Abstract

The dynamics of education are always faced with problems, both related to government policy and other aspects of the educational component itself. Teachers' problems in teaching, starting from the use of media, methods, and the evaluation process, still often encounter obstacles. Researchers can overcome problems and find solutions scientifically through research and development (R&D). The purpose of writing this article is to explain the R&D research model along with its type and role in PAI learning that requires innovation in the understanding and practice of Islamic values.The data collection method uses library research with data analysis techniques through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the R&D model is a research method that focuses on developing products in the form of media or methods to improve the quality of learning. There are various types of R&D development models, including the Borg and Gall model, the Sadiman model, the ADDIE model, the Dick & Carey model, and the Ministry of National Education's Pustekkom model. Each development model has steps that are arranged systematically and structured. In general, these types of R&D models have steps that include problem analysis, product development design, implementation, and evaluation. Regarding the implementation, researchers sometimes modify the development model into simpler steps based on needs analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang distorsi gerakan radikalisme yang menyasar pesantren. Pesantren sering kali diberi kesan sebagai lembaga yang mencetak kader-kader radikal. Hal tersebut merupakan konsekuensi dari peristiwa pengeboman yang terjadi di WTC Amerika Serikat dan Bom Bali. Pesantren di Indonesia dalam memberikan pengajaran kepada santri sangat bertolak belakang dengan nilai-nilai radikalisme yang diasumsikan oleh orang Barat terhadap dunia Islam. Berangkat dari permasalahan di atas, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan kajian mendalam tentang anatomi gerakan radikalisme Islam di pesantren. Untuk mengupas hal tersebut, penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research untuk mengumpulkan data yang selaras dengan tema yang sedang penulis kaji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman pesantren sebagai sarang radikalisme merupakan sebuah distorsi. Dalam perdebatannya, pesantren mengajarkan nilai-nilai Rohmatan lil alamin yang dalam hal ini sangat bertolak belakang dengan ajaran radikalisme.

Abstract

Phenomenon bullying is widespread in various aspects of life, especially among school-aged children. Case bullying which is increasing every year, which has a negative impact on the victims, perpetrators and witnesses involved. To reduce the number of acts of violence bullying requires various strategies, both preventive and repressive, that must be carried out by educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach method with library study data collection techniques (library research), namely collecting relevant information from various sources and analyzing it to obtain a credible and comprehensive theoretical study. The research results show that bullying is an act of intimidation or violence carried out by an individual or group to physically or psychologically injure the victim with an element of intention. In the Islamic view, bullying is a disgraceful act as stated in the QS. al-Hujurat verse 11 which emphasizes the prohibition of degrading other people because humans have no right to judge other people on any basis. The strategies for overcoming bullying in schools from a counseling and education perspective include: 1) providing education about bullying, 2) establish strict related rules bullying, 3) being a good role model, 4) providing support to the victim, 5) helping the perpetrator to stop, and 6) detecting the act bullying since early stage. Meanwhile, the strategies offered by Islam include: 1) patience and forgiveness (ta’limus shobri wal ‘afwu), 2) reconcile each other (al-ishlah), 3) grow self-confidence, and 4) al-mauidzah al-hasanah.

Abstract

The quality of education in the era of digital transformation brings its own challenges for educational institutions to be adaptive to technological advances and changes in student needs. In reality, there are still many educational institutions that do not have a structured and sustainable quality management system. Total Quality Management (TQM) is present as a managerial instrument that helps educational institutions in managing educational services optimally in order to provide satisfaction to customers so that they can achieve the expected quality. This study aims to examine the strategy for improving the quality of education in the digital era through the implementation of TQM. The method used is a literature study by collecting sources from books or scientific articles that are relevant to the research theme. The results of the study show that the strategy for improving the quality of education in the digital era can be carried out by applying the principles of TQM which include a focus on customer satisfaction, appreciation for individual contributions, fact-based management, and continuous improvement. However, its implementation is inseparable from various challenges such as the digital literacy gap, resistance to change, and limited infrastructure facilities. Solutions that can be taken to overcome these challenges include digital literacy training, strengthening an adaptive culture, and providing adequate infrastructure. By implementing TQM optimally, educational institutions are expected to be able to build a quality and globally competitive learning system.

Abstract

Education must adapt to technological developments in order to maximize both the challenges and benefits that arise. The integration of digital technology in classroom learning has become one of the important innovations in contemporary learning. This article describes research and development of Android-based fiqh learning media designed to improve the learning outcomes of 10th grade students in Islamic high schools. This study used an R&D method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages from analysis to evaluation. The resulting product is an Android application called Baitullah, which focuses on Hajj and Umrah material. This product was declared highly feasible by three validators, with a percentage of 95% from subject matter experts, 96% from media experts, and 97% from learning practitioners. The responses of 20 students regarding the attractiveness of the product reached a percentage of 87% in the very attractive category. The N-Gain value was recorded at 0.59, indicating sufficient effectiveness. The t-test also yielded a p-value < 0,001, thus rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. It can be concluded from the analysis that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes after using the product, indicating that the Android-based fiqh learning media is effective for learning.
