Abstract

This study presents the differences between the Islamic education systems of Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. These two Southeast Asian countries have unique characteristics in their approach to Islamic education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with literature data collection techniques (library research). The results of the study show that this measurement provides rich insight into the dynamics of Islamic education and can be a reference for both countries in efforts to improve the quality of Islamic education. The fundamental difference lies in the emphasis given to religious studies in Islamic countries such as Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. Religious studies are highly emphasized to form people who are moral, ethical, and have noble personalities. This reflects Islamic values that are an integral part of education and daily life in the country. However, both have similarities in including religious education in the curriculum as part of an effort to build students' character and morals. The main goal is to create a young generation that has strong moral values and good personalities, so that they can make a positive contribution to society and the nation in the future.

Abstract

Dalam Islam pengetahuan tidak memiliki nilai dan keutamaan padanya dengan sendirinya. Tapi keutamaaan yang sesungguhnya dalam islam adalah Ketika pengetahuan itu dapat membawa umat islam lebih dekat kepada rabb-nya. Artikel ini membahas karakteristik ilmu pengetahuan dalam perspektif Islam dengan menyoroti peran akal, wahyu, dan nilai-nilai spiritual. Dalam Islam, ilmu bukan hanya mengenai pengetahuan akademis tetapi juga alat mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, yang mencakup analisis terhadap literatur keislaman seperti Al-Qur'an dan Hadis. Artikel ini mengkaji dikotomi ilmu agama dan ilmu umum, konsep islamisasi ilmu, serta integrasi dan interkoneksi keduanya. Pengetahuan di Islam diklasifikasikan ke dalam kategori wahyu dan rasionalitas, dengan tujuan utama membawa manusia menuju kesejahteraan dunia dan akhirat. Penulis juga menyoroti pentingnya lembaga pendidikan, dialog ilmiah, penerjemahan karya ilmiah, dan teknologi sebagai sarana pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Kesimpulannya, ilmu dalam Islam tidak hanya memberikan manfaat duniawi tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai ibadah dan sarana untuk memahami Sang Pencipta.

Abstract

The concept of three centers of education, introduced by Ki Hajar Dewantara, emphasizes that education is not only the responsibility of schools, but also involves families and communities as the main centers in shaping individual character and competence. These three elements have complementary roles and cannot be separated in a holistic education process. In the context of the Indonesian National Education System, the implementation of this concept has significant implications for the formulation of policies, curriculum development strategies, and pedagogical approaches that are oriented towards the needs of students as a whole. The synergy of these three centers is the key to the success of education that is able to form Indonesian people who are intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually intelligent. The national education system demands the integration of cross-sector policies, increased community participation, and strengthening the capacity of parents as primary educators. A collaborative approach is also needed between schools and the surrounding environment to create an inclusive and sustainable education ecosystem.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technological developments have a significant impact on various sectors, including Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of technology in supporting innovation in Islamic education in the era of globalization. Information and communication technology allows for major transformations in the teaching and learning process, making Islamic education more dynamic and adaptive to changes in the times. The results show that the role of technology in innovation in Islamic education covers various aspects, such as accessibility, efficiency, and wider dissemination of knowledge. One of the main roles of technology is to expand access to Islamic education. Through online platforms, religious lessons can be accessed by anyone, anytime, without being limited by distance and time. This also encourages the creation of a more interactive learning environment, where students can learn through various media, such as videos, applications, and discussion forums. Technology also facilitates digital-based learning that allows teaching Islamic materials in a more interesting and easy-to-understand way. Application-based learning provides space for students to access materials independently, in depth, and according to their needs. With the right use of technology, Islamic education can be more developed and relevant amidst the dynamics of globalization, so that it can produce a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, creative, and ready to face the challenges of the times.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter diketahui berupa tindakan yang dijalankan dengan terprogram tujuannya menyederhanakan upaya anak didik mendalami prinsip perangai pribadi insan yang berkaitan erat pada Allah, personal, bersama kelompok lainnya, dan sekitarnya yang terealisasikan bagi akal, kepribadian, emosional, lisannya serta perangau berpanduan dogma keyakinannya. Maraknya kemerosotan karakter pada lini moralisasi, tentu menghadirkan gejolak kepribadian bagi ranah pendidikan akhirnya bisa berdampak disegala lini menggesek kelemahan tersebut. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjadi salah satu pedoman dalam mempelajari dan memahami konsep pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Al Quran surah Al Luqman ayat 12 hingga 19. Tentu diketahui yakni pembinaan karakter sangat kompleks. Mengenakan metode penelitian kualitatif.dengan upaya penghimpunan datanya mengenakan studi kepustakaan (library research), diambil di Al Quran, kitab tafsirnya selaras, bacaan atau jurnal berkenaan konsep karakter pendidikan dalam perspektif Al Quran lantunan Al Luqman ayat 12 hingga 19. Selanjutnya data dianalisis mengenakan tindakan analisis deskripsi. Perolehan penelitian mengungkap empat konsep pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam Al Quran Surat Al Luqman ayat 12 hingga 19 yakni membina keyakinan bagi buah hati, melatih cara bersyukur serta mentaati orang tuanya, membiasakan beramal saleh dan mengajarkan etika berinteraksi dengan sesama manusia.
