Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of active learning strategies in Islamic Education (PAI) textbooks on the mastery of Asmaul Husna among 2nd-grade elementary school students. A library research method was employed by collecting and analyzing relevant literature, such as journals, textbooks, and academic articles. The findings indicate that active learning methods, such as singing, group discussions, and visual media, significantly enhance students' understanding of the abstract concept of Asmaul Husna. These methods also boost students' engagement in learning, foster social skills, and facilitate the internalization of Asmaul Husna's values in daily life. Major challenges include limited teaching resources and teachers' competencies, which can be addressed through training and resource provision. The study concludes that active learning strategies are effective in improving students' comprehension of Asmaul Husna and are relevant for application in elementary Islamic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa komik digital berbasis Canva guna meningkatkan pemahaman etika komunikasi pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 156 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang meliputi tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pada tahap validasi, media yang telah dikembangkan diuji oleh tiga ahli materi dan satu ahli media untuk menilai kualitas konten dan kebermanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran. Keempat validator merupakan dosen dari Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan materi pembelajaran mencapai nilai validitas sebesar 0,64, yang tergolong dalam kategori tinggi atau layak untuk digunakan. Sementara itu, aspek media memperoleh nilai validitas sebesar 0,93, yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat tinggi atau sangat layak. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, media pembelajaran komik digital yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, khususnya pada materi etika komunikasi, di kelas IX SMP Negeri 156 Jakarta.

Abstract

Sarapan pagi merupakan kebiasaan penting yang sebaiknya dilakukan setiap hari untuk mencukupi kebutuhan energi tubuh, terutama dalam menunjang aktivitas harian secara maksimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengatahuan siswa tentang pentingnya sarapan. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan pre-post test one group design melalui koordinasi, pendampingan (identifikasi, penentuan prioritas dan penyusunan upaya perbaikan), penyuluhan, serta evaluasi dengan partisipan yang terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas 5. Setelah pelaksanaan penyuluhan, pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya sarapan pagi meningkat signifikan sebanyak 100%. Namun hal ini masih memerlukan memerlukan pendekatan yang lebih menyeluruh dalam prakteknya. Oleh karena itu, dengan melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan dan menggunakan pendekatan yang sistematis dan terukur, kegiatan ini merekomendasikan penerapan program berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mendorong sarapan pagi sampah yang efektif di sekolah.

Abstract

The background of this study is rooted in the phenomenon that translators often do not adhere to Indonesian language guidelines due to their inability or reluctance to make corrections, as well as their lack of understanding of Indonesian language usage guidelines. The purpose of this study is to apply Indonesian language guidelines in translated texts. The methods used are qualitative methods and analysing the text. Analysing the text through the process of editing words and phrases from the translated text of the novel "Baina Al-Qasrain". The results of this study show that the application of Indonesian language guidelines is very effective in enhancing the reputation of a translator, because it is considered to have a deep understanding of the world of writing. The research also found 5 nonstandard writing errors and 20 punctuation and grammar errors

Abstract

Vocabulary is a component of words with meaning and one of the most essential aspects of learning English. However, pupils are not taught vocabulary specifically in school. This results in a large number of students who lack fundamental vocabulary knowledge, despite the fact that vocabulary is one of the most essential components that students must comprehend in order to learn effectively in class. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of a guessing game has a significant impact on students' vocabulary achievement. This research employed a quantitative method and a quasi-experimental design; the research population was eighth-grade MTsN 6 Agam students. The sample was collected using a technique of purposive sampling. Students from the two classes, experimental class with 30 students and control class with 31 students, were given a pre- and post-test. This research instrument is a vocabulary test with 25 multiple-choice questions. The data were analyzed with SPSS 26. The calculated post-test result for the experimental class revealed a mean score of 89.47. It exceeds the mean score of the control group, which was 62.58. The standard deviation of each class is then calculated. Using Independent sample t-test, the researcher compared post-test experimental class and control class using the t-test formula. The output indicates that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00 0.05. It indicates that Ha is acceptable. There is a substantial difference between students who are taught using Guessing game and those who are not. The result is also indicated by the fact that the mean post-test score of the experimental group (89.47) is higher than that of the control group (62.28). It indicates that students who are taught with Guessing game are superior to those who are not. Guessing game has a significant impact on the vocabulary attainment of eighth-grade MTsN 6 Agam students.

Abstract

Environmental health problems, particularly Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), remain a serious threat to communities in densely populated residential areas. This disease is caused by the dengue virus, which is transmitted through Aedes aegypti mosquitoes that breed in standing water, especially those resulting from improper household waste management. The Thematic Community Service Program (KKN Tematik) of Pekalongan University for the 2025/2026 Academic Year carries the theme “Creating a Healthy and Prosperous Society through Sustainable Waste Management Empowerment Programs.” One of the implemented programs was a socialization activity on the production of natural mosquito larvicide made from lemongrass. This activity aimed to increase community knowledge and awareness of dengue prevention through the use of environmentally friendly natural materials while encouraging sustainable waste management practices. The implementation methods included observation, socialization, training, and mentoring. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding of the dangers of mosquito larvae as well as the community’s ability to independently produce and use lemongrass-based larvicides.
