Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has a significant impact on various sectors, including education. To implement information technology, one of them is to create a website-based school information system. The Website-based School Information System aims to support the process of delivering information quickly and accurately. The activity of creating a website-based information system at Elementary School (SDN) 6 Masbagik Selatan was created because there was no website-based information system. This website is designed using the PHP programming language and is supported by XAMPP as a local server, with the following targets: introducing the school profile, conveying the latest information, and promoting the school and its activities widely to the community, so that the existence of SDN 6 Masbagik Selatan can be known in its entirety. This system includes various features such as the home page, school history, teacher list, student list, announcements, and activity gallery. Through this system, SDN 6 Masbagik Selatan can provide more transparent and efficient information services to the community. This system has been completed with Online status and can be accessed by the wider community, so that the community is satisfied, especially the school consisting of school management, staff and teachers of SDN 6 Masbagik Selatan. In addition, this website has also strengthened the relationship between the school and parents of students, as well as supporting the promotion of the school widely.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low initial reading ability of phase A students at SDN 3 Masbagik Selatan. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) method in improving the initial reading ability of phase A students at SDN 3 Masbagik Selatan. The research method used is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques were taken by giving pretests and posttests in the form of multiple choice tests. Data analysis used in this study is the normality test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of the normality test on the pretest value shows that lhitung < thitung (0.165 < 0.190), while the posttest value shows that lhitung < thitung (0.137 < 0.190) so that it means the data is normally distributed. Furthermore, based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained thitung > ttabel (10.735 > 1.725), the hypothesis reads "Ha" is accepted and "Ho" is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) method is effective in improving the beginning reading skills of Phase A students at SDN 3 Masbagik Selatan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the value of ecologically based character education in the novel Anak-anak Sungai Sondong by Ramajani Sinaga, and implications for Literature Learning in Schools. This research method is qualitative research. The data source for this research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data uses the novel Sondong Children. Secondary data was obtained from journals and books related to character education with an environmental ethics approach. Data collection techniques use reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques using triangulation, reduction, presentation and concluding data. The results of this research are (a) responsibility, (b) love and concern for nature, (c) solidarity, (d) respect for nature, (e) living simply and in harmony with nature, (f) justice. From the results of data analysis, there are 89-character education with an environmental ethics approach that can be implemented in literature learning in schools in accordance with the dimensions of the Pancasila profile, namely morals towards nature.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors hindering the beginning reading learningprocess for 2nd-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Peresak. Reading ability is afundamental skill in the learning process, yet many students face difficulties. Thisstudy uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to identify and deeplydescribe these hindering factors. Data was collected through observation,interviews, and documentation involving students, teachers, and the principal. Theresults of the study show that the hindering factors include internal aspects of thestudents, such as low learning interest, lack of motivation, and visual problems, aswell as external factors like less varied teaching methods, lack of parental support,and an unconducive learning environment. The implications of this study highlightthe importance of collaboration between the school and parents to create asupportive learning environment and to develop more innovative teaching strategiesto improve students' reading abilities.

Abstract

AbstrakProgram Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi dalam memperkuat Profil Pelajar Pancasila, dengan menerapkan aplikasi Wordwall sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif. Kompetensi Pelajar Pancasila merupakan faktor penting untuk membentuk siswa yang berkarakter kuat dan siap menghadapi tantangan di era digital. Dalam hal ini, pemanfaatan teknologi digital seperti Wordwall berperan strategis dalam mendukung pencapaian tujuan tersebut. Metode yang diterapkan dalam PKM ini mencakup pelatihan intensif bagi peserta, khususnya siswa sebagai tempat uji coba media dan pelatihan kepada para guru, untuk memanfaatkan aplikasi Wordwall dalam menciptakan konten pembelajaran interaktif dan mendukung pembelajaran berbasis digital. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 12 guru SD Negeri 4 Selong, yang dilatih untuk membuat permainan edukatif, merancang kuis interaktif, dan menghasilkan materi pembelajaran menarik menggunakan aplikasi ini. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kemandirian, dan kreativitas peserta, serta peningkatan kemampuan kolaborasi melalui teknologi dan minat dalam eksplorasi pembelajaran digital. PKM ini memberikan dampak positif dalam mengembangkan kompetensi Pelajar Pancasila, memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berbasis teknologi, serta membuka peluang bagi peserta untuk menjadi pengguna teknologi yang lebih mahir dan bertanggung jawab. Dengan mengintegrasikan alat digital seperti Wordwall ke dalam sistem pendidikan, para pendidik dapat lebih efektif mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan di era digital sambil menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Kata kunci: teknologi; wordwall; pelajar pancasila. AbstrackThis Community Service Program (PKM) aims to maximize the use of technology in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile by implementing the Wordwall application as an innovative learning medium. The competencies of Pancasila Students are essential in shaping students who possess strong character and are ready to face challenges in the digital era. In this context, the utilization of digital technology like Wordwall plays a strategic role in supporting the achievement of these goals. The methods employed in this PKM include intensive training for participants, particularly students as testing grounds for the media, and training for teachers to utilize the Wordwall application in creating interactive learning content and supporting digital-based learning. The training participants consist of 12 teachers from SD Negeri 4 Selong, who are trained to create educational games, design interactive quizzes, and produce engaging learning materials using this application. The outcomes of this activity include improvements in critical thinking skills, independence, and creativity among participants, as well as enhanced collaboration skills through technology and increased interest in exploring digital learning. This PKM has a positive impact on developing the competencies ofPancasila Students, facilitating more interactive and technology-based learning, and opening opportunities for participants to become more skilled and responsible technology users. By integrating digital tools like Wordwall into the education system, educators can more effectively prepare students to face challenges in the digital era while instilling Pancasila values. Keywords: technology; wordwall; pancasila students.

Abstract

The training activity of making tissue holders from used bottle caps aims to foster creativity, skills, and environmental awareness in elementary school students. The training was conducted by students in grades 6A and 6B, each divided into two groups. The implementation method was carried out through the stages of collecting materials, explaining the concept of recycling, practical production, and evaluation of the work. The results of the activity showed that students were able to produce creative works that are useful and highly aesthetic. Furthermore, this activity fostered a spirit of cooperation, responsibility, and awareness of the importance of managing plastic waste
