Abstract

Background: The elderly are prone to experiencing anxiety due to physical, psychological, social, and economic changes that can affect the level of independence in daily activities. This research is important to understand the relationship between anxiety and independence of the elderly in the social care environment.Methods: This study uses a quantitative design with a cross sectional approach. The research population was all elderly at the Tresna Werdha Blitar Social Service Unit in Tulungagung, with a sample of 36 respondents using the total sampling technique. The research instruments included the GAD-7 questionnaire to measure anxiety and the Barthel ADL Index to assess the level of independence. Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman's rho test.Results: The results showed that the majority of the elderly had a minimum level of anxiety as many as 17 respondents (47%), mild anxiety 14 respondents (39%), and moderate anxiety 5 respondents (14%). The level of independence of the elderly is mostly in the category of mild dependency as many as 22 respondents (61%). The Spearman's rho test showed a significant relationship between anxiety levels and independence levels with a value of p = 0.032 (p < 0.05).Conclusion: These findings indicate that the lower the level of anxiety, the higher the independence of the elderly. Psychological, physical, and social anxiety management interventions need to be optimized to increase the independence of the elderly in social institutions.

Abstract

Banyaknya gangguan pada anak seperti kurang bersosialisasi, kurang inisiatif dan banyak diam karena takut salah dalam melakukan sebuah tindakan menandakan adanya masalah psikososil pada anak, dan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya gangguan perkembangan psikososial anak yaitu lingkungan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara lingkuangan keluarga terhadap perkembangan psikososial pada anak usia 4-6 tahun di Kelurahan Tosaren. Desain penelitian adalah observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Simple random Sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini Semua anak usia 4-6 tahun di Kelurahan Tosaren sebanyak 147 responden, sampel sebanyak 108 responden. Variabel independen adalah lingkungan keluarga, variabel dependen perkembangan psikosoial anak. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik Regresi logistic ? ±= 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hampir seluruh anak usia 4-6 di kelurahan Tosaren dengan lingkungan keluarga otoriter yaitu sebanyak 90 (83,3%) responden, sebagian besar anak usia 4-6 di kelurahan Tosaren dengan perkembangan psikosial bersalah yaitu sebanyak 75 (69,4%) responden dari total 108 responden. Hasil analisa data menunjukan bahwa tingkat signifikansi nilai p-value = 0,000 sehingga H1 diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap perkembangan psikososial pada anak usia 4 - 6 tahun di Kelurahan Tosaren. Lingkungan mempengaruhi perkembangan psikososial anak, hal ini disebabkan karena lingkungan keluarga yang baik dapat memberikan kebebasan kepada anak untuk mengekspresikan dirinya sesuai dengan norma yang ada dalam kelurga dan masyarakat, sedangkan lingkungan keluarga yang terlalu otoriter dapat membatasi anak dalam mengekspresikan dirinya karena ketika anak mau berbuat sesuatu tetapi selalu memiliki perasaan takut bersalah sehingga anak lebih banyak pasif

Abstract

Karies gigi merupakan penyakit yang terdapat pada jaringan keras gigi yaitu email, dentin dan sementum yang mengalami proses kronis regresif. Penyebab karies karena malas atau salah dalam menggosok gigi, bahkan tidak ada dukungan orang tua untuk menggosok gigi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian motivasi orang tua dalam menggosok gigi pada anak usia prasekolah terhadap timbulnya karies gigi di TK Dharma Wanita Singonegaran I Kota Kediri. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah semua orang tua siswa usia prasekolah sebanyak 85 responden. Besar sampel sebanyak 70 responden yang diambil dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling. Variabel independent adalah pemberian motivasi orang tua, sedangkan variabel dependent adalah timbulnya karies gigi. Hasil analisa menggunakan Spearman rho. Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagian besar pemberian motivasi orang tua adalah kurang sebanyak 42 responden (60%), dan hasil observasi didapatkan 64 anak (91%) mengalami karies. Hasil uji statistik Spearman rhodiketahuiρ value 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak yang berarti ada hubungan yang signifikan pemberian motivasi orang tua dengan timbulnya karies gigi

Abstract

Bacground: Compliance of nurses in implementing a fixed procedure of nursing actions, including hand washing procedures, became one of the determinants of the success of prevention of nosocomial infections. Noncompliance of nurses in hand washing may lead to an increase in the incidence of phlebitis. Pupose: The influence of nurse compliance in hand washing of phlebitis incidence rate in Graha Hita Husada Room Dr Iskak Tulungagung Hospital. Method: The design of this study was observational with cross-sectional design with population All the nurses in Graha Hita Room Dr. Iskak Tulungagung Hospital number of 54 nurses. The sample is part of population that is 48 respondents with sampling technique by Simple random sampling. The data that have been collected is processed by Linear Regression statistic test with significance ? = 0,05. Result: The results showed that most of the respondents had compliance with handwashing compliance, ie 38 respondents (79.2%) and most of the respondents did not experience phlebitis incidence, ie 34 respondents (70.8%). Result of analysis of Linear Regression test got value p-value = 0,000 (<0,05) with value of R Square 0,639 which means reject H0 and accept H1 so that there is relation of nurse compliance in hand washing with number of phlebitis incident in Graha Hita Husada Room dr Iskak Tulungagung Hospital. Conclusion: From the results of this study prove the compliance of nurses in hand washing by applying six steps of hand washing and five moments hand washing correctly and accurately able to prevent the incidence of phlebitis

Abstract

One indicator of achieving good child and family health is optimal child growth and development. However, parents are often unaware of delays in their children’s development. Common disorders include physical growth, motor, language, and behavioral problems. Based on the 2023 Riskesdas survey, among 82,661 infants and toddlers weighed nationwide, the prevalence of underweight was 19.6%, consisting of 5.7% severe and 13.9% moderate malnutrition.Families with toddlers need adequate education to monitor and stimulate growth and development effectively. Promotive and preventive efforts through community service activities are important strategies to improve child health outcomes. This activity aimed to enhance family knowledge and support early detection of children’s growth, development, and nutritional status.The program was conducted on January 25, 2026, in Rejomulyo Village, Kediri City, targeting families with infants and toddlers. Activities included growth and development screening, nutritional status assessment, developmental stimulation through educational games, and education on Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS), food safety, and child-friendly environments. Supporting tools included booklets, knowledge questionnaires, and the Pre-Development Screening Questionnaire (KPSP) instrument.The results showed high participant attendance and strong community enthusiasm. No cases of developmental delay or stunting were identified. Families’ knowledge regarding child health, nutrition, and PHBS improved after the intervention.This activity effectively increased family awareness of monitoring child growth and implementing healthy living practices to support optimal child development.
