Abstract

This research aims to find out what the learning conditions are when using the Quizizz application for Mathematics learning in elementary school. The scope of this research focuses on students and teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach, qualitative data in the form of information from interviews and observations made using qualitative data collection techniques including: Interviews and Documentation. As for data collection techniques for interview data, researchers describe the interview results in the form of descriptions. Researchers use data analysis techniques using the Milles and Huberman theory, namely data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusions. The location of this research was carried out at an elementary school in Yogyakarta, involving one teacher as a resource person. There are two factors that influence learning, namely from within oneself and from outside oneself. From outside, in the form of learning media used, one of which is the Quizizz application. The Quizizz application is a web tool that contains interactive quizzes containing educational content presented in an attractive appearance. Learning mathematics is abstract learning so it requires media to clarify the intended symbols or numbers, so the Quizizz application can help make learning mathematics easier with various interesting features.

Abstract

Pendidikan tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan tetapi juga membangun karakter dan perilaku yang positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendekatan sosiologi terhadap pembentukan tingkah laku siswa sekolah dasar. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini berfokus pada siswa dan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berupa informasi hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan ialah wawancara. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada wawancara yaitu dengan cara mendeskripsikan hasil wawancara dalam bentuk uraian. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data teori Milles and Huberman yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan data. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan pada sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Bandung, dengan melibatkan satu orang guru sebagai narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosiologi dapat berguna sebagai alat dalam mengidentifikasi permasalahan mengenai tingkah laku siswa di sekolah. Hal tersebut berguna bagi guru agar dapat mencari solusi dari permasalahan tingkah laku siswa di sekolah. Dengan pendekatan sosiologi seorang guru dapat melakukan penelusuran dalam mengenali tingkah laku siswa secara rinci.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan kurikulum kontekstual di sekolah dasar dengan fokus pada strategi implementasi dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru-guru sekolah dasar, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum kontekstual bergantung pada kemampuan guru dalam mengintegrasikan pengalaman nyata siswa ke dalam pembelajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua. Tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya, dan keterampilan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual berpotensi meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, namun memerlukan dukungan sistematis dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan untuk optimalisasi implementasinya.

Abstract

Evaluation plays a crucial role in the learning process, particularly in assessing students' science literacy. Among various assessment methods, reasoned multiple-choice tests stand out as an effective tool because they not only determine whether answers are correct or incorrect but also uncover the reasoning behind students' choices. This allows educators to gain a clearer and deeper understanding of students’ comprehension and critical thinking skills related to science concepts, especially at the elementary school level. This study aims to systematically review existing literature on the application of reasoned multiple-choice tests in measuring science literacy among elementary school students. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA framework, the study ensures a transparent and rigorous selection of relevant articles. Data collection involved gathering studies focused on science literacy and reasoned multiple-choice testing, which were then synthesized to draw meaningful conclusions. The data analysis process consisted of identifying, selecting, and extracting articles that met inclusion criteria, followed by thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and key findings. The results of this review indicate that reasoned multiple-choice tests are widely regarded as an appropriate and effective method to comprehensively assess science literacy in elementary education, providing valuable insights into students’ knowledge and reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas metode drill and practice berbantuan video YouTube dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 1 di SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap matematika, yang sering dianggap sulit. Video YouTube dipilih karena visualnya menarik dan mudah diakses, sementara metode drill and practice efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman melalui latihan berulang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru kelas 1 dan waka kurikulum. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk menganalisis implementasi metode tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video YouTube dapat meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman siswa dengan mengubah konsep abstrak menjadi lebih konkret dan menarik. Kombinasi drill and practice dengan video YouTube memungkinkan latihan soal yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses internet, kualitas video, dan potensi distraksi juga ditemukan. Kesimpulannya, metode ini berpotensi meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa, tetapi memerlukan pengelolaan yang bijak dan persiapan guru yang matang.

