Abstract

Peer groups play an important role in the process of individual growth and development, especially during childhood and adolescence. Although peer influence is often considered dominant, research shows that parents still have a significant impact on a child’s development. However, when relationships in the family are not harmonious, children tend to seek emotional support from peers, which can lead to involvement in negative groups such as gangs. Peer groups can have a positive impact, such as controlling behavior, providing emotional support, and developing social skills. However, negative impacts also emerge, such as discrimination against non-members of the group and disputes with parents. To improve the effectiveness of peer groups, the peer tutoring method is proposed as a learning strategy that engages students who are more capable of helping their peers. This method not only facilitates the understanding of the subject matter, but also strengthens students’ social relationships and interpersonal skills. With the right approach, adolescents can be directed to develop positively, so that their potential can grow optimally.

Abstract

Classroom governance is the process of planning, organizing, and managing the learning environment within the classroom with the aim of creating a conducive and comfortable atmosphere for students, thereby enabling the achievement of learning objectives. The arrangement of physical space, behavior management, and the optimal use of resources can enhance students’ concentration and learning outcomes.This article discusses the improvement of learning effectiveness through optimal classroom management while also providing an understanding of the importance of effective classroom governance in the learning process. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the effectiveness and role of classroom governance in education. Data collection was conducted using a single primary technique, namely literature review or theoretical study. The findings reveal that classroom governance significantly influences the effectiveness of learning and student performance.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pembelajaran Materi Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB) dan Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah beberapa sumber seperti jurnal, artikel iliah, dan buku yang relevan.  Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual memiliki beberapa kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam penerapannya.  Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pendekatan kontekstual meliputi kualitas materi pembelajaran, kemampuan guru, keterlibatan aktif siswa, ketersediaan sumber daya, kemampuan awal siswa, dan koneksi yang kuat antara konsep FPB dan KPK dengan kehidupan nyata siswa. Dengan demikian, pendekatan kontekstual memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembelajaran FPB, meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar dan membantu mereka mengaplikasikan konsep matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari

Abstract

Model Probel Based Learning (PBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang menitikberatkan kepada siswa sebagai pembelajar serta menghadapkan mereka pada permasalahan yang otentik atau relevan yang akan dipecahkan dengan menggunakan seluruh pengetahuan yang dimilikinya atau dari sumber-sumber lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Media Dividend and Divisor terhadap Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa SD Kelas VI di SDN 3 Nagrikaler. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian one group pre-test dan post-test. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan teknik observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari pelaksanaan tes awal (pre-test) sebelum diberikan perlakuan, dan dilanjutkan dengan tes akhir (post-test). Data yang dianalisis yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji Inferensia. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji Inferensia pada kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematis dalam bentuk soal cerita diperoleh Tolak H0, karena p-value (sig.) < 0,05 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dalam bentuk soal cerita pada siswa SDN 3 Nagrikaler tahun pelajaran 2024/2025

Abstract

Bullying remains a frequent issue in Indonesia, particularly among elementary school students. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of anti-bullying educational and socialization activities carried out by students of the P3K Program at the Indonesia University of Education in an elementary school in Purwakarta. The background of this research is the increasing cases of bullying—both direct and digital—which negatively affect students' social and emotional development. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method involving fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through the Secret Box during the pre- and post-activity stages, as well as through documentation of educational activities such as poster competitions, educational video screenings, and socialization sessions. The findings indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the definition, forms, and impacts of bullying, along with the development of empathy, social awareness, and commitment to respectful behavior. Moreover, creative and participatory approaches proved effective in engaging students actively, allowing anti-bullying messages to be more easily understood and internalized. Therefore, the anti-bullying education and socialization program, supported through collaboration among university students, teachers, and pupils, is proven effective in enhancing students’ comprehension while fostering a safer and more inclusive school culture.
