Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran Reading Concept Map-Think Pair Share (Remap-TPS) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMPN 1 Sangasanga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen berdesain pretest-posstest control group desain. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya melalui teknik purposive sampling. Setelah diperoleh data dilanjutkan dengan analisis data melalui uji N-Gain serta uji Independent Sample T-Test. Setelah data diperoleh, dilanjutkan analisis menggunakan uji N-Gain yang menunjukkan skor N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,63 dengan kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol 0,54 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan pengaruh model pembelajaran Reading Concept Map-Think Pair Share (Remap-TPS) terhadap keterampian berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 1 Sangasanga.

Abstract

Siswa SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda memiliki pemahaman yang rendah terhadap mata pelajaran biologi, ditinjau pada rerata ulangan harian siswa di bawah KKM yakni 75. Hal tersebut disebabkan beberapa faktor yaitu kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, penggunaan media serta model pembelajaran yang tidak interaktif alhasil siswa merasa bosan dan susah fokus dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dan Problem Based Learning berbantuan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa SMAN 9 Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen berdesain pretest-posstest control group desain. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya melalui teknik purposive sampling. Setelah diperoleh data dilanjutkan dengan analisis data melalui uji N-Gain serta uji Independent Sample T-Test. Setelah diperoleh data, dilanjutkan analisis menggunakan uji N-Gain menunjukkan skor N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,74 dengan kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol 0,62 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing dan problem based learning (PBL) berbantuan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk cair dari cangkang telur ayam dan air kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai rawit merah (Capsicum frutescens L.), serta untuk menentukan konsentrasi optimal yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik bagi tanaman cabai rawit merah (Capsicum frutescens L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 5 perlakuan, 1 kontrol, dan 4 ulangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanam dari cabai rawit merah (Capsicum frutescens L.) dimana pada perlakuan 3 dengan kadar pupuk 80 ml/liter air terdapat pengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman sedangkan pada perlakuan 4 dengan kadar pupuk 100 ml/liter air terdapat pengaruh terhadap banyaknya jumlah daun dan hasil tanam dari cabai rawit merah (Capsicum frutescens L.).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru Biologi terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, kendala yang dihadapi, dan solusi yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah sembilan guru Biologi yang mengajar di kelas X dan XI di lima SMA Negeri di Kota Samarinda, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka, meskipun masih terdapat hambatan seperti kurangnya pelatihan, keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran, dan kesulitan dalam merancang modul ajar. Guru mengatasi hambatan tersebut dengan mengikuti pelatihan daring dan mengakses informasi melalui sumber online. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka dinilai positif, dukungan institusional dalam bentuk pelatihan dan penyediaan fasilitas masih sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the project based learning model with digital microsite media on the critical thinking skills of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda. This study used a quasi-experimental design method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 20 students, with the experimental class using the project based learning model and the control class using the conventional model. The results showed that in the experimental class, the average pre-test and post-test scores increased from 60.35 to 86.95 with an N-Gain of 0.67. While in the control class, the average pre-test and post-test scores increased from 59.7 to 71.65 with an N-Gain of 0.29. The T-test results show that the significance value is 0.000 <0.0005 with t count> t table, so it can be concluded that the project based learning model with digital microsite media has a significant effect on the critical thinking skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda on the material of classification of living things.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are important for students, but not all students possess strong critical thinking abilities. This study aims to develop a STEM-EDP-based Student Worksheet media to improve students' critical thinking skills in the topics of Ecology and Biodiversity. This research uses the ADDIE development model, developed by Robert Reiser and Michael Molenda, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed media was validated by experts in content and media, with the media expert validation result being 91% and the content expert validation result being 94%, both categorized as highly valid. Practicality testing was obtained from practicality questionnaires filled out by both teachers and students. The student practicality questionnaire resulted in 90.5%, categorized as very practical, and the teacher practicality test resulted in 90%, also categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of critical thinking skills was assessed through pretest and posttest results, using the N-Gain test, which resulted in a score of 0.7, categorized as high. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of STEM-EDP-based Student Worksheets to improve students' critical thinking skills is effective and categorized as high.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media based on a honey bear education module used in the Indonesian biodiversity material for seventh-grade junior high school students. The background of this study is based on the importance of strengthening biodiversity material through a contextual approach that includes environmental conservation values, especially the protection of endemic species such as the honey bear (Helarctos malayanus). This study uses the ADDIE development model which includes five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments include expert validation sheets (material, media, and language), science teacher validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test). The limited trial subjects were 25 seventh-grade students at a junior high school in Balikpapan. The results of the material expert validation showed a feasibility percentage of 78.67%, media expert validation of 56.36%, and validation by science teachers of 81.33%. The module was declared feasibility after being revised based on input from experts. The effectiveness test results using a paired t-test showed a significance value of 0.033 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after using the module. Furthermore, student responses to the module showed a high level of interest in the content and presentation of the material, as well as an increased awareness of the importance of biodiversity conservation. Thus, this sun bear education module has proven to be feasible and effective for use in science learning on biodiversity material.
