Abstract

The training program on Website Creation and Management for Sabana Kamek Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDesma) under LKD Kamang Magek, Kabupaten Agam, aims to enhance human resource capacity in managing businesses through digital technology. This training is designed to provide a basic understanding of the importance of information technology in supporting transparency, efficiency, and the marketing of BUMDesma's products and services to a broader audience. During the program, participants were introduced to fundamental concepts of website management, technical steps in website creation, and strategies for utilizing websites to support branding and digital marketing. The training employed a combination of theoretical and practical approaches, enabling participants not only to grasp the concepts but also to independently implement the acquired skills. The outcomes of the training indicate that participants successfully created and managed simple websites to support BUMDesma operations. The positive impact of this program is expected to expand the marketing reach of BUMDesma’s products, enhance business competitiveness, and strengthen information transparency for the community and stakeholders. As a follow-up, continuous assistance and advanced training will be necessary to ensure the sustainability of information technology utilization in BUMDesma management.

Abstract

The training on Planning, Budgeting, Administration, and Financial Reporting of Nagari in Nagari Kamang Hilia, Agam Regency was attended by 25 participants and aimed to enhance the capacity of Nagari officials in managing village finances efficiently and accountably. This program included an in-depth understanding of the Village Financial System (Siskeudes), which consists of modules for planning, budgeting, implementation, administration, and reporting. Additionally, the training emphasized the principles of transparent, accountable, participatory, orderly, and disciplined financial management. With this training, it is expected that Nagari officials will be able to manage village funds more effectively, in line with applicable regulations, and increase transparency of information to the public. This activity also aims to ensure that all Nagari officials have a uniform understanding in carrying out their duties, ultimately improving the quality of village financial management in Nagari Kamang Hilia.

Abstract

The training on digitalization of SMEs in Nagari Guguak, Sijunjung Regency, aims to enhance the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) in leveraging digital technology to grow their businesses. This activity is part of an effort to support the digital-based economic transformation, which can improve the competitiveness of SMEs in the modern era. The training covers topics such as the use of digital platforms for marketing, digital payment systems, and efficient business management through information technology. Participants were also educated on the importance of having a digital presence to expand markets and improve operational efficiency. By involving local SMEs, this program is expected to provide new insights into the vast potential offered by the digital world and help businesses optimize online marketing. The training aims to enable participants to improve their business performance, expand their networks, and reach a wider customer base, contributing to the growth of both the local and national economy. Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya ibu rumah tangga, dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran produk berbahan baku tepung Mocaf. Tepung Mocaf, yang terbuat dari singkong, memiliki potensi besar sebagai bahan pangan alternatif yang sehat dan bergizi. Pelatihan ini meliputi dua aspek utama: pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif untuk usaha kecil dan strategi pemasaran produk. Melalui metode pelatihan, peserta diajarkan cara menentukan harga pokok penjualan  dengan menghitung biaya produksi, serta memasarkan produk secara efektif. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari Ibu-ibu Kelompok Wanita Tani yang berada di Nagari Toboh Gadang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola keuangan dan pemasaran, yang berdampak positif pada pendapatan keluarga. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan potensi tepung Mocaf sebagai produk unggulan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berhasil memberdayakan peserta dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of information technology utilization and organizational commitment on the quality of regional financial reports in the local government of Sungai Penuh City. The population in this study were 40 SKPDs in Sungai Penuh City. The method of determining the sample using purposive sampling method with a saturated sample of 82. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) Utilization of information technology has a significant effect on the quality of regional financial reports in the local government of Sungai Penuh City. 2) Organizational commitment has no significant effect on the quality of regional financial reports in the local government of Sungai Penuh City. For future research, researchers suggest adding data collection techniques with direct interviews, adding other variables to prove the consistency of research result, and expanding the research object so that it can be generalized.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of Risk Management and Internal Control Systems on the Financial Performance of Jambi City Local Government. The research sample consisted of 104 respondents selected through the purposive sampling technique. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire as a research instrument and analyzed using the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method with the help of the SPSS 23 application. The results showed that both Risk Management and Internal Control Systems had a significant positive effect on Local Government Financial Performance. This research is limited to the local government of Jambi City and uses a questionnaire that can cause bias. Future research should use a wider sample, collect primary data through interviews, and consider additional variables that affect Financial Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the influence of the degree of decentralization ratio, the ratio of regional financial independence and the SiLPA financing ratio can affect the capital expenditure allocation of district/city governments in West Sumatra. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on partial testing, 1) it is found that the ratio of the degree of decentralization has a significant positive effect on the allocation of capital expenditure in districts/cities in West Sumatra Province. 2) The ratio of regional financial independence has a positive effect on the allocation of capital expenditures in districts/cities of West Sumatra Province. .3) finance in the form of the ratio of SiLPA financing rates has a positive and significant influence on the allocation of capital expenditures in districts/cities in West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Religious traditions are an integral part of community life, especially in areas that strongly uphold cultural values and customs. However, modernization and globalization have led to a decline in youth participation in religious activities. This study aims to examine the role of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) community service program (KKN) students in preserving religious traditions in Jorong Taratak Baru. The research employs a qualitative approach through field observations and participation in community activities. The findings reveal that KKN UNP students play a crucial role in enhancing community engagement in religious traditions through various activities such as teaching Quran recitation, communal work at places of worship, and organizing Isra’ Mi’raj celebrations. The active participation of students not only strengthens social bonds among residents but also serves as a medium for transmitting religious values to younger generations. Therefore, the KKN program has significant potential in sustaining religious traditions amidst ongoing social changes

Abstract

Randai art is one of the arts in West Sumatra. Koto Lipek Pageh is one of the areas that has this art. Many people are enthusiastic about following and learning this art, from children to adults. This study aims to examine the role of students of the Community ServiceProgram (KKN) of Padang State University (UNP) in actively participating in this art. Field observations and participation in Randai activities show that UNP KKN students have a role in society. Therefore, the KKN program has great potential in maintaining the continuity of traditions, customs, and arts in the midst of social changes that continue to develop

Abstract

The Quran completion event held on February 25, 2025, in Koto Lipek Pageh, was a significant moment for the local community to show respect for the Quran and strengthen their faith. The event was attended by various groups, from children to adults, demonstrating high enthusiasm for this tradition. The series of activities included a collective recitation of the Quran, a prayer led by a local scholar, the distribution of aid to orphans, and a cultural performance featuring religious artistic expressions. This event aimed not only to enhance understanding and practice of Islamic teachings but also to strengthen social bonds among residents. Through the Quran completion, it is hoped that the community can become closer to the values of the Quran and apply them in daily life, while also establishing this activity as a sustainable tradition for future generations
