Abstract

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the University of Timor is a student organization located at the State University of Timor. In its implementation, BEM at the University of Timor acts as a forum or means for all students of the University of Timor to be able to express their opinions and to develop various potentials that students have. The election of the chairman of the BEM of the University of Timor is directly elected by the students by a general election process. The process of selecting the chairman of the BEM is still done manually so that there is a lack of interest from voters to participate because they have to go to the polling station. Therefore, the development of information technology today has brought great changes for humans, including to carry out voting so that the term e-voting (electronic voting) appears which provides convenience in voting. E-Voting is a general election process that utilizes information technology facilities or electronic devices, where part or all of the implementation process, from voter registration, voting, to vote counting, is carried out digitally. The function of voting is to gather the aspirations of all students, and then find a way out that is considered a good cross. Therefore, the researchers helped the election system easily and created an application for the election with the title "E-voting for the election of the chairman of the Mobile-based Student Executive Board (BEM) of the University of Timor using the waterfal method".

Abstract

Since Allah's command is only contingent upon a specific set of intents and conditions, fasting during Ramadan entails abstaining from anything that is prohibited from sunrise to sunset. assisting Muslims in performing their religious duties during the month of Ramadan so they can learn about any advice or knowledge regarding fasting during the entire month of Ramadan and determine if the advice or knowledge agrees with the genuine teachings of Islam or not. During the month of Ramadan, when fasting is required, the public will consult religious authorities for advice and information on a variety of topics. Worship is less than ideal due to the absence of mosques in existence, the limited time and location for meetings with religious authorities, and other factors. The research approach used in this study is the Mobile-D method, which is a branch of development based on mobile-based software. The outcomes of this research are an Android-Based Ramadan Fasting Implementation Guide Application, which can make it simpler for Muslims to access information about Ramadan fasting, Eid, zakat fitrah guidelines, Ramadan sunnah prayers, fasting schedule guides, and prayers during the month of Ramadan with the application developed by this author.

Abstract

The number of diseases in tomatoes today can make farmers confused in determining or choosing the type of treatment that suits the tomato disease. This what makes farmers in K district North Central Timor it's hard to get results because they can't consult with experts , so that the level of productivity decreases. -based expert system web can be used to solve problems in terms of helping each farmer in dealing with pests and diseases . The method used in diagnosing is disease in tomato plants is a method bayes theorem , where each alternative provided will be give the value of the hypothesis to get the best results. Hypothesis value in tomato disease ranges from 1 to 0.1 where for hypothesis value 1 is a hypothetical value which shows that the results of this value prove that tomato plants are very specific to diseases and pests while hypothesis value 0.1 indicates that there is no specific for pests and diseases but is found in other diseases. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the system expert which is built is expected to be able to help farmers in Diagnosing diseases and pests on tomato plants in accordance with calculation results bayes obtained.

Abstract

Sekolah Sekolah Menengah Atas adalah jenjang pendidikan menengah pada pendidikan formal di Indonesia. Proses penjurusan bagi siswa SMA selama ini biasanya berpedoman pada nilai akademik siswa. Kriteria penentu penjurusan pada SMA Negeri 1 Malaka Barat Besikama adalah nilai rata-rata Ujian Nasional, nilai ujian sekolah IPA, nilai ujian sekolah IPS , dan nilai test. Berdasarkan kurikulum yang berlaku saat ini yaitu kurikulum 2013 proses penjurusan siswa di lakukan pada awal kelas X. Terlebihnya penjurusan dilakukan secara manual dan memerlukan banyak waktu, tidak efisien dan sering terjadi kesalahan dalam proses penjurusan yang dilakukan.  Proses penjurusan harusnya dilakukan dengan didasarkan pada data yang akurat berbasis komputer sebagai dasar pemberian keputusan dalam proses penjurusan. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan adalah sebuah sistem yang mampu memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah maupun kemampuan pengkomunikasian untuk masalah dengan kondisi semi terstruktur dan tak terstruktur. Salah satu metode yang dipakai dalam proses pengambilan keputusan adalah Metode Weighted Product (WP) yaitu merupakan metode pengambilan keputusan dengan cara perkalian untuk menghubungkan rating atribut, dimana rating setiap atribut harus dipangkatkan dulu dengan bobot atribut yang bersangkutan Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web serta cara penggunaan metode weighted product pada proses penjurusan siswa dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan menggunakan metode weighted product yang hasilkan dapat digunakan oleh pihak sekolah dalam mengambil keputusan secara cepat dan tepat dalam menentukan jurusan pada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to assist human work in knowing the decision support system for determining outstanding teachers using the topsis method using the Multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) decision making method which is used to evaluate or select several alternatives as a decision support system using one method, namely the The trick for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). This method is widely used to solve practical decision-making. This is because the concept is simple and easy to understand, computation is efficient, and has the ability to measure the relative performance of decision alternatives. There are 5 criteria used in determining outstanding teachers, namely pedagogic, personality, professional, social and innovation. From the results of calculations using the cicue for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method, the teacher who was selected as an outstanding teacher was Elisabeth Abi S.PD SD with a score of 0.825. Thecnicue for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method makes it easy to determine outstanding teachers at the youth and sports education office at TTU, this is web-based and uses the PHP programming language.

