Abstract

The agricultural sector is one sector that has great potential to improve the economy. To increase the role of the government and the income of fruit and vegetable farmers, the government and farmers need to better manage their business results for marketing or sale. The level of welfare of fruit and vegetable farmers is still low, this is not because the selling price of fruit and vegetables is low, nor is it because of the large number of imported fruit and vegetables, but rather because of the government's lack of attention to the fruit and vegetable sub-sector, especially durian. snakefruit. Oranges, bananas, mangoes and papaya. This research used a descriptive method, which was carried out in Ngawi Regency. The selection of the research area and determination of samples was carried out deliberately. Data collection uses the interview method using questionnaires to obtain primary data and documentation methods to obtain secondary data. The data analysis method uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis using the Location Quotient approach which tests the validity of the data using methods, sources and theories. The results of the research show that the factors that have a real influence on the income of fish farmers in Nagari Andaleh, Luak District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, are the leading commodities for the Fruits and Vegetables sub-sector, namely Salak with an LQ value of 4.19 and Durian with an LQ value of 2.36. Other types of commodities such as Oranges with an LQ value of 0.64 also have the potential to be developed, in contrast to non-seeded commodities, namely Bananas with an LQ value of 0.03, Mangoes with an LQ value of 0.05 and Papaya with an LQ value of 0.06.

Abstract

Health is one of the sectors that has rapidly advanced through the application of information and communication technology (ICT) under the concept of e-Health. Nutrition services at the Teaching Factory Nutrition Care Center (TeFa NCC) are still conducted manually, requiring technological innovations to enhance efficiency and accessibility. This community service aims to digitalize nutrition services to facilitate public access to information and support staff operations more effectively. The method involves a participatory approach with three main steps: application development, socialization, and monitoring and evaluation to improve the quality of nutrition services and user satisfaction. The development of the Android-based E-Stagi application has proven successful in increasing service efficiency, with 34% of users finding the application very easy to operate. Monitoring results also indicate that the application simplifies data management for staff and provides easier access to nutrition information for the public compared to traditional methods. Despite technical challenges and user unfamiliarity, further training and application updates are necessary to optimize its utilization.

Abstract

The growth of startups in Indonesia, especially in the agribusiness sector, has experienced significant dynamics in recent years. TaniHub, as one of the leading startups, has experienced a journey that mirrors the economic bubble phenomenon, from a rapid rise to a sharp decline. This study aims to analyze TaniHub's life cycle through the economic bubble theory, to understand how this theory can be applied to private startups and provide insights into the development of a new life cycle concept in the context of an emerging market. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method, analyzing TaniHub's journey from its founding in 2016 to its collapse in 2023. Data were collected from secondary sources, including media reports and official documents, and analyzed using the economic bubble theory framework. The results of the analysis show that TaniHub's journey through five phases of the economic bubble displacement, boom, euphoria, financial distress, and revolution reveals how overinvestment and unrealistic expectations contributed to the company's failure despite having significant funding. The study concludes that although TaniHub managed to attract large investments, the lack of sustainability in its business model and ineffective growth management led to its rapid decline. These findings provide valuable insights for stakeholders in the startup sector to understand the risks of rapid growth and the importance of careful management in avoiding economic bubbles.

Abstract

This study examines how the family environment affects the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Agribusiness Management program at Campus 5 Ngawi. The research is motivated by the high unemployment rate and low education levels in Ngawi. Using a quantitative approach and a survey of 29 students, the study identifies the family environment as the independent variable and entrepreneurial interest as the dependent variable. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability with SPSS, and data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The findings show that the family environment significantly influences entrepreneurial interest, contributing 66%. Key factors include parenting style, family relationships, home atmosphere, economic conditions, and cultural background. The study emphasizes the critical role of the family in fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in students from an early age and recommends parental involvement in creating a supportive environment for their children's entrepreneurial development.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of family and social environments on the entrepreneurial intention of Agribusiness Management students. The research employs a quantitative approach, surveying 29 students from the second and fourth semesters. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data, focusing on two independent variables: the family environment and the social environment, and their impact on students' entrepreneurial aspirations. The results show that a supportive and stimulating environment within both family and social contexts significantly enhances students' motivation to engage in entrepreneurial ventures. Together, these two environments explain 75.4% of the variation in entrepreneurial interest, as indicated by an R square value of 0.754. Specifically, the family environment, which includes elements such as parental guidance, family relationships, home atmosphere, economic status, and cultural background, accounts for 38.25% of the variance in entrepreneurial interest. Furthermore, the social environment, which encompasses peer interactions, relationships with faculty, and the overall university setting, contributes 37.13% to the development of entrepreneurial intent. The study acknowledges the limitations of a small sample size, which restricts the generalizability of the findings, and recommends further research with a larger and more diverse population across multiple institutions.

Abstract

Agrarian regions like East Java province face complex public health challenges. Some cases are caused by the interaction between social factors, and others by agribusiness factors. An integrative approach is needed to understand the dynamics of disease cases. This study aims to analyse the disease with the highest number of cases and project case trends in East Java using an integrated quantitative approach. Using methods such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine disease weights, the TBATS model is used to project case trends through 2028. Standardised multiple regression models were used to assess the influence of social factors (population density, poverty) and agribusiness (rice harvest area, agricultural labour). The data used are secondary time-series data from 2013 to 2023 obtained from BPS, the Health Department, and BMKG. The AHP results show diarrhoea as the disease with the highest weight (0.494), followed by pneumonia (0.112), tuberculosis (0.090), malaria (0.051), and dengue fever (0.049). The TBATS projection indicates medium-term fluctuations with the potential for an increase in dengue fever cases. Meanwhile, the regression results show that people in the agricultural sector are at increased risk of malaria (p = 0.037), while other variables have an influence but are not significant. Therefore, integrating health, social, and agribusiness data is an urgent need. And it can be used for early disease warning systems and more precise public health policy strengthening.
