Abstract

The refurbishment of the Pasir Putih Beach entryway was executed to augment the destination's allure and improve the visiting experience. This project employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology, engaging local communities, government entities, and stakeholders in the planning, execution, and assessment phases. The activities encompassed problem identification, design planning, validation, implementation, and evaluation. The redevelopment outcomes embody local character via traditional ornamental features, creative illumination, and ancillary amenities such informational displays and seating arrangements. The engagement of local communities enhanced their sense of ownership and generated economic prospects during and subsequent to the rehabilitation. The evaluation results indicated a rise in visitor numbers and satisfaction with the renovation efforts. This program enhanced the aesthetic, functional, and sustainable design of Pasir Putih Beach, solidifying its status as a premier destination in Kolaka Utara. This exercise illustrates that a participative approach can facilitate sustainable tourist development

Abstract

Airport is a certain area on land or water (including buildings, installations and airport operating equipment) for the movement of aircraft. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the runway to the dimensions of the aircraft at Haluoleo Kendari Airport and to determine the feasibility of the runway, taxiway, apron for the type of Airbus A330 aircraft at Haluoleo Kendari Airport. The method used in this study is to use a qualitative and quantitative research design using the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) method with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) rules. The results of the research on forecasting the growth of aircraft and passenger movements in 2026 with the number of passengers per year: 776,253,488 passengers, the number of passengers per year: 2,126 passengers, and the movement of aircraft per day during rush hour: 4 aircraft. From the calculation results, the required runway length is 3,100 m, with a runway width of 45 m. the required length of the taxiway obtained from the calculation is 279 m, the width of the taxiway is 23 m, while the area of the apron needed by the Airbus A330 is 6,671 m2. the calculation compared to the existing conditions, the length of the runway does not meet while the dimensions of the taxiway are suitable for Airbus A330 passage and for the apron owned by Haluoleo Kendari Airport it is feasible to be used as a stopping place for planned aircraft, because the dimensions of the existing apron are larger.

Abstract

Serat selulosa merupakan salah satu alternatif jenis bahan tambah yang bisa digunakan dalam campuran aspal beton. Contoh serat selulosa yang bersifat alami yang lebih dikenal sebagai bahan baku dalam industri pakan, saat ini sudah sering dicobakan dalam pengujian campuran aspal beton yaitu dedak padi. Tujuan percobaan ini untuk menganalisis perilaku rutting terhadap dedak padi dengan variasi persentase kadar pada campuran beton aspal (AC-WC) melalui hasil pengamatan dan untuk menganalisis ketahanan campuran terhadap rutting akibat pengaruh penambahan kadar persentase dedak padi pada campuran beton aspal (AC-WC). Penelitian eksperimental dilakukan dengan pembuatan benda uji masing-masing tiga buah briket untuk setiap kadar aspal untuk memperoleh kadar aspal optimum. Berdasarkan kadar aspal optimum tersebut, ditentukan perencanaan campuran untuk bahan tambah pembuatan benda uji wheel tracking, kadar dedak padi ditambahkan dengan melakukan pendekatan studi literatur, adapun variasi bahan tambah yang digunakan ialah 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10%. Berdasarkan pengujian Wheel Tracking nilai deformasi terendah yaitu pada kadar dedak padi 2% dengan nilai 1,763 mm, dan layak digunakan untuk mengurangi deformasi dan rutting pada perkerasan lentur.
