Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas II SDN 187/I Teratai melalui penggunaan digital storytelling dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus melibatkan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pada Siklus I, guru mengalami tantangan dalam menjaga perhatian siswa, meskipun kegiatan pembelajaran telah dirancang dengan baik. Hasil belajar menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 78,85 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 78,85%. Berdasarkan refleksi, peneliti menyadari perlunya peningkatan manajemen kelas dan penggunaan media digital storytelling yang lebih optimal. Pada Siklus II, implementasi digital storytelling lebih ditingkatkan dengan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Guru berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, yang terbukti dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 94,62 dan tingkat ketuntasan 94,62%. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa digital storytelling efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan digital storytelling dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan hasil belajar dan partisipasi siswa yang lebih aktif dan antusias.

Abstract

Technology profoundly influences the behavior of today's youth, particularly elementary school students undergoing character development. This study examines technology's impact on student character using a literature review approach, drawing data from journals, academic articles, and relevant literature reviews. Findings highlight technology's dual role in shaping elementary students' character. While it can enhance learning interests, critical skills, and collaboration, excessive use hinders direct social interaction, increases addiction risks, and alters traditional values. Integrating technology with character education necessitates appropriate policies and active involvement from teachers and parents. Balancing cognitive and moral development is crucial in mitigating technology's impact on students. Parents and teachers play pivotal roles in guiding, supervising, and modeling appropriate technology use to foster positive character development and minimize negative effects.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in 2022 as an effort to address the challenges and crises in education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN 34/1 Teratai, particularly in class 5B. The methodology used is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings of this research are: 1) Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, 2) Challenges related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, 3) Solutions to overcome challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in class VB of SDN 34/1 Teratai.

Abstract

Culture manifests in various forms, including folktale. This study aims to describe the content, structure, and educational values of the Batanghari folktale titled “Lebung Pendam.” The methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing historical methods and an objective approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews, literature studies, and document analysis. The findings of this study are: 1) an analysis of the content of “Lebung Pendam,” 2) the structure of “Lebung Pendam,” and 3) the educational values contained within the story. The study results indicate that “Lebung Pendam” belongs to the legend category, narrating the origin of the village of Lopak Aur. There are two versions of the story, differing in the main character's name, the cause of the conflict, and the identity of the character who survives at the end. The intrinsic elements of the story include a linear plot with the theme of social conflict, a rural setting, complex characters, and a moral message emphasizing the importance of thinking before acting and controlling emotions. The educational values identified in the story include morality, social, and religious values.
