Abstract

Model predator-prey merupakan salah satu model yang sangat banyak diteliti dan dimodifikasi Pada penelitian ini, akan dibangun suatu skema numerik untuk menyelesaikan suatu model predator-prey. Model yang dipilih pada penelitian ini adalah model kontinu Leslie-Gower yang telah dimodifikasi pada pemanenan. Model kontinu tersebut akan didiskritisasi dengan menggunakan metode Euler. Selanjutnya, akan diamati perilaku model hasil diskritisasi tersebut dan pada akhirnya akan diamati apakah perubahan parameter dapat mempengaruhi kestabilan model dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Matlab. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa perilaku model hasil diskritisasi konsisten dengan model kontinunya. Pada simulasi numerik dengan Matlab, ditunjukkan bahwa perubahan parameter akan mempengaruhi kestabilan model.

Abstract

This research discusses about linkage analysis and identifies the key sector in the fresh milk distribution using Leontief Input-Output method. This method is one of the application of Mathematics in economy. The current fresh milk distribution system includes dairy farmers →collectors→fresh milk processing industries→processed milk distributors→consumers. Then, the distribution is merged between the collectors’ axctivity and the fresh milk processing industry. The data used are primary and secondary data taken in June 2016 in Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang. The collected data are then analysed using Leontief Input-Output Matriks and Python (PYIO 2.1) software. The result is that the merging of the collectors’ and the fresh milk processing industry’s activities shows high indices of forward linkages and backward linkages. It is shown that merging of the two activities is the key sector which has an important role in developing the whole activities in the fresh milk distribution.

Abstract

Recently, exploitation of biological resources and the harvesting of two populations or more are widely practiced, such as fishery or foresty. The simplest way to describe the interaction of two species is by using predator prey model, that is one species feeds on another. The Leslie-Gower predator prey model has been studied in many works. In this paper, we use Euler method to discretisize the modified Leslie-Gower with harvesting model. The model consists of two simultanious predator prey equations. We show numerically that this discrete numerical scheme model is dynamically consistent with its continuous model only for relatively small step-size. By using computer simulation software, we show that equlibrium points can be stable, saddles, and unstable. It is shown that the numerical simulations not only illustrate the results, but also show the rich dynamics behaviors of the discrete system.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out students‘ errors and the factors which cause students to make errors when they solve problems in Basic ComputerProgramming using Matlab. The methods used to collect the data aredocumentation, test, and interview. This is a qualitative and uses descriptive method. The subject of this research is 35 students of Mathe-matics Education Departement class of 2015B. Three students with low ability who made errors in their worksheet are chosen as the interview subject. The data validation test is conducted with triangulation technique. The result is that the students‘ errors are divided into three categories, i.e: the errors in understanding the concept, the procedure, and the final result. Based on the result of this research, it is concluded that 17.1% of the students made errors in understanding the concept, 46, 7% of the students made errors in the procedure, and 5, 7% made errors in the final result. The factors influencing the students‘ errors are lack of understanding in prerequisite materials and lack of practice in solving Basic Computer Programming problems.

Abstract

This study’s aim is to describe mathematics education college students difficulties when doing mathematical proof. This study employs descriptive qualitative methods. This study subjects are 3 mathematic education college students who take real analysis class. The subjects was chosen according to their mathematics proposition proof ability in real analysis. The study was carried out by two step tests, they are written and oral test. Based on the study results we know that: college student with high ability tends to have difficulty in write the information that used to proof in written form, but they still manage to get the right proof; college student with middle ability tends to have difficulty in construct the suitable steps and logics to proof the proposition; and college student with low ability tends to have difficulty in understanding the purpose, meaning, and properties that given by the known proposition in the task. In order to deepen this study results, in the next study, we can employs a standard method to detects difficulty, such as NEA (Newton’s Error Analysis), to find more structured results.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to is to generalize the SIR model with horizontal and vertical transmission. In this paper, we develop the discrete version of the model. We use Euler method to approximate numerical solution of the model. We found two equilibrium points, that is disease free and endemic equilibrium points. The existence of these points depend on basic reproduction number R0. We found that if R0 1 then only disease free equilibrium points exists, while both points exists when R0 1. We also found that the stability of these equilibrium points depend on the value of step-size h. Some numerical experiments were presented as illustration.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal lingkaran berdasarkan kategori Watson serta penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal lingkaran berdasarkan kategori Watson. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Ihsan Turen tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan macam-macam kesalahan yang disebabkan: (i) dalam data tidak tepat, siswa belum memahami maksud serta penerapan konsep yang belum benar, (ii) dalam prosedur tidak tepat, siswa kurang teliti dalam melakukan operasi perkalian serta salah dalam prosedur pengerjaan, (iii) dalam data hilang, siswa mengabaikan salah satu tahap penyelesaian, (iv) dalam kesimpulan hilang, siswa belum mampu menyimpulkan hasil akhir, (v) dalam konflik level respon, siswa menuliskan jawaban dengan tidak menggunakan cara sesuai konsep yang benar, (vi) dalam masalah hirarki keterampilan, siswa belum mampu memanipulasi rumus dasar menjadi rumus yang diminta.

