<![CDATA[The convenience that is currently obtained in doing work is the role of rapidly developing technology and the need to complete a job quickly. It is undeniable that there are still many people who are very reluctant to technology use. This reluctance can be caused by lack of will learning or inadequate facilities and the absence of motivating or construction. Guidance on the use of application software aims to make Church administrators Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Rawa Indah RT.03 RW.12 No.10 Kibing Batu Aji can understand how to use application software, namely Microsoft office excel to assist in how to use application software for good church activities in the form of making good financial reports, good invitation letters and others etc. The method of service carried out is by providing material about the use of application software in the form of tutorials that are made simply with easy-to-understand steps and direct practice and accompanied by a coaching team in addition to that will be given training to evaluate the level of understanding of the coaching participants. Therefore, application software development it will be indispensable for church administrators who are interested in studying it. The main target of this development is to create a society that can implement technology, especially application software to make it easier to work on work, especially in financial reporting by utilizing software application and understand how to use the application software. Results dedication shows that the targets set can be achieved, namely the management GBI Rawa Indah church can apply Microsoft Excel to make reports finance.]]>

<![CDATA[The housing that is currently being built usually only has a small septic tank, which can lead to problems with the tank if the tank is full. Starting from the blocked septic tank can even explode. The purpose of this research is to make prototype in monitoring a tank in a septic tank with Message Gateway. The tools used in this study are Arduino Uno which is tntegrated with ultrasonic sensors, MQ-2 sensors and SIM800L Modules, after which the LCD receives data from Arduino and is displayed on the LCD followed by a LED light. And fro SIM800L it will automatically send a short message. The result of this research if this study after Arduino processed data from the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor and MQ-2 Sensor then the sensor sent a signal to SIM800L and SIM800L sent a Message to the user with a warning of 30%, 50% and 100% water level septic tank. The MQ-2 sensor can only detect gas in the septic tank, if the gas in the septic tank is more than 15.000 ppm it will automatically send a Message to the user that the Danger Gas, which indicates that this prototype has been running as expectedDOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v3i2.4404]]>

<![CDATA[The increasing purchasing power of consumers in purchasing products at large stores nowadays often displays only samples of goods. So that customers often feel confused to see in detail the form of goods to be purchased, so that customers often feel confused and seek employees to ask questions about the details of the item to be purchased. The main objective of this research is to create, design and build a front end database server that is useful for consumers in increasing customer convenience in shopping at the mini-market retail business. The use of the application that will be made is in the form of a barcode scanning feature wherein each individual there is information in the form of item details such as id, name, dimensions, quantity, colour, price, and images of goods obtained from the scanned items that have been entered into their respective identities description of goods. The app also features a fast checkout feature. The use of this application can be searched using an internet application. It can be accessed wherever the customer is because the cashier programming is directly connected to the web server provided by the supermarket.]]>

<![CDATA[In every organization or company there are always obstacles in the process of achieving performance. It should be understood that the expected performance of an employee is not easy because it is influenced by various factors of compensation, satisfaction, motivation, work environment, and many other factors. Based on these factors, a study was conducted under the title Effect of Work Environment on Fire Performance in Batam City. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on fire fighting performance in Batam City. The data analysis method used is a simple linear regression statistical analysis and uses the t test to analyze the closeness of the relationship of individual variables, while testing the instrument using the validity test and reliability Statistical test results show that the relationship of the work environment to employee performance is positive (unidirectional). Based on the t test results obtained a significant value of 5% then H1 is accepted or H0 is rejected. This means that the work environment, which in this study was discussed more will the availability of hydrant affect the performance of firefighters in Batam City.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of information technology is very rapid, one of which is the use of the internet for e-commerce and the use of hotspots. E-commerce has many benefits that are very likely to be realized currently. The implementation of community service activities for residents of Setengar village RT 05 RW 10 Tanjung Piayu by providing hotspot services as well as fostering the use of e-commerce and hotspot implementation aims to make residents have hotspot services and know and understand how to use e-commerce sites as a comparison reference. the price of an item or product. The specific target of the implementation of coaching in community service activities is that residents can take advantage of existing hotspot facilities to make online purchases from e-commerce sites, what are the steps for the shopping process and how to process transactions and what is needed when doing online shopping. The service team provides material and provides direct practice to coaching participants with the aim of all participants understanding the material presented by the service team. The process of implementing the activities will be carried out in several meetings by providing materials on the introduction of hotspots and how to install them and how to take advantage of hotspots and e-commerce. At each meeting the service team will evaluate and determine the sustainability of the coaching after the service activities that have been held for four meetings have been completed. The service team introduced the devices needed for hotspot installation, namely an access point router and provided installation training as well as introduced to residents some examples of the best and most trusted e-commerce sites, namely Bukalapak, Lazada, Tokopedia, OLX Indonesia, and elevenia.]]>

