Abstract

In the digital era, the spread of hoaxes has become a significant concern, leading to social instability, misinformation, and erosion of trust. This study aims to explore the concept of Namimah in Imam Nawawi's Al-Azkar Book as a means to prevent hoaxes. Namimah, or the spread of false information, is considered a serious sin in Islamic teachings. The rapid development of digital technology has facilitated the spread of information, including hoaxes, at an unprecedented rate. This has resulted in the proliferation of misinformation, which can have serious consequences. In this context, it is important to review Islamic teachings that can provide guidance on how to address this issue. This study aims to analyze the concept of Namimah in Imam Nawawi's Al-Azkar Book and its relevance in preventing hoaxes in the digital era. This study uses a literature study approach, where Imam Nawawi's Al-Azkar Book is analyzed to identify and interpret the concept of Namimah. The analysis was conducted through qualitative content analysis methods. This study reveals that Namimah is considered a serious sin in Islamic teachings, and Imam Nawawi emphasizes the importance of verifying information before spreading it. The concept of Namimah is also closely related to other Islamic values, such as honesty, trustworthiness, and justice. This study concludes that the concept of Namimah in Imam Nawawi's Al-Azkar Book provides valuable insights to prevent hoaxes in the digital era. By understanding the importance of verifying information and the consequences of spreading false information, individuals can play an important role in preventing the spread of hoaxes. This study highlights the relevance of Islamic teachings in dealing with contemporary issues and provides a framework for promoting a culture of truth and integrity in the digital era.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology in education has driven pedagogical innovation across various disciplines, including Islamic Religious Education (IRE). This study investigates the lived experiences of primary school IRE teachers in using Wordwall, a web-based interactive learning platform. Employing a descriptive phenomenological approach, the research explores teachers’ motivations, classroom implementations, and perceived impacts on student engagement and understanding. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analyses involving two purposively selected educators from different institutional contexts. The findings reveal three key themes: a shift in teachers’ perceptions toward technology, with increased confidence and digital self-efficacy; the emergence of a more adaptive and creative professional identity; and the transformation of pedagogical practices from conventional content delivery to participatory, game-based learning. Despite notable challenges, such as limited infrastructure and initial unfamiliarity with digital tools, the study underscores Wordwall's role as a catalyst for pedagogical reflection and renewal. These findings suggest that targeted institutional support, including training and peer collaboration, is essential for sustainable digital innovation in IRE. Limitations include the small sample size and localized setting. Future research should expand to diverse educational contexts to further explore scalable models of technology integration in religious instruction.

Abstract

Environmental education in schools is a strategic step to raise students' awareness of the importance of preserving and protecting the environment. This study discusses the fundamental concepts of environmental education through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation in schools. Planning is carried out using a SWOT analysis to identify existing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The implementation phase includes the formation of a school environmental committee, determination of vision and mission, integration of programs into the curriculum, and collaboration with external parties. Evaluation aims to measure the effectiveness of the programs and provide feedback for further development. The results of this study indicate that structured environmental education can increase students' awareness and participation, as well as engage the entire school community in maintaining environmental quality. Thus, the implementation of environmental education in schools plays a crucial role in fostering a generation that is more environmentally conscious and committed to sustainability.
