Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work ethic on employee performance by including innovative work behavior as a mediating variable and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as a moderating variable. The study was conducted on Civil Servants at the Batu City Agriculture and Food Security Office using a quantitative explanatory approach. The entire population of 83 employees was used as respondents through a saturated sampling technique, so this study is expected to be able to describe the empirical conditions comprehensively. Quantitative data were collected through distributing questionnaires compiled based on research variable indicators and then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS software version 4. The results of the analysis indicate that work ethic has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. In addition, work ethic is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on innovative work behavior. Further findings indicate that innovative work behavior acts as a partial mediating variable in the relationship between work ethic and employee performance, meaning that work ethic can improve performance both directly and through increasing innovative behavior. However, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is not proven to moderate the relationship between work ethic and employee performance. This indicates that the role of OCB in strengthening or weakening the influence of work ethic on performance is not yet significant in the context of the organization studied.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) on customer loyalty by examining the mediating role of customer satisfaction and the moderating role of service quality. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 76 QRIS users at PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten (Perseroda) Tbk, Surabaya Branch. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings reveal that the implementation of QRIS significantly enhances customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between QRIS and loyalty, indicating that QRIS contributes to loyalty by improving the customer experience. Moreover, service quality strengthens the influence of QRIS on loyalty, serving as a pure moderator in the model. These results suggest that digital payment innovation alone is not sufficient to build loyalty; it must be supported by consistent and high-quality service delivery. The study provides practical insights for regional banks seeking to optimize QR-based services as part of their digital transformation and customer retention strategies.

Abstract

In the growing digital era, retail industries face significant challenges and opportunities. Clothing stores, as one type of retail industry, need to adapt to changes in consumer behavior that are increasingly complex. With the increasing variety of choices and easy access to information, understanding customer purchasing patterns is key to gaining a competitive advantage. Purchasing patterns reflect consumer preferences, not only that but can also reveal something hidden that if analyzed properly, can be utilized for a more effective marketing strategy. By applying a data-driven approach, it is hoped that clothing stores can formulate more targeted marketing strategies, improve customer satisfaction, and ultimately, drive sustainable sales growth. This research approach is exploratory quantitative, which aims to find customer purchase patterns from clothing store transaction data using the Apriori algorithm. The results of data exploration are used to develop data-based sales strategies.

Abstract

The acceleration of globalization compels hospitals to enhance patient loyalty through high-quality services. This study aims to analyze the effect of prescription waiting time and service quality on patient loyalty mediated by patient satisfaction at the Outpatient Pharmacy Department of RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar. This research design is an explanatory quantitative study rooted in the positivistic paradigm with a developmental research approach. The population comprised all outpatients, averaging 7,836 visits over a six month baseline. A sample of 381 respondents was selected using a non probability purposive sampling technique. Data were collected via structured questionnaires and analyzed using Variance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. The structural path analysis revealed that waiting time had no significant effect on patient satisfaction or patient loyalty thus, the mediating role of satisfaction on this path was rejected . Conversely, service quality exerted an exceptionally strong, positive, and significant effect on patient satisfaction and directly driven patient loyalty . Furthermore, patient satisfaction significantly and strongly mediated the relationship between service quality and loyalty. Establishing a partial mediation model. The empathy dimension emerged as the primary catalyst that psychologically buffered technical waiting time deficits. Hospital management should heavily focus on emotional care and interpersonal staff interactions to secure sustainable, long-term patient loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of compensation and organizational commitment on employee performance with quality of work life as a mediating variable at Sengkaling UMM, Malang City. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design to explain the causal relationships among the variables studied. The population of this study consists of all employees of Sengkaling UMM, totaling 36 employees. The sampling technique used was total sampling, in which all members of the population were selected as research respondents. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis with the Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) approach through the SmartPLS application. The results indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on quality of work life. Organizational commitment also has a positive and significant effect on quality of work life. Furthermore, quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, quality of work life mediates the relationship between compensation and employee performance, as well as the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance.
