Abstract

The COVID-19 emergency period changed the education system in Indonesia in a very short time, requiring every student to study remotely. Of course this encourages teachers to innovate and policy makers in this case the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia to make adjustments during the COVID-19 pandemic by changing some rules by issuing circular letter number 2 of 2020 regarding the prevention and handling of COVID-19 in the environment. Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as circular letter number 3 of 2020 regarding the prevention of COVID-19 in education units. The readiness of schools in implementing distance learning received various positive and negative responses from various elements of society. The readiness of teachers in the implementation of online education has not been maximized, this is due to the lack of knowledge in the field of Information Technology. Therefore, to support government policies in implementing distance learning and minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, teachers need to be equipped with e-learning implementation. Teachers are expected to be able to compile learning materials using online e-learning using the Edmodo platform so that teachers are not only fixated on one learning model using conventional models

Abstract

The service quality of a Community Health Center does have a great impact on the patients' satisfaction. The Maubesi Community Health Center is one of the health services centers in Maubesi Village which serves a number of six surrounding villages. Given that many patients are making use of this health center, the service quality of the medical staff is of course quite essential.   Patients' satisfaction is the primary factor which becomes the image benchmark of a community health center.  Up to now, patients' satisfaction is measured in the conventional way, namely by writing on papers. The use òf paper certainly makes it hectic when the time for data compilation and analysis processing is due. To overcome this problem, the researcher developed a website-based information system (SISKESAN) to measure patients' satisfaction level at Maubesi Community Health Center.  SISKESAN was developed based on website, to make it easy whenever and wherever the data  is to be accessed. The system employs Service Quality Method (Servqual) to measure patients' satisfaction level using hope and fact values. To set up this system the researcher made use of Waterfall Method known as measurable gradual stages. By implementing SISKESAN at Maubesi Community Health Center, the patients' satisfaction level becomes easier in measurement. Patients can easily access the website and fill in the questionnaires prepared in the system. The result can be straightly seen by the staff in charge and it will become the benchmark for future policy making.

Abstract

Insana Woven Fabric is a local craft originating from NTT whose manufacturing technique is by embroidering this woven fabric made in a maubesi village located in the TTU district area by the UMKM kube motif group. For the sales method, usually directly, namely from home, some are taken to traditional markets or there are several customers who are outside the NTT area who usually place orders through social media such as Facebook, this causes inefficient sales. The shortcomings of the sales method via social media are information about stock items that still have to be updated manually by the admin so that stock information is not necessarily valid due to human error, for the purchase history must also be recorded manually through the comment column or inbox on social media which results in the craft manager having difficulty in managing financial information.  Based on the existing conditions, it is necessary to engineer an Online Sales Application of Typical Local Crafts of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Maubesi Village Case Study. This application is made using android, so that it can be used as an alternative to help the Maubesi village community in selling local handicrafts of the NTT community so that this umkm group is more efficient in the sales process and reaches all buyers inside and outside the NTT area. the method used is waterfall where this implies that the community is more efficient in selling local handicrafts.

Abstract

The library at SMK Negeri 1 Atambua still employs a conventional management system for tasks such as new member registration, book inventory recording, book lending, and others. This approach is, of course, lacking in supporting convenience and transaction effectiveness between library members and staff. Therefore, there is a need for a web-based library information system that can facilitate both students and teachers in accessing the library application as a provider of information and knowledge services. In developing this system, the waterfall methodology is employed. The library information system utilizes PHP programming and the Laravel framework, with MySQL as the database. The result of this research is a web-based library information system that can assist students, teachers, and library staff in better library management and administration compared to the previous conventional system.

