga Desa Srimulyo melalui pendampingan pembuatan ting-ting jahe ASRI. Metode yang ditawarkan dalam pengabdian antara lain pendampingan pembuatan ting-ting jahe berupa pelatihan serta pengemasan dan pelabelan.  Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu Desa Srimulyo bertambah dalam pembuatan ting-ting jahe dan hasil penjualan ting-ting jahe dapat meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga. Diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian dapat dilanjutkan dengan pemasaran ting-ting jahe ASRI secara online. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan; ting-ting jahe; perekonomian. ABSTRACTCovid-19 has caused many factory workers in Srimulyo village to be laid off. This condition causes the family economy to decline. Initial observations show that almost all of the residents' yards are planted with ginger. Lack of knowledge of residents causes ginger is only used as a drink and a kitchen spice. Ginger has not been processed with various other preparations. This service aims to improve the economy of the Srimulyo Village family through assistance in making ASRI ginger ting-ting. The methods offered in the service include assistance in making ginger ting-ting in the form of training as well as packaging and labeling. The results of the service show that the knowledge of the Srimulyo Village women increases in making ginger ting-ting and the sales of ginger ting-ting can improve the family economy. It is hoped that service activities can be continued with online marketing of ASRI ginger. Keywords: empowerment; ting-ting ginger; economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis pemahaman peserta didik dengan materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel (SPLDV) berdasarkan taksonomi bloom ditinjau dari gaya kognitif impulsif dan reflektif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah empat peserta didik kelas X Farmasi SMK Cendikia Madinah Dampit. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, tes gaya kognitif MFFT (Mathcing Familiar Figure Test), tes tulis dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dengan gaya kognitif impulsif cenderung banyak melakukan kekurangan ataupun kesalahan disetiap tahapan-tahapannya sedangkan peserta didik dengan gaya kognitif reflektif mampu memenuhi setiap tahapan-tahapan taksonomi bloom. Dengan demikian kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah karakter peserta didik begitu erat kaitannya dengan tingkat pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi yang dipelajari. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyarankan agar setiap guru wajib mengerti dan paham akan karakter masing-masing peserta didik yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman masing-masing peserta didik.

Abstract

: Sebagian besar masyarakat di Kelurahan Pisang Candi Malang memiliki kegiatan sehari-hari, disamping itu melakukan aktivitas sosial terbatas pada kelompok organisasi Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Dilihat dari peminatan untuk mendapatkan keterampilan masyarakat di desa ini cukup antusias, besar harapan mereka dapat diberi keterampilan untuk mendukung peningkatan pendapatan keluarga melalui kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM), misalnya dengan pelatihan atau penyuluhan pembuatan Hand Sanitizeryang sangat banyak digemari dan dibutuhkan saat ini terutama bagi masyarakat kelas ekonomi menengah ke atas dalam covid-19, yaitu sebagai mempembersih tangan yang sehat dan segar sekaligus dapat membunuh dari virus covid-19. Produk ini dapat dipasarkan melalui toko keperluan sehari-hari dan swalayan, sehingga sangat bagus untuk dikembangkan menjadi produk unggulan. Pembuatan produk Hand Sanitizerini sangat mudah, menggunakan alat yang sederhana dan dengan biaya yang cukup murah. Dengan berbagai bahan seperti Alkohol, Glycerol, H2 O2, dan Aquades. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dipandang perlu untuk menyikapi situasi ini, dengan cara diberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan cara-cara pembuatan produk Hand Sanitizer bahan kimiawi, cara pengemasan yang baik dan cara pemasarannya bagi masyarakat dikelurahan Pisang Candi Malang, sehingga menghasilkan produk Hand Sanitizerhasil buatan sendiri mempunyai nilai jual, sehingga dapat meningkatkan penghasilan, yang pada akhirnya mendapatkan hidup keluarga yang lebih sejahtera.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the errors that student made in completing the Two Variable Linear Equation System based on Watson's criteria. This was a descriptive qualitative study involving 29 students consisted of of 12 high-skilled students, 5 medium-skilled students, and 12 low-skilled students in 8th grade at SMP PGRI 6 Malang. The data were obtained from the types of errors that student made using the Two Variable Linear Equation System question tests and the results of the interviews based on the Watson's criteria indicators. The question sets used in this study had been verified by mathematics education lecturers and mathematics teachers. The results of this study were: a) high-skilled students were 'less thorough' at work; (2) medium-skilled students were ‘using data incorrectly at the early stages'; while (3) low-skilled students ‘did not give answers' because they did not understand the concepts of the learning materials. The three types of errors frequently made by students were errors in determining the operation to be used (mhk), errors in determining the stages of solving the question problems (mtl), and errors in drawing conclusions from the final results (kh).