Abstract

abstract: Mathematics is a subject that is still considered difficult by some students. This is because, mathematics is always associated with calculations, formulas, and graphics. In addition there is material in mathematics that is abstract. So students must imagine something abstract in order to understand the material. For this reason, students need intermediaries who make it easy to understand something abstract. This intermediary is called learning media. Based on interviews with mathematics teachers at MTs Miftahul Ulum Ngembal and PGRI Tutur Islamic Middle School, the procurement of mathematics learning media is still lacking. The learning media used are worksheets. The appearance of worksheets is not very interesting and only contains a summary of material and questions, making students less motivated to learn worksheets. They study when the test will be held. This causes learning outcomes, especially mathematics is still low, with a KKM value of 6.5. Problems faced by MTs. Miftahul Ulum Ngembal and PGRI Tutur Islamic Middle School are: a) Lack of learning media that attracts students' attention. b) Lack of student learning motivation in learning mathematics, especially Linear Equation of One Variable. c) Student learning outcomes are low, namely with KKM 6.5. d) Lack of student understanding of algebra material, especially the system of linear equations of one variable. This is because this material is material that has just been received at the junior high school level. The solution offered is to provide Mathematics Comic Training for students of PGRI Tutur Islamic Middle School and MTs Mifathul Ulum Ngembal. This training aims to increase student learning motivation which will have an impact on student learning outcomes. This training will be held in 2 meetings so as not to disturb the learning and teaching process. In practice, students will be divided into groups. Each group will be given a mathematical comic that contains material about one variable linear equations and questions related to one variable linear equations.

Abstract

Penelitian bermaksud untuk mengembangkan suatu media pembelajaran matematika dengan powtoon dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar  yang valid, layak, dan efektif. Pengembangan penelitian tersebut menerapkan metode Thiagarajan dengan model 4D (define, design, development, serta dissemination). Pelaksanaan penelitian berlokasi di SMK Cendikia Madinah Dampit Kabupaten Malang pada kelas XII Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan sebagai subjek uji kelompok kecil sebanyak 6 orang peserta didik serta pada kelas XII Multimedia sebagai subjek uji coba kelompok besar yang berjumlah 17 peserta didik. Teknik analisis pada data dilakukan dengan cara teknik menganalisis deskriptif kuantitatif serta kualitatif. Keberhasilan penelitian menampakkan tingkat kevalidan mendapat 83,33% ahli media, 70% ahli materi serta 81,66% ahli pembelajaran. Persentase tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media valid diterapkan pada proses belajar mengajar. Tingkat kelayakan mendapatkan 74,58% uji kelompok kecil serta 85,31% pengujian pada kelompok besar. Keberhasilan angket menunjukkan kategori layak dimanfaatkan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Tingkat keefektifan mendapat 64,16% pengujian pada kelompok kecil serta 85,17% pengujian pada kelompok besar dengan dikategorikan efektif dimanfaatkan pada proses belajar. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan penelitian tersebut ditarik simpulan yakni media pembelajaran matematika menggunakan powtoon dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses belajar mengajar dikarenakan mencapai kategori valid, layak serta efektif.
