Abstract

Analisis ini meneliti penerapan sistem manajemen pendidikan tinggi (SMPT) dalam mewujudkan Good University Governance (GUG) di STAI Muhammadiyah Blora. Good University Governance (GUG) menjadi elemen penting dalam reformasi PTS, menekankan pada struktur tata kelola, otonomi, akuntabilitas, kepemimpinan, dan transparansi. Struktur tata kelola yang jelas, otonomi yang memadai, akuntabilitas yang tinggi, kepemimpinan yang efektif, dan transparansi yang terjaga menjadi kunci utama. Implementasi SMPT yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi, akuntabilitas publik, dan kepercayaan stakeholders. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif desriptif, yaitu penelitian yang menggambarkan situasi atau fenomena praktik di STAI Muhammadiyah Blora. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami peran SMPT dalam mewujudkan GUG untuk PTS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan sistem manajemen pendidikan tinggi di STAI Muhammadiyah Blora, sistem pengendalian terdiri dari beberapa sistem dan tindakan: sistem penjaminan mutu; jaminan kepuasan pelanggan; pengawasan dan dokumentasi komplain stakeholder; manajemen berdasarkan fakta; dan perbaikan kesinambungan.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of educational objectives and Islamic educational objectives based on the thoughts of Western classical philosophers (Plato and John Dewey) and Muslim philosophers (Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, and Al-Farabi). Plato saw education as a means of achieving universal wisdom and truth through moral and intellectual development, while John Dewey emphasized education as a pragmatic tool for forming individuals who think critically and can actively participate in a democratic society. On the other hand, in the context of Islamic education, Al-Ghazali emphasized education as a spiritual process to get closer to God, Ibn Sina combined intellectual education and science to achieve human perfection, while Al-Farabi emphasized education as a tool to achieve moral happiness and social balance. The problem that arises is the difference in focus: general education (Plato and Dewey) emphasizes more on the development of rationality, morality, and social engagement, while Islamic education emphasizes more on the balance between spirituality, rationality, and moral responsibility. The research method used is comparative literature analysis, where the main thoughts of these figures are analyzed philosophically to identify ideal educational goals. The results showed that general education, according to Plato, focused on wisdom and morality, while Dewey emphasized active learning relevant to practical life. Islamic education, according to Al-Ghazali, is more oriented towards spirituality, Ibn Sina on rationality and science, and Al-Farabi on moral and intellectual balance to create an ideal society. The contribution of this research is to answer the challenges of modern education by reconstructing the current educational goals so that education can create individuals who can think critically, be ethical or moral, and have strong life skills.  A need for the reconstruction of holistic educational goals that develop intellectual, moral, and spiritual as a result of the synthesis of thinking about the goals of Western philosophy education and Islamic philosophy. Strategic steps taken based on the results of the research include the development of an  integrated curriculum, the implementation of active and adaptive learning, the integration of character education and ethics in the curriculum, the use of technology for spiritual and moral education, teacher training in the modern era and the formation of value-based progressive policies with a holistic approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educational supervision in enhancing learning quality through a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers, and educational supervisors, while secondary data were collected through document studies related to the implementation of supervision. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that educational supervision at MI Muhammadiyah Tambaksari, Blora Regency, plays a vital role in fostering teacher professionalism, enhancing learning effectiveness, and creating a culture of constructive evaluation. Structured and continuous supervision has proven effective in identifying challenges in learning, providing innovative solutions, and increasing collaboration between teachers and school administrators. However, the study also identified several obstacles, such as the heavy managerial workload of principals, insufficient preparation of teachers and principals, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. To optimize the role of educational supervision, intensive training for supervisors, strengthened policy support, and improved communication between supervisors and teachers are required. This study concludes that educational supervision at MI Muhammadiyah Tambaksari, Blora Regency, is an effective instrument for driving improvements in learning quality.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the urgency of the need for an Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning approach that can instill human values and multiculturalism in facing the complexity of a pluralistic society. In practice, PAI learning still tends to focus on normative-doctrinal aspects and does not provide space for cross-cultural understanding, empathy, and tolerance. The gap in previous research lies in the lack of in-depth studies related to PAI learning models that explicitly integrate humanist and multicultural approaches, both in concept and practical implementation in the classroom. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that focuses on literature studies (library research) as the main method. Data was collected through a systematic review of secondary sources, such as scientific journal articles, academic books, and previous research results relevant to the themes of Islamic education, humanism, and multiculturalism. The analysis process is carried out by content analysis techniques, which examine the content and meanings of various sources to formulate key concepts and learning patterns by humanistic and multicultural principles. The results of the study show that several PAI learning models have the potential to be developed based on humanist and multicultural approaches, such as dialogue-based learning, reflective-critical learning, and contextual learning that are oriented toward strengthening the values of peace, tolerance, and social justice. These models not only foster an inclusive understanding of religion but also build students' awareness of the importance of coexistence in diversity. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of a more humanist and multicultural discourse of Islamic education while offering a conceptual basis for educators and policymakers in designing relevant and transformative religious learning in the era of plurality.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di STAI Muhammadiyah Blora. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan rancangan kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di STAI Muhammadiyah Blora. Nara sumber penelitian ini adalah Ketua, Dosen, staf TU, Mahasiswa, dan orang tua. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang meliputi pengumpulan data reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam praktik peningkatan mutu pendidikan pada STAI Muhammadiyah Blora sudah memadai. Hal ini dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut: Perencanaan sumber daya manusia ditempuh oleh Ketua STAI Muhmmadiyah Blora dengan menyusun sebuah perencanaan yang selalu diawali dengan mengadakan evaluasi kegiatan pada setiap akhir tahun pembelajaran dengan melibatkan seluruh warga kampus. Pengorganisasian sumber daya manusia ditempuh dengan melakukan pengorganisasian pokok materi pembelajaran serta pembagian tugas dosen secara adil. Pelaksanaan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia ditempuh dengan mengoptimalkan dosen dalam melaskanakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang meliputi kegiatan pendahuluan (apersepsi), kegiatan inti, dan penutup. Pengawasan sumber daya manusia ditempuh melalui kegiatan pemantauan, supervisi, evaluasi, pelaporan, serta tindak lanjut secara berkala dan berkelanjuta.

Abstract

Early marriage remains a significant social issue in several parts of Indonesia, particularly in rural areas, including Ketileng Village, Todanan Subdistrict, Blora Regency. The impacts of early marriage include challenges in education, economic difficulties, reproductive health issues, and social welfare concerns. Adolescent girls are the most vulnerable group affected by these challenges. The role of STAI Muhammadiyah Blora in implementing the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (the three pillars of higher education), particularly community service, enables the institution to engage with local communities, identify, and address pressing social issues, such as early marriage. This community service program aims to raise awareness among parents and adolescents about the negative impacts of early marriage through a community-based educational approach. The activities include discussions and counseling sessions for parents and adolescents in Ketileng Village. The educational materials provided cover the health and psychological impacts of early marriage, the importance of pursuing higher education, and empowering adolescents to make better life decisions. A participatory approach is employed to encourage active community involvement in understanding and formulating solutions to the problem of early marriage. The results of this program indicate an increased understanding among parents and adolescents regarding the risks and long-term consequences of early marriage. Additionally, the program successfully facilitated the formation of discussion groups aimed at strengthening collective awareness about delaying marriage age and prioritizing education. This program is expected to be sustainable and serve as a model for other villages in efforts to reduce the prevalence of early marriage, particularly in rural areas like Blora Regency.
