Abstract

Human resources is one of the important elements in the implementation of a project because of its considerable influence on costs and time. The workload borne by the workforce is closely related to the efficiency and effectiveness of a project. There are many ways that can be done in the efficiency of human resources, among others, by optimizing the number of workers. PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia, as one of the companies engaged in the contractor of Mechanics, Electrical, Electronics and Information Technology. also can not be separated from the problem of this workload, work that doubles with other jobs is one of the causes. By using the Workload Analysis (WLA) method to determine workload. From the results of the WLA analysis, it was found that the Quality control Tower 1 workload was 119%, Supervisor Tower 2 was 135% and Supervisor Tower 3 was 124% besides that, after calculation the optimal number of employees was obtained by adding 1 labor in Tower 1, Tower 2 and Tower 3.

Abstract

The potential of the fisheries sector in Eastern Indonesia is very large. Investment as a driving force for the fisheries subsector is not only needed for infrastructure, but the fish processing industry sector also requires very large investment. Even though foreign investment is helping to drive this sector, the amount is still not optimal, the main reason is that licensing is long and complicated. Limited investment gives rise to illegal fishing and overfishing which cannot be avoided even though prevention is always carried out in various ways. This research uses a panel data linear regression method to determine the magnitude of the contribution of investment as a driver of the fisheries sector. The result is that investment, employment and the fish processing industry sector can jointly influence the growth of the fisheries sector. Investment in infrastructure development must be followed by investment for the needs of the fish processing industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of population size and unemployment on poverty levels in West Java Province during the period 2018–2022. Using an associative quantitative approach with secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency, this study examines the relationship between variables using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that population size has a negative and significant effect on poverty, while unemployment does not have a significant partial effect. However, when considered simultaneously, population size and unemployment have a significant effect on poverty levels. These findings have important implications for the formulation of more targeted regional development policies aimed at poverty alleviation.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve work efficiency and productivity through the education and implementation of the 5S concept (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) in the production process of mukena at Roemah Dia Convection. The method consisted of observation, interviews, socialization, and cost–benefit analysis (CBA). The results indicated a significant improvement in workers’ awareness of workplace cleanliness, orderliness, and discipline. Economically, the implementation cost was IDR 3,760,000, generating a benefit value of IDR 6,000,000, resulting in a CBA ratio of 160%. This indicates that the 5S implementation is both feasible and profitable since the benefits outweigh the costs. In addition to financial gains, this program also enhanced worker motivation, comfort, and time efficiency. Therefore, the application of the 5S concept proves to be an effective strategy to improve performance and productivity among small and medium-scale garment enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid growth of the food and beverage MSME sector in Indonesia, particularly in areas dominated by Muslim consumers such as Mekarwangi Village in Bogor, highlights the importance of halal assurance in purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of halal labeling and halal certification on consumer purchase intention toward food and beverage MSME products. A quantitative approach was employed by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of EViews 12 software. The findings reveal that halal labeling has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, indicating that a clear halal logo on the product packaging can increase consumer confidence in purchasing decisions. Halal certification also has a positive and significant effect and becomes the most dominant factor influencing consumer purchase intention. The regression model explains 91.81% of the variation in purchase intention, while the remaining percentage is explained by other external factors. Classical assumption tests confirm that the model fulfills BLUE criteria, ensuring the validity of the estimation results. This study emphasizes that halal-based marketing strategies are crucial to enhance consumer trust and strengthen the competitive advantage of MSMEs operating in the food and beverage industry within local markets.

Abstract

Economic stability is closely linked to the condition of security, particularly in regions where investment and sectoral development are still evolving. While previous studies tend to examine defense expenditure as a single determinant, limited attention has been given to how defense interacts simultaneously with investment and key economic sectors in shaping regional economic growth. This study explores the dynamics of economic growth in Eastern Indonesia by incorporating defense, investment, and selected sectoral variables into a unified analytical framework. A quantitative approach is applied using secondary data processed through panel data regression with EViews 13. The dataset consists of balanced panel data from 10 provinces over a ten-year period, generating 100 observations. The results reveal that defense, agriculture, and industrial sectors contribute significantly to economic growth. In contrast, the fisheries sector does not demonstrate a measurable impact despite the region’s strong maritime characteristics. Similarly, investment does not show a statistically significant effect, indicating the presence of structural constraints that limit its effectiveness. These findings highlight that regional growth in Eastern Indonesia is not solely driven by resource availability, but also by how strategic sectors are managed and integrated.
