Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai bagaimana PjBL dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi PjBL di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X dan XI serta guru di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Teknik pengambilan data meliputi observasi langsung selama proses pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan guru, serta analisis dokumen seperti rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan hasil proyek siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema yang muncul dari data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, dan memperkuat keterampilan kolaboratif. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan sintesis informasi melalui proyek-proyek yang diberikan. Guru berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dalam mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri. Temuan ini mendukung hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa PjBL efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif siswa. Kesimpulannya, PjBL merupakan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang, dengan dukungan perencanaan yang baik dan bimbingan guru yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using e-learning in accounting education at SMK Tulungagung. The research method employed is qualitative, utilising in-depth interview techniques with teachers and students to collect data on experiences and challenges in implementing e-learning. The findings indicate that e-learning provides beneficial flexibility in time and place, especially during the pandemic. However, there are obstacles in understanding complex accounting concepts and technology access disparities among students. Student responses varied, with some feeling enthusiastic and others encountering difficulties. Teacher support, interactive materials, and regular feedback proved crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of e-learning. To maximise the benefits of e-learning, there needs to be improved technology access, integration of interactive teaching methods, and direct teacher support. This study suggests strategies to overcome challenges and leverage e-learning as an effective tool in accounting education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the student-centered learning approach in improving academic achievement in elementary schools in Jombang Regency. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving students and teachers participating in the learning process. The findings indicate that the student-centered learning approach significantly contributes to enhancing students' understanding and academic performance. Students engaged in this method were more active, highly motivated, and demonstrated improvements in critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teachers also experienced positive impacts in increasing student participation, although they faced challenges such as time constraints and the need to adapt teaching methods. The study concludes that student-centered learning can be an effective strategy for improving the quality of education in elementary schools. To ensure its success, support from various stakeholders is needed, including teacher training and the provision of adequate learning resources.

Abstract

Developing countries face significant structural and institutional challenges in achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13, which calls for urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. This article explores the critical link between legal reform and climate action, emphasizing the role of the rule of law as a transformative instrument to accelerate the implementation of equitable and sustainable climate policies. Using a juridical-normative approach combined with international legal policy analysis, the study examines how legal instruments can be adapted and strengthened to enhance the systemic capacity of developing nations in responding to the climate crisis. The findings reveal that countries in the Global South that pursue progressive legal reforms particularly in the areas of environmental protection and resource governance are demonstrably more effective in implementing climate strategies. These reforms, grounded in principles of transparency, public participation, and ecological justice, contribute to institutional resilience and legal accountability. The study argues for a greater integration between national legal frameworks and global climate commitments, in order to establish an inclusive and responsive legal ecosystem that enables sustainable development and climate resilience. Strengthening the rule of law thus emerges as a foundational strategy for bridging the gap between climate pledges and practical implementation

Abstract

Achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) necessitates not only increased financial investments in health services but also the establishment of strong governance and accountability mechanisms that ensure equity, transparency, and system-wide efficiency. This article offers a comparative analysis of health system governance reforms in three middle-income Southeast Asian countries Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam each of which has undertaken distinct strategies to accelerate UHC implementation. Using a qualitative policy analysis approach, the study examines institutional reforms, decentralization processes, regulatory innovations, and performance-based accountability tools that have shaped national health agendas. The findings indicate that while all three countries have expanded access to healthcare, the outcomes of governance reforms vary significantly based on factors such as political leadership, subnational administrative capacity, and policy coherence. Indonesia’s efforts in strategic purchasing, the Philippines’ enactment of the Universal Health Care Act, and Vietnam’s emphasis on digital governance and financial transparency each offer context-specific insights into effective reform. Nonetheless, ongoing challenges such as local-level disparities, fragmented data systems, and limited stakeholder influence persist. The article concludes that governance should be viewed not as a peripheral concern but as a central pillar of UHC. Its findings are intended to inform both regional and global policy dialogues on building resilient and accountable health systems.

Abstract

This study examines the mechanisms of constitutional interpretation within Islamic and Western legal traditions, focusing on their foundational principles, interpretive tools, and institutional actors. Western constitutional systems are typically grounded in secularism, liberal democracy, and popular sovereignty, where interpretation evolves through judicial reasoning, often guided by theories such as originalism, textualism, or living constitutionalism. In contrast, Islamic constitutionalism draws legitimacy from divine revelation, with the Qur’an and Sunnah forming the core sources of law. Interpretation in Islamic legal frameworks involves usul al-fiqh, maqasid al-shariah, and ijtihad, aiming to preserve divine intent while addressing contemporary realities. Using a library research method, this paper analyzes key differences and points of convergence between the two systems. It finds that Western systems grant primary interpretive authority to courts, while Islamic models often involve religious scholars alongside state institutions. The flexibility of interpretation also varies, with Western systems emphasizing legal evolution, whereas Islamic systems emphasize preservation of ethical and theological principles. This study contributes to the discourse on legal pluralism, highlighting challenges and opportunities in integrating Islamic and constitutional norms. It offers insights for legal scholars, policymakers, and constitutional drafters working within or across pluralistic legal environments in Muslim-majority countries.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the current use of learning equipment, identify possible obstacles, and propose strategies or recommendations to maximize the use of learning equipment so that education at MAN 2 Tulungagung can be more effective, relevant and of high quality. This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis through data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the majority of teachers still rely on textbooks, while limited internet access, lack of teacher training in technology, and availability of devices are obstacles. Recommendations include improving technology access and teacher training, as well as collaboration between teachers and students in the development of digital learning content. It is hoped that these steps will maximize the use of learning equipment, creating a more effective, relevant and quality learning environment in line with the demands of an increasingly digitalized era. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai bagaimana PjBL dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi PjBL di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X dan XI serta guru di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Teknik pengambilan data meliputi observasi langsung selama proses pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan guru, serta analisis dokumen seperti rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan hasil proyek siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema yang muncul dari data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, dan memperkuat keterampilan kolaboratif. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan sintesis informasi melalui proyek-proyek yang diberikan. Guru berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dalam mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri. Temuan ini mendukung hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa PjBL efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif siswa. Kesimpulannya, PjBL merupakan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang, dengan dukungan perencanaan yang baik dan bimbingan guru yang efektif.

Abstract

In today’s increasingly interconnected and multicultural world, religious diversity presents both opportunities and challenges to social cohesion. Religious moderation emerges as a critical approach to fostering mutual respect, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among communities with differing beliefs and practices. This study explores strategies and best practices in implementing religious moderation as a tool to strengthen intergroup harmony and reduce religion-based conflicts in pluralistic societies. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical method supported by literature reviews, policy analyses, and case studies, this research identifies three key dimensions: (1) educational approaches that integrate moderation values into formal and informal curricula, (2) community-based initiatives that facilitate interfaith dialogue and collaborative problem-solving, and (3) government-led policies and legal frameworks that support inclusivity and protect minority rights. The findings reveal that societies adopting a holistic, multi-stakeholder approach to religious moderation demonstrate higher levels of trust, reduced polarization, and sustainable peace. This study highlights the need for cross-sector collaboration between policymakers, educators, religious leaders, and civil society actors to build a culture of mutual understanding and respect.