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan literasi akademik mahasiswa PGSD masih tergolong rendah, terutama dalam memahami teknik parafrase dan pengutipan yang benar, yang berdampak pada maraknya plagiarisme dalam penulisan ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa PGSD dalam meningkatkan literasi akademik melalui pelatihan teknik parafrase dan mengutip. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi kegiatan berupa foto dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan model analisis Miles dan Huberman. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap teknik parafrase dan kutipan, serta mendorong perubahan sikap positif terhadap etika akademik dan kesadaran akan bahaya plagiarisme. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan teknik parafrase dan pengutipan secara terstruktur dapat menjadi strategi relevan dalam membentuk mahasiswa yang kompeten dan berintegritas dalam penulisan ilmiah. Kata kunci: kutipan; literasi akademik; parafrase; pelatihan mahasiswa; PGSD AbstractThe academic literacy skills of PGSD (Primary School Teacher Education) students remain relatively low, particularly in understanding proper paraphrasing and citation techniques, which contributes to the prevalence of plagiarism in academic writing. This study aims to empower PGSD students to improve their academic literacy through training in paraphrasing and citation techniques. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using a participatory training approach. Data collection techniques included participatory observation and documentation, such as photos and field notes. Data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The research was conducted at a private university in Yogyakarta City. The results show that the training effectively enhanced students' understanding of paraphrasing and citation techniques and encouraged positive changes in attitudes toward academic ethics and awareness of the dangers of plagiarism. In conclusion, structured training in paraphrasing and citation can serve as a relevant strategy in shaping competent and ethically responsible students in academic writing. Keywords: citation; academic literacy; paraphrasing; student training; PGSD

Abstract

Kemampuan menyimak merupakan keterampilan dasar yang penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, namun sering kali kurang mendapat perhatian, termasuk dalam pemanfaatan buku siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan refleksi mahasiswa PGSD terhadap penerapan model Cooperative Learning dalam menganalisis buku siswa materi menyimak. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu kampus Prodi PGSD swasta di Yogyakarta dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-formal kepada lima mahasiswa peserta perkuliahan. Analisis data menggunakan tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan sesuai model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif mendorong mahasiswa untuk aktif berdiskusi, memahami teknik menyimak secara teori dan praktik, serta mampu merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk siswa SD. Mahasiswa juga menunjukkan sikap kritis dan kolaboratif dalam menganalisis buku siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan Cooperative Learning dalam analisis buku siswa efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan pedagogis mahasiswa PGSD sebagai calon guru.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in fostering elementary school students' scientific awareness regarding the dangers of chemical substances in food. This research employs a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Data collection was conducted through interviews focused on a teacher at a public elementary school in Cianjur Regency, West Java. The instrument used was in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique employed includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that PBL is effective in enhancing students' understanding of the dangers of chemical substances, thereby fostering scientific awareness among elementary school students. The observed indicators include students' ability to explain the effects of chemicals, provide real-life examples, and actively participate in group discussions. PBL also facilitates collaborative, critical, and experiential learning, which helps instill an awareness of the importance of choosing healthy food. This study recommends the broader implementation of PBL to enhance students' scientific and health awareness from an early age.

Abstract

This article is a narrative–systematic literature review that clarifies how financial literacy is integrated into elementary mathematics through a contextual approach. Conducted qualitatively, it synthesizes studies from 2015–2025 obtained from ERIC, DOAJ, Google Scholar, Garuda, and Sinta databases using clear inclusion and exclusion criteria. Integration targets specific areas of financial literacy such as budgeting, saving, discounts and percentages, price comparison, simple interest, and distinguishing needs from wants all mapped to number, fraction, ratio, and percentage concepts. Findings reveal that this integration enhances students' engagement, accuracy in calculating percentages or discounts, and their decision-making in financial contexts. Grounded in constructivism and the CTL framework (inquiry, modeling, questioning, learning community, reflection, and authentic assessment), this approach strengthens numeracy and financial behavior simultaneously. The contextual model provides practical, low-resource, and time-efficient learning activities relevant to students' real lives, serving as a practical foundation for curriculum development.