Abstract

Pada pemilihan calon kepala desa, perlu adanya suatu penilaian terhadap calon kepala desa apakah layak atau tidak. BPD (Badan Permusyawaratan Desa) Oesena telah menetapkan standar penilaian dalam pemilihan calon kepala desa sejak awal pemilihan sampai saat ini. Pemilihan dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan antara lain, Pendidikan, Pengalaman Kerja, Perilaku, Usia, dan Status Penduduk. Pada Penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan dengan mengunakan metode AHP. Dari hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa nilai akhir lima calon kepala desa adalah Dion dengan nilai 0,27468, Maria dengan nilai 0,27012, Samuel dengan nilai 0,24273, Nofrianto dengan nilai 0,23921, dan Wina dengan nilai 0,21417.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan siswa berprestasi. Penerapan penentuan siswa berprestasi di SMK Negeri 1 Kefamenanu dengan mengambil nilai rata-rata dari semua aspek penilaian memiliki kelemahan. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh tidak objektif, dengan adanya permasalahan tujuan penelitian adalah merancang dan membangun sistem pendukung keputusan dalam penentuan siswa berprestasi dengan menggunakan metode profile matching untuk mempermudah dalam menentukan siswa berprestasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menentukan aspek-aspek selanjutnya, cari nilai bobot masing-masing aspek dan mencari GAP antara profile dengan informasi negara dari setiap siswa kemudian ditotalkan dan melakukan proses perangkingan yang akan menentukan hasil yang objektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode Profile Matching dapat membantu dalam menentukan 3 alternatif terbaik dari 10 alternatif siswa, pengujian blackbox testing menunjukkan fungsionalitas sistem valid.

Abstract

not spread evenly among the people. Most people still use traditional methods and depend on the uncertain climate to meet their food needs, such as vegetables and fruits. Based on this, an Internet of Things (IoT) based Smart Greenhouse Design with Arduino Uno Microcontroller was created as a solution that is expected to help make it easier for farmers to cultivate plants. The greenhouse is a building that has the function to protect plants from external disturbances such as pests, heavy rain, strong winds, and excessive humidity. Meanwhile, what is called a smart greenhouse that uses technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT), is designed to automatically monitoring uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller as the control center for each sensor used, namely DHT22 (air temperature and humidity sensor), Soil Moisture (soil moisture sensor), GUVA-S12SD (UV light intensity sensor). The sensor will obtain the required data and will be automatically sent to the server (blynk application) with the help of ESP8266 (wifi module). The method used in this study is engineering design in the manufacture of the automation system. The results of this research are in the form of a smart greenhouse that can regulate, adjust, and modify the climate to optimize the conditions and processes of plant growth in the greenhouse equipment through microcontrollers and monitoring devices such as sensors and can be controlled remotely via mobile phones or computers everywhere.

Abstract

Thesis is a scientific work and one of the graduation requirements for students in tertiary institutions. The process of implementing the thesis at the Information Technology Study Program at the University of Timor is still done manually, starting from submitting titles to data processing which allows for duplicate titles, difficulty finding data and losing data. For this reason, a system is needed to avoid the risk of duplicate titles and difficulty finding the data. So in this study an information system will be built to detect the similarity of the title of the final project (Thesis) using the incremental method and the Jaccard similarity algorithm as a plagiarism detection algorithm. The application of the incremental method is due to its flexible nature and less risk of failure than other development methods. System testing is carried out on the functional system and using the User Acceptance Test. Based on the test results, this system facilitates Study Programs in submitting final assignment titles, finding final assignment data, minimizing the risk of duplicate titles through the Title Similarity Percentage testing feature to find out the highest level of similarity based on thesis title category and avoiding data loss.
