<![CDATA[Penyalahgunaan narkoba semakin tidak terkendali bahkan sangat mengkhawatirkan yang membidik semua kalangan mulai dari anak, remaja, sampai orang tua yang melibatkan berbagai profesi dari yang awalnya coba-coba sampai kecanduan. Terlebih di era globalisasi di mana keterbukaan teknologi semakin memudahkan akses bagi setiap orang. Perlu penanganan yang baik dalam bingkai good governance agar dapat memutus matai rantai penyalahgunaan narkoba, sehingga diperlukan upaya Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Kota Gorontalo berkaitan dengan program pencegahan dan pemberantasan penyalahgunaan dan peredaran gelap narkotika di Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BNN Kota Gorontalo melakukan sosialisasi sebagai bentuk edukasi mengenai bahaya narkoba, dengan memanfaatkan berbagai media sosial. Dalam upaya penanganan narkoba dibidang rehabilitasi dilakukan dengan dua cara, yaitu rehabilitasi rawat jalan dan rawat inap. Namun, BNN Kota Gorontalo masih dihadapkan dengan kekurangan personil khususnya pada bidang pemberantasan dan bidang rehabilitasi, integritas petugas yang rendah, dan rendahnya informasi kasus.Kata kunci: Pemberantasan, Penyalahgunaan Narkoba, Rehabilitasi]]>

<![CDATA[Pemilihan umum merupakan salah satu bagian dari demokrasi yang menuntut peran KPU untuk terus meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat khususnya dalam bidang politik. Hal ini berkaitan erat dengan salah satu indikator untuk mengukur kualitas demokrasi yaitu keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pemilihan umum. Provinsi Gorontalo merupakan salah satu provinsi dengan indeks demokrasi yang baik dan berada di atas rata-rata nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran KPU dalam meningkatkan kualitas demokrasi di Kota Gorontalo yang merupakan lokasi yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan berfokus pada pengembangan kelembagaan dan sosialisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KPU telah melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi seuai dengan petunjuk teknis dari KPU RI dan seluruh bentuk sosialisasi tersebut disambut dengan baik oleh masyarakat Kota Gorontalo yang terlihat dari menigkatnya jumalh pemilih yang mencapai angka 81%. Sementara itu dalam pengembangan kelembagaan, KPU Kota Gorontalo mengembangkan kapasistas kelembagaan melalui intervensi yang cenderung pada intervensi level kelembagaan/institusional.Kata kunci: Demokrasi, KPU, Partisipasi masyarakat ]]>

<![CDATA[Background of this research is implementation of regional autonomy which gives broad authority to regions to manage of their own regions, including financial management. To managing local financial needed transparency and accountability and to realize it takes the control and Government Internal Control System (SPIP). Internal control plays a role overseeing government activities at the implementation of the budget and also to improve the quality of local government financial report.The purpose of this research to analyze application of Government Internal Control System in Implementation of APBD to improve quality of financial report of local government of Pangkep regency. This research uses descriptive research method with qualitative approach. Result of this research is application of SPIP in Pangkep Regency is adjusted with Annual Supervision Work Program (PKPT) Inspectorate of Pangkep Regency that determined by regent. In application of supervision activity, the surveillance apparatus of government’s internal (APIP) began to review at planning phase that budget activity plan of regional work unit (RKA-SKPD) review as a quality assurance in order to produce a quality APBD. SPIP is important to improve the quality of financial report because APIP oversees the financial management that will impact on the quality of financial report. In the application of SPIP in Pangkep Regency there are some factors internal and external that support and obstacles.]]>

<![CDATA[The Regional Government Financial Report is a form of government accountability to the community in the form of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). Financial reports made by local governments must be of high quality and in accordance with standards. For this reason, APIP is needed to oversee the activities or programs of the local government so that the program runs according to its objectives. This study aims to describe the consistency of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) to improve the quality of the Gorontalo provincial government's financial reports. The focus of this research is audit, review, evaluation, monitoring and other supervisory activities.The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling and the informants in this study were the Inspectorate of the Gorontalo Province Inspectorate and several related work units at the Gorontalo Provincial Inspectorate. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that with the consistency and APIP can realize government accountability and quality Local Government Financial Reports.]]>

