Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the character values instilled in extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Palembang are a series of activities carried out outside formal school hours. In this regard, in terms of time, extracurricular activities at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Palembang are carried out every day, namely: (a) Osis, (b) Pramuka, (c) Paskibra, (d) Rohis and Tahfiz Qura'n, (e) KIR, (f) Robotics, (g) Math Olympiad Club, (h) Economics Olympiad Club, (i) Geography Olympiad Club, (j) Basketball Sports Club, (k) Futsal Sports Club, (l) Volly Sports Club, (m) Ba dminton Sports Club, (n) Takraw Sports Club, (o) Pancak Silat, (p) karate, (q) Islamic Art Studio, (r) Environment/Adiwiyata, (s) Band Group, (t) Journalism and Photography, and (u) PMR.The character education values reflected in the behavior of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Palembang students are religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democratic, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendship, peace love, environmental care, social care and responsibility.

Abstract

Berbicara tentang Budaya Melayu, Suku Komering adalah rumpun budaya melayu yang memiliki beragam suku, dengan beragamnya suku-suku yang ada di Suku Komering maka dapat di jumpai bermacam-macam adat istiadat, tradisi, dan kesenian yang ada dan sampai pada saat sekarang masih tetap di lestarikan. Hal unik yang akan diteliti di sini adalah gelar adat yang diberikan kepada kedua mempelai dalam upacara perkawinan masyarakat Komering di Sukarami, OKI (Ogan Komering Ilir), Sumatera Selatan. Gelar adat yang dimaksud dalam konteks ini adalah simbol penghormatan terhadap seseorang yang telah menginjak dewasa yang ditandai dengan suatu perkawinan. Ukuran dewasa seorang ditentukan apabila telah berumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, untuk setiap pria pada saat upacara perkawinan ia harus diberi gelar adat, serta mempelai wanitanya juga. Tradisi pemberian gelar adat memiliki implikasi sosial dalam masyarakat berupa pemaknaan gelar adat tersebut di dalam kesehariannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan memahami peranan pemikiran filsafat dalam sejarah pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Filsafat sebagai induk dari semua disiplin ilmu, memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk dan mengarahkan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Jenis penelitian ini ialah studi literatur  dan analisis historis, penelitian ini menelusuri bagaimaan pemikiran filsafat telah mempengaruhi berbagai bidang ilmu mulai dari fisika hingga psikologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran filsafat telah berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk paradigma dan metodologi dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu. Filsafat membantu ilmuan dalam memahami dan menjelaskan fenomena yang mereka observasi serta dalam merumuskan hipotesis dan teori. Selain itu, filsafat juga berperan dalam mengevaluasi dan mengkritisi metode dan hasil penelitian sehingga memastikan bahwa ilmu pengetahuan berkembang dalam arah yang benar dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Education is an effort made by someone so that there is a change towards the better. In Indonesia, education is more defined as a formal institution that has the aim of developing the academic potential of students in order to realize educational goals. One of the Islamic education figures is Al-Ghazali. Al-Ghazali is one of the Islamic education figures who contributed thoughts to education. Al-Ghazali since his childhood was known as a child lover of knowledge and enthusiast in search of the ultimate truth, even though he was hit by grief, hit by various forms of grief and misery. Al-Ghazali's view of education is the process of humanizing humans. While the purpose of education according to him consists of long-term and short-term goals. As an educator must be capable, not only as a teacher but also teach character education and the importance of character education for students is to become competent and noble students. Islamic religious education is one of the breakthroughs as an effort to support student character education so that the morals of all students become more noble. Morals is an attitude that is rooted in the soul from which various actions are born easily and easily, without the need for thought and consideration. If this attitude is born from good and praiseworthy actions, both in terms of reason and Shara', then it is called good morals. And if what is born from it is a despicable act, then the attitude is called bad morals. The success of an educator is to be an example and make students or learners have noble morals.

Abstract

The pilgrimages that the residents of Simpang Tanjung village make to the village's grave of Puyang Rie Dinding serve as the inspiration for this study's ancestral practices. This mausoleum is frequented by numerous townspeople as well as tourists from outside the hamlet, both singly and in groups. This research tries to explain how the values of Islamic religious education are applied in the pilgrimage tradition of Puyang Rie Dinding's tomb. This research uses qualitative field research. Direct observation of the condition of eating Puyang Rie Dinding, interviews with caretakers, community leaders, and various communities, as well as documentation in the form of objects in the tomb of Puyang Rie Dinding and relics of Puyang Rie Dinding, were used as data collection techniques. Descriptive analysis is the data analysis method used. First, the community believes that the tomb of Puyang Rie Dinding is a mustajab location when someone has nazdar there, although Some people do not accept it. Secondly, the results of temporary research reveal that when a person has fulfilled his or her wish, then he or she must fulfill the vow or nazdar that was made during the pilgrimage. When one travels to the tomb, the promise goes along with the act of paying nazdar. Secondly, the locals think that their practice is permissible in Islam, the religion they follow. Third, Puyang Rie Dinding's grave pilgrimage tradition has distinctive characteristics. The importance of Islamic Religious Education to Allah, His Messenger, and oneself is one of Islamic Religious Education, which is also reflected in the custom of grave pilgrimage to the grave of Puyang Rie Dinding.