Abstract

The current precision farming system is the right step in an effort to increase production or yield from the farm, one of which is the importance of a control system for feeding and measuring water quality in catfish farming. The farmer group in Oetalus village, northern TTU district is a farmer Nababan, et al. PkM Sistem Monitoring Kolam Lele Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) pada Kelompok Tani Tnoposeo 1 Desa Oetalus Copyright © 2024 Nababan, et al. Published by Institute for Research and Community Service, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. This articles is licensed under a Creative Common Attribution-NonCommercial-Share Alike 4.0 International License. 76 group that cultivates catfish traditionally, with a traditional farming system, various problems arise such as poor water quality, the presence of dead catfish due to catfish that have a cannibal system so that the production of farmers is less than optimal. In overcoming these problems, the PkM team provides a solution by developing an aquuture system with the support of the Internet of Things (IoT) for feeding and measuring water quality. The PkM method is carried out by means of socialization and direct training for making automatic feed and monitoring water quality. The location of the PkM implementation is about 7 Km with a total of 20 farmer groups. The catfish feed control system is carried out with the support of smartphones and telegram applications. From the evaluation of this activity, in general, farmer groups feel helped with a satisfaction level of 90% but there are still various obstacles related to network conditions and understanding of farmer groups related to IoT so that consistent assistance is needed to support future precision agriculture / livestock systems.

Abstract

Perpustakaan pada SMK Negeri 1 Atambua masih menerapkan cara pengelolaan tradisional, termasuk dalam registrasi anggota baru, pencatatan koleksi buku, proses peminjaman, dan aspek lainnya. Pendekatan ini tidak optimal dalam memfasilitasi interaksi yang efisien antara anggota dan pegawai perpustakaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adopsi sistem pengelolaan perpustakaan berbasis website guna mempermudah akses bagi siswa dan guru dalam menggunakan layanan perpustakaan sebagai sumber informasi dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini mengusung metode waterfall untuk mengembangkan sistem tersebut. Sistem pengelolaan perpustakaan ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel, dan database MySQL. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis website yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan dan manajemen perpustakaan bagi siswa, guru, dan petugas, jika dibandingkan dengan sistem konvensional sebelumnya.

Abstract

PKH is a program launched in 2007. The main aim of PKH is to work on the nature of human resources, especially in the fields of education and welfare for low-income families. . Distribution of PKH aid has also been distributed to North Central Timor Regency. Guarantees for social assistance recipients still use manual techniques which only carry out assessments without estimates so that aid is not distributed on track. Therefore, a system that facilitates the process for receiving PKH benefits is very important. Next, the researcher designed a system that supports making decisions using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) with predetermined steps. These two approaches will be compared to determine the best method for PKH beneficiaries in the hope that this can help determine which beneficiary is more suitable and appropriate. This analysis was carried out by involving the degree of accuracy of each method in dealing with cases as a reference source. The similarity level effect of the AHP strategy is equivalent to TOPSIS so that both methodologies can be utilized in dealing with the problem of determining PKH recipients. Abstract

Penggunaan smartphone dalam masa pandemi covid-19 ini dapat membantu siswa dan guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Namun kegiatan belajar mengajar siswa dan guru dalam masa pandemi covid-19 ini kurang efesien. Menanggapi masalah di atas maka dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android pada pelajaran Biologi untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE digunakan dalam mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android pada pelajaran biologi kelas 1 SMA. Hasil pengujian kelayakan media pembelajaran oleh ahli materi menunjukkan 88%, untuk ahli media menunjukkan 83%, dan penilaian siswa terhadap media pembelajaran adalah 87%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian ini maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif berbasis android pada Pelajaran Biologi layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Climate change causes an increase in global temperature, which results in rising sea levels and threatens many cities in the future, including Jakarta. Carbon emissions are the primary cause of climate change, which is difficult to reduce. Forests can act as a natural filter for carbon emissions, but deforestation still occurs for various reasons. The author and their team propose a solution by creating an application called "Eden" that uses gamification to encourage users to develop a habit of planting trees. This application encourages the public to participate in saving the earth from global warming and climate change by planting trees around their homes, which can filter some of the carbon emissions in their environment.

Abstract

Technology is growing rapidly and has covered almost all areas of life, one of which is education. The learning process at Yaperna Tuamese Elementary School is still experiencing problems in providing learning media and dealing with students who are left behind in material due to illness or activities outside of school. The learning process only uses textbooks in front of the classroom with so few book packages, so students feel bored and lazy to study. So while the concentration on students must be directed specifically at science subjects. Through an Android-based interactive multimedia learning application, students can explore the material independently. The designed media includes text, images, audio, and video to help teachers prepare learning media and maintain students' attention and concentration on lessons. Rapid Application Development (RAD) with 4D mode is the configuration method used. Through the results that have been tested, users feel more interested and more easily understand material with interactive multimedia than those who are used to using textbooks.
