Abstract

Gratitude is an affective dimension that should be embedded in every student. So Ibn Khaldun outlined that the affective aspect (khuluqiyyah) is change which includes awareness, feelings and mental attitudes. Among these changes is the manifestation of mahmudah (good) qualities. As servants of Allah, humans, in this case students, must be grateful to Allah SWT. as explained in the Qur'an regarding Allah's appreciation for grateful humans in QS. Ibrahim: 7. The use of learning media is an attraction in itself and a motivation for learning. In previous research, researchers found students' enthusiastic attitudes when learning using learning media.  As in the realm of affection, it is not only presented theoretically, but is accompanied by concrete examples so that the meaning can be appreciated and then reflected in one's mental life. So, with this high level of enthusiasm in using learning media, does it also give rise to a mental awareness of gratitude in IT Yaspida Middle School students, as a form of instilling affectional values to become a reference and contribute to the novelty of Islamic educational knowledge. The objectives of this article are: 1) Knowing what is meant by learning media; 2) Know what is meant by students' gratitude; 3) Knowing the effect of using learning media on students' feelings of gratitude. The methodology used is a quantitative regression approach which not only connects the two variables, but also finds out the influence of both. From the calculation stage carried out to obtain the decision results, it is known that the calculated t value is 5.066 > t table 2.042, so the results of this research are that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, with supporting analysis of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.461 which shows that there is a positive influence between the independent variables ( learning media) on the attachment variable (feeling of gratitude) of 46.1%. This means that there is a positive influence between learning media (X) and students' feelings of gratitude (Y).

Abstract

The moral crisis plaguing modern society requires a philosophical reference that can offer ethical and profound solutions. One important figure in the classical Islamic philosophy who is relevant in this context is Ibn Miskawaih. This research aims to deeply examine Ibn Miskawaih’s ethical thought and its relevance to contemporary moral education. Using the library research method and a descriptive qualitative approach, this study reviews Ibn Miskawaih's main work, Tahdzīb al-Akhlāq wa Taṭhīr al-Aʿrāq, as well as relevant secondary literature. The research results indicate that Ibn Miskawaih's ethical thought emphasizes the integration of Greek philosophical rationality, especially Aristotelianism, with Islamic moral values. He underscores the importance of reason, moral habituation, and the purification of the soul as the foundation for the formation of the ideal human character (insān kāmil). His rational and spiritual approach makes ethics not only a guideline for individuals but also a pillar of harmonious social life. The implications of these findings suggest that Ibn Miskawaih's concept of ethics is still very relevant in shaping sustainable and transformative character education in the modern era

Abstract

The aim of this research is to comprehensively reveal the historical picture of the Shia during the Fathimiyyah dynasty and its continuity in influencing the pattern of Islamic education at Al-Azhar University in Cairo at that time. This research was conducted in descriptive qualitative form using the library study method, with data analysis sourced from existing texts or manuscripts, the data used was ready to use without going directly into the field, data collection in the research was carried out by reviewing and/or exploring several journals, books , and documents. The results of this research found that the Shia who developed during the Fathimiyyah period, especially during the development of civilization at Al-Azhar University, were Ismailiyyah Shia, where the Shia believed in twelve Imams, who did not deviate at all or even destroy the Islamic ideology that should be implemented. The influence on Al-Azhar University is of course very large, because the intellectual figures who fill the sections at AL-Azhar University have Shia Ismailiyah backgrounds so the impact of their thought and practice backgrounds refers to the seven pillars, namely: 1) Faith, 2) Taharah; 3) Prayer; 4) Zakat; 5) Shaum; 6) Hajj, and 7) Jihad. This condition has implications for the steadfastness and good academic culture that is always massive, the initial emergence of educational developments pioneered by Ibn Killis who has an Ismaili Shia ideology

Abstract

Educational accreditation in the post-pandemic era has shifted toward Outcome-Based Accreditation, yet many Islamic institutions remain trapped in administrative formalities that fail to measure substantive character growth. While recent literature (2021-2024) emphasizes digital quality assurance, a critical research gap persists: there is a lack of empirical models showing how Total Quality Management can be synthesized with traditional pesantren-based curricula to meet the rigorous Graduate Competence Standards mandated by terbaru regulations like Permendikbudristek No. 28 of 2021. This study analyzes the "Ramadan Academy" at SMA Plus Yaspida Sukabumi, evaluating its role as a strategic catalyst for "Superior Accreditation". Beyond mere procedural description, this research scrutinizes the structural convergence between the PDCA cycle and spiritual habituation. The novelty lies in the transformation of religious activities—muhadhoroh and tadarus—into a measurable "character laboratory" that generates high-fidelity data for stakeholder satisfaction and output effectiveness. However, a limitation is noted in the institutional-specific nature of the integration, which requires strong instructional leadership to synchronize school and pesantren schedules. This analysis concludes that TQM does not secularize religious education but rather provides the meticulousness (itqan) necessary to validate spiritual outcomes within a globalized, data-driven accreditation landscape.