<![CDATA[Batu Aji merupakan salah satu daerah di Batam yang memiliki penduduk yang padat danberkembang. Pada daerah yang masih berkembang tersebut, pengelolaan lingkungan berupa konsepringkas, resik, rapi, rajin, rawat masih belum optimal. Hal ini karena masalah kedisiplinan masyarakatbelum tertanam dengan baik. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk menciptakan budaya yang positiftersebut adalah dengan cara menerapkan dan mengimplementasikan aktivitas 5R. Aktivitas kegiatan 5Radalah budaya yang dapat digunakan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat terkait aktivitas sehari-hari maupunaktivitas resmi. Prinsip kegiatan 5R adalah menerapkan kegiatan dengan prinsip Resik, Rapi, Ringkas, Rajin,dan Rawat. Meskipun budaya 5R nampak mudah untuk dilaksanakan, tetapi dalam pelaksaaan danpenerapannya sangat dibutuhkan adanya konsistensi dan kedisiplinan sehingga diperlukan adanyapengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan tim pengabdi masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatandidapatkan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman semakin bertambah setelah diberikan pembinaan.Masyarakat juga berpendapat bahwa kegiatan 5R jika dilakukan secara konsisten dapat menjadikankebiasaan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pembinaan ini harus dilakukan secara konsisten di masayang akan datang. Beberapa point lainnya yang perlu diperhatikan adalah adanya rencana dari timpengabdi masyarakat memberikan salah satu bentuk produk untuk mendukung kegiatan 5R yaitu berupaproduk kantong plastik sampah pada beberapa keluarga di Kelurahan Kibing sebagai bentuk memfasilitasikegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat]]>

<![CDATA[We all know that since the number of Covid-19 cases has increased in Indonesia, many problems have arisen in society. Covid-19 has crippled the socio-economic conditions of all Indonesian people. As a result of the Covid-19 problem, the Indonesian government must establish policies such as issuing rules for social distancing, and also calling for Work From Home for those who work as employees, imposing restrictions on each region, building hospitals to handle Covid-19, and others. With the existence of government policy decisions will have an impact on all people, both the community. Socio-economic problems arise and have a direct impact on society. The purpose of this study is to prediction the covid 19 pandemic. This study applies data mining techniques with the naïve Bayes algorithm with software implementation using Tanagra software. The results of this study can be used to see the clustering pattern of the Covid 19 pandemic, and it can be seen from the results of the probabilities of the Covid data so far for the spread of Covid 19 which has 90.7% correct predictions and 9.3% wrong predictions.]]>

<![CDATA[PT Indotama Niaga Hokki is a private company so it is not related to the government which is located in the city of Batam, Riau Islands, internet network facilities at PT Indotama Hokki use ISP from PT Telkom, still using ethernet connected to a switch to connect to the internet. With the increasing use of laptops and mobile phones at PT Indotama Hokki, it is necessary to update the existing network.The Wireless Distribution System method is a technical method of connecting one Access Point to another using wireless media in a Local Area Network. With WDS we can develop wireless networks without using cables. With WDS, WLAN workspaces can be expanded without connecting the Access Point with a wired backbone system.The results of this study indicate that wireless network users at PT Indotama Hokki where the application of wireless networks using the Wireless Distribution method aims to expand the wireless network at PT Indotama Niaga Hokki, so that by using the Wireless Distribution System as a repeater to make it easier for users to access the internet with different rooms. or building without having to log in again to be able to access the internet.]]>

<![CDATA[Security is an important aspect in building a network. The use and utilization of information technology for PT PLN Batam has become an important component for the daily activities of employees in improving company performance. This research was conducted to assist network administrators in monitoring traffic and supervising suspicious activities at PT PLN Batam. For monitoring of suspicious activities at PT PLN Batam, the intruder detection system that the author uses is Snort which runs on the Linux Operating System, namely Debian, because Snort is open source and can detect attack patterns in accordance with existing rules. The author uses Snort which is assisted by the Snorby interface to make it easier for a network administrator in terms of monitoring. Log or Alert results from Snort are presented in the form of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) using the Snorby application as a monitoring system in the form of Line Charts and Pie Charts. Snort can also display Logs or Alerts based on the severity level which is divided into 3 colors, namely High severity in red which is categorized as a dangerous attack, Medium severity in yellow which is categorized as an attack with a moderate level, and Low severity in green which is categorized as an attack that is not dangerous or weak. In general, Snort only works as a detector and is unable to withstand attacks. It is hoped that in the future Snort can be developed which is able to prevent attacks automatically.]]>