<![CDATA[Stunting is a public issue that requires immediate handling because it has a large enough impact to become a major threat to the quality of human resources and a threat to the nation's competitiveness. To prevent and deal with stunting, apart from government efforts, active community participation is also needed. Therefore, this research is aimed at finding out the participation of the Huangobotu Village community in preventing stunting. This research focuses on 1) Environmental health; 2) Mother's knowledge about health and nutrition; 3) Parents' busyness; and 4) Poverty. From the research results, it was found that community participation was still moderate, especially in the focus of mothers' knowledge about fulfilling nutrition and in families whose economic conditions were still low.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui transparansi Kepala Desa dalam pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) di Desa Inosota Kecamatan Posigadan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongodow Selatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam kepada sejumlah informan, observasi dan pencatatan data sekunder yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa, pelibatan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) sudah dilakukan namun belum secara optimal. Hal ini terlihat dari kehadiran masyarakat yang hanya sebatas pendengar saja dan tidak diikutkan dalam pengambilan keputusan, dimana keputusan diambil secara sepihak oleh pemerintah desa atau Kepala Desa. Keterbukaan informasi publik dalam pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) sudah dilakukan namun belum secara optimal. Hal ini tampak dari tidak adanya kegiatan sosialisasi pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Desa kepada masyarakat inosota secara keseluruhan. Pertanggungjawaban terbuka dalam pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) sudah dilakukan namun belum secara optimal. Hal ini tampak dari ketidaktahuan sebahagian besar masyarakat atas capaian kerja atau hasil pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD). Disarankan, perlunya upaya seorang Kepala Desa Inosota untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam hal pemanfaatan Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD). <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the Behavior of State Civil Apparatus on the Administrative Proposal for Promotion at the Education and Culture Office of Bone Bolango Regency. Collecting data by distributing questionnaires to respondents who have met the predetermined sample standards so that the data in this study are primary data. Data collection was obtained from the results of interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. Then data analysis using simple regression (because only 1 independent variable). The analysis was carried out with the help of the SPSS 21 program. The results showed that the behavior of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) had a positive and significant effect on the administration proposal for promotion at the Education and Culture Office of Bone Bolango Regency with a variability value of 68.7%. While the remaining 31.3% can be explained by other variables not examined in this study such as self-awareness, leadership motivation, work spirit, changes in education level and employee career expectations. The meaning of the positive coefficient indicates that the better the behavior of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) gives a good impact in proposing administrative promotions.]]>

<![CDATA[Technology is something that is needed by humans today, through technology, various human jobs can be completed easily and quickly. Technology has been utilized by various fields. One of them is the field of education, especially higher education which is closely related to writing scientific papers. Therefore, every tertiary institution requires lecturers and students to produce quality scientific papers that are free of plagiarism. One effort to prevent plagiarism in writing scientific papers is through the use of Mendeley's application, which is a form of technology that makes it easier for lecturers and students to do citations and manage references. However, there are still many lecturers and students who are not proficient in using the Mendeley application. For this reason, through this community service activity which is carried out in the form of a webinar using a zoom meeting, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of scientific writing by lecturers and students through the use of the Mendeley application, so as to prevent plagiarism.]]>

<![CDATA[Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pemberdayaan UKM adalah salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk tetap mempertahankan eksistensi UKM ditengah masyarakat. Hal ini menjadi hal yang cukup penting mengingat UKM telah menjadi salah satu prioritas pemerintah untuk menjalankan roda perekonomian masyarakat. Untuk itu, agar UKM dapat berkembang lebih pesat dan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman, maka para pelaku UKM diharapkan mampu menggunakan teknologi dalam setiap kegiatan produksi usaha yang dilakukan. Adapun mitra UKM memiliki potensi untuk lebih mengembangkan usahanya diakrenakan mitra bergerak dalam bidang fotografi dan videografi yang notabene sangat dekat dengan penggunaan teknologi seperti penggunaan kamera dan aplikasi untuk pengeditan foto dan video. Namun, sejak wabah covid-19 melanda, terdapat beberapa hal yang menghambat keberlanjutan usaha, seperti banyaknya acara yang sebelum ya menggunakan jasa mitra harus ditunda bahkan dibatalkan dibatalkan yang mengakibatkan berkurangnya pemasukan dari UKM mitra yang sebagian besar pemasukan diperoleh dari hasil mermotren dan merekam hajatan atau acara-acara penting. Berdasarkan masalah yang ada, maka dilakukan observasi ke lokasi UKM mitra guna untuk melihat secara langsung kondisi mitra dan juga wawancara untuk mengetahui secara detail permasalahan yang dialami dan juga kebutuhan dari mitra. Adapun luaran yang diharapkan dari program ini adalah dihasilkannya kreatifitas mitra dalam memproduksi foto dan video serta inovai untuk lebih mengembangkan usaha yang dimiliki.]]>

<![CDATA[Implementing community service activities in the form of environmental care movements through elementary school level waste banks is an effort to change waste processing behavior for the better and is instilled from an early age in elementary school students. Good school environmental conditions aim to create a conducive place for learning activities and increase the awareness of school residents to take responsibility for efforts to save the environment. Forming environmentally caring behavior from an early age can be done through the development of school waste banks. However, the waste bank at SDN 39 Hulontalangi has not developed optimally as seen from the school community's ability to sort waste which is still lacking, knowledge about the use and processing of waste based on type is not yet understood by the school community. Apart from that, another problem with the school's less than optimal waste bank is limited knowledge and the management's human resource skills as well as marketing management resulting from the creativity of partner schools that do not yet exist. Based on the existing problems, the approach used in implementing activities uses an empowerment model through preparation, FGD, training and mentoring stages. The expected output of this program is to increase the school community's knowledge regarding school waste bank management and understanding of various types of waste, both organic and inorganic waste, as well as increasing the school community's creativity in recycling waste so that there is a paradigm shift regarding waste when managed. can provide economic value.]]>