Abstract

The availability of facilities in a school has an important role in the implementation of the educational process. Each school has a size and type, varies depending on the resources and goals of how the education provider. As an institution, school is a place to teach and learn students, a place to train and give instructions about a certain scientific field and skills to students. The existence of a place called a school is a building complex, consisting of a laboratory, physical facilities provided as a center for teaching and learning activities for teachers and students.Schools are institutions that carry out the formal education system, and have an important role in the socialization process, namely the process of helping individuals develop into social beings and beings who can adapt well in society. intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ), and spiritual intelligence (SQ). Schools have an important role in the socialization process, namely the process to help the development of individuals as social beings and beings who can follow the situation well in society.The real educational processes are the relationship of activities that take place in the classroom, school education can help students to gain the knowledge and skills needed to live, therefore one of the goals that must be achieved by education is to develop life skills. This is actually the direction of the competency-based curriculum, life skills education and broad-based education being developedAs a forum or institution where there has been a socialization process and teaching and learning process between educators and students. Schools must be able to provide a good interaction in printing the nation's next generation so that the social dynamics of the school become a miniature of the nation's social dynamics with dignity and character.

Abstract

Education is an activity that seeks to obtain knowledge that humans initially did not know so that they know. Starting from education, people begin to know the world, uncovering new discoveries that were previously unknown to people. In line with the existence of an activity, there must be an evaluation of that activity. Education is an activity that has been arranged through the applicable curriculum, the final activity of an education is evaluation (assessment). Educational evaluation is very necessary in education, among others, providing information that is used as a basis for: 1. Making policy and decisions. 2. Assessing the results achieved by students. 3. Assess the curriculum. 4. Giving trust to the school. 5. Monitor the funds that have been given. 6. Improve education materials and programs. The evaluation results on the world of national education are quite alarming, not only in terms of quality but also failure in shaping the character of the nation's young generation. Education is the responsibility of all parties, where the goal of education is to humanize humans. Form high-quality human resources. The success or failure of Islamic education in achieving its goals can be seen after evaluating the output it produces. If the results are in accordance with what has been outlined in the objectives of Islamic education, then the educational effort can be considered successful, but if the opposite is true, then it is considered a failure. From this perspective, it can be understood how urgent evaluation is in the Islamic education process.

Abstract

Basically a teacher is an educator. Educators are adults with all the abilities they have to be able to change the psychic and mindset of their students from not knowing to knowing and maturing their students. Thus the teacher must apply learning methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of their students including Using one of the group discussion methods, where this method is used by the teacher to encourage the process of involving two or more people Participants interact with each other (exchange opinions), or defend each other's opinions in problem solving so that agreement is obtained between them. The use of discussion methods carried out during classroom learning shows that these methods are able to help students to build and improve their ability to express their opinions. Schools as formal educational institutions have a very important role in educating and maturing students through the learning process. In learning there are several factors that affect the teaching and learning process and student learning outcomes, one of which is learning motivation, motivation is the basis for students to be able to obtain maximum learning results, where further learning results will be used as a basis for determining the expected achievement of competencies

Abstract

This research discusses the application of the Kibar method in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an in Class VI of SD Negeri 82 Palembang. The aim is to determine the application of the Kibar method in improving students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an. This research aims to find out whether there is an increase in students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an before and after the Kibar method is applied. This research is quantitative research which aims to determine the influence, namely causes and impacts, where in this research the analysis is carried out using numbers so that it gets a more accurate meaning compared to using words. The type of research used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design experimental research. The sample for this research was 30 class VI students. The data collection method uses observation, tests and documentation, while the data analysis technique uses the t test formula. The results of this research show that 1) Students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an before implementing the Kibar method was 6 students in the high category, 19 students in the medium category, and 5 students in the low category. 2) Students' ability to read the Koran after applying the Kibar method was 9 students in the high category, 17 students in the medium category, and 4 students in the low category. 3) Based on the paired samples t-test table, the significance value obtained is 0.001, which means less than 0.05 and the calculated t value of 17,906 is greater than the t table, namely 1.699, indicating that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest, this shows that there is differences in treatment for each variable. From the calculations above, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is an increase in the application of the Kibar method in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an in class VI of SD Negeri 82 Palembang.
