Abstract

This study aims to examine the design of learning videos using the Canva application on the material of the development of Islamic boarding schools and their role in Islamic propagation in Indonesia. The instrument used in testing the feasibility of learning video design is to use a validation sheet questionnaire by material experts and media experts. Feasibility is seen from the results of validation by material experts which include the feasibility of material content, question content, and language. While the feasibility of the results of media expert validation includes the feasibility of cover design and video content design. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. However, this research is limited to the Develop stage only. The research process began with a needs analysis at MTs Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya, followed by the design and development of learning videos that were tested for validity by material experts and media experts. The validation results showed that the learning video design obtained 85% results from material experts who were included in the very feasible category, and 77% from media experts who were included in the feasible category. Thus, the learning video design produced can be applied effectively in schools with minimal use of learning media.

Abstract

Fenomena healing di kalangan mahasiswa Gen Z menjadi topik yang semakin relevan seiring dengan meningkatnya tekanan akademik, sosial, dan emosional yang dihadapi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Istilah healing tidak lagi hanya dipahami sebagai kegiatan liburan semata, melainkan berkembang menjadi bentuk respons psikologis dan sosial yang mencerminkan upaya individu dalam menjaga kesehatan mental dan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami healing sebagai bagian dari strategi regulasi emosi yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa, dengan fokus pada dua pendekatan utama yaitu cognitive reappraisal (penilaian ulang kognitif) dan expressive suppression (penekanan ekspresi emosi). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara mendalam terhadap empat mahasiswa yang berasal dari UIN Palangka Raya, Universitas Palangka Raya, dan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa healing tidak hanya sebagai pelarian dari tekanan, tetapi juga sebagai bentuk refleksi diri untuk menata ulang cara pandang terhadap masalah, menenangkan pikiran, serta menjaga stabilitas emosional di tengah tuntutan sosial. Namun, terdapat pula healing yang bersifat maladaptif, terutama ketika digunakan berlebihan tanpa disertai penyelesaian masalah secara nyata. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperluas pemahaman tentang dinamika regulasi emosi di era modern, serta menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan intervensi psikososial yang lebih kontekstual dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan emosional mahasiswa Gen Z.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya penggunaan video interaktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) guna meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas proses belajar-mengajar. Seiring perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi, dibutuhkan pendekatan yang kreatif, interaktif, dan relevan, seperti pemanfaatan media digital, metode pembelajaran aktif, serta integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Inovasi ini bertujuan untuk membangkitkan minat belajar, memperkuat pemahaman materi, serta membentuk karakter dan akhlak peserta didik secara menyeluruh. Guru PAI memiliki peran sentral dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi inovatif agar proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan kontekstual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Fokus utama penelitian adalah bagaimana video interaktif memengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam mempraktikkan wudhu secara tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan praktik wudhu siswa secara signifikan. Video mampu menjelaskan langkah-langkah wudhu secara visual dan menarik, sehingga siswa lebih mudah mengingat dan menirukan gerakan. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan bukti bahwa integrasi media interaktif dalam pembelajaran PAI tidak hanya meningkatkan aspek kognitif, tetapi juga psikomotorik. Inovasi ini dapat menjadi model pembelajaran yang efektif dan aplikatif bagi guru PAI dalam menghadirkan proses belajar yang lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Student well-being has become an increasingly critical concern amid demanding curricula and intense academic competition, particularly in boarding schools. However, this aspect is often overlooked as schools tend to prioritize academic achievement over holistic development. This study aims to examine the level of student well-being at Hasanka Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya using a four-dimensional framework encompassing having, loving, being, and health. Employing a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, the quantitative phase collected data from 123 students selected through proportionate stratified random sampling based on the Slovin formula. The qualitative phase involved interviews, observations, and documentation to validate and enrich the survey findings. Results revealed that most students reported a moderate level of school well-being. The having and being dimensions achieved the highest mean scores, underscoring the importance of adequate facilities and opportunities for self-fulfillment in fostering well-being. In contrast, the loving and health dimensions scored lowest, indicating that social connectedness and physical-mental health remain vulnerable aspects in boarding school environments characterized by dense and competitive curricula. The findings highlight the necessity for integrated school strategies that balance academic rigor with students’ physical health, mental resilience, and social support systems to promote holistic well-being within the school context at school level, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the History of Islamic Culture (SKI) in Madrasahs as an integral part of Islamic religious education in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning materials of SKI, identify effective approaches, and evaluate the challenges faced in teaching. The method used is a literature review, which collects and analyzes various literatures related to SKI teaching. The results show that the application of methods such as Contextual Teaching and Learning and the use of e-learning technology can increase student engagement in learning. In addition, there are challenges in the suitability of materials with the curriculum and limited resources that need to be overcome, teaching SKI does not only function as a delivery of historical information, but also plays a role in shaping students' Islamic character and identity. The implications of this study emphasize the need for relevant curriculum development and training for teachers, so that SKI learning is more effective and able to answer the needs of students in the modern era. With the right approach, it is hoped that SKI learning can contribute to building a generation that understands and lives Islamic values in their historical context.
