Abstract

The moral and spiritual development of students is not directly owned by students from birth, but requires assistance to develop it. The family is the basis for the moral and spiritual formation of students in understanding what is right and what is wrong. This study aims to explain the role of family resilience in developing the moral and spiritual of students. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the location of Jajag Village, Gambiran District, Banyuwangi Regency. Data were collected by observation, interview and analysis methods. Testing the validity of the data is measured using source triangulation techniques, methods, extension of observation time, checking. Data reduction, data display and conclusions in analyzing. Family resilience that is applied in the family environment provides a sense of happiness for students. The ability of students to go through the early childhood phase to adolescence will be easy to pass properly, in accordance with the morals that society expects. The function of family resilience is the basis for students to be able to improve their moral and spiritual development. Support and motivation from the family becomes the spirit of students in improving morally and spiritually

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of the independent learning curriculum in the PAI learning process. This research uses a quantitative approach method which is based on data collection and analysis in the form of numbers. The data sources used are secondary data and primary data. In the data validity technique in this research, researchers used the Chi-quadrat test. Based on the results of research at MTs Gintangan, it can be concluded into three main points, including: 1) There is a connection between KMB and increasing the PAI learning process for MTs Gintangan students. 2) The more effective the application of KMB in learning, the greater the opportunity to improve students' understanding of the material. 3) There is a connection between KMB and increasing student motivation, which means that the more effective the application of KMB in learning, the higher the chance of increasing student motivation. This research provides recommendations for all parties involved in implementing KMB in their respective schools.

Abstract

The development of information technology has been widely felt in the human environment, especially in the realm of education and teaching in schools. The COVID-19 pandemic, which has necessitated online learning, has made technology more sought after in its application. In this condition, the use of e-books has become one form of utilizing information technology in the learning environment, including at MTsN 3 Banyuwangi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method with all students of MTsN 3 Banyuwangi as respondents. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of e-books in schools can improve students' religious literacy, especially in reading and writing interests. The implementation of e-books at MTsN 3 Banyuwangi is quite good, as evidenced by several students who have increased their reading and writing interests in line with the level of students' activity in using e-books. However, there are obstacles faced by students in using e-books, such as students easily getting tired when reading using electronic media and difficulty accessing e-book materials, which are usually hindered by a signal. These obstacles can be minimized by the school by scheduling lessons and providing Wi-Fi facilities for students. Learning using e-books is indeed an effective step in learning, but still without reducing supervision of the students' learning process

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Field Trip Method (Karyawisata) in improving students’ writing skills (Maharah Kitabah) in Arabic language learning at MTs Silahul Muslimin Banyuwangi. The background of this research is the need for more engaging and interactive learning strategies compared to traditional classroom methods. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach conducted in May 2025, involving Arabic language teachers, school administrators, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results show that the implementation of the Field Trip Method enhances students’ motivation, creativity, and writing ability through enjoyable and contextual learning experiences. Therefore, the Field Trip Method is proven to be an effective and innovative pedagogical approach that strengthens students’ Arabic writing skills at the junior secondary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the form of resilience possessed by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in carrying out their role as facilitators in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at SMP NU Baitussalam Simbar Cluring Banyuwangi. In this study the author used a qualitative research method, with steps used such as using a case study approach, taking data sources from clear informants, data collection techniques. The results are: First, that resilience to the p5 activities is also very much needed because it can raise the teacher's mentality and build children's motivation to care about the environment. Second, that the form of teacher resilience using various dimensions is very necessary for teachers to use in dealing with their problems. Third, with a lack of perseverance, lack of mastery, lack of adequate facilities, limited time, it can be a factor inhibiting the resilience of PAI teachers.

Abstract

Lexical errors in translation often lead to conceptual misunderstandings and semantic distortion, especially in academic contexts where terminological precision is crucial. This study aims to analyze lexical errors in the translation of Indonesian scientific articles into Arabic, focusing on the types, causes, and implications of such errors. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, this research examines five translated academic articles through comparative textual analysis. The findings reveal that lexical misuse, omission, and mistranslation are the most frequent types of errors. These errors typically stem from inadequate lexical equivalence, lack of contextual comprehension, and overreliance on digital translation tools. The study concludes that strengthening lexical awareness and contextual understanding is essential for improving translation quality. The results are expected to contribute to translation pedagogy, enhance scientific communication, and support the development of Arabic–Indonesian academic translation standards.ABSTRAKKesalahan leksikal dalam penerjemahan sering menyebabkan kesalahpahaman konsep dan distorsi semantik, terutama dalam konteks akademik di mana ketepatan istilah sangat penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan leksikal dalam penerjemahan artikel ilmiah berbahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Arab, dengan fokus pada jenis, penyebab, dan dampak dari kesalahan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menelaah lima artikel akademik yang telah diterjemahkan melalui analisis teks komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan penggunaan kata (misuse), penghilangan (omission), dan salah terjemah (mistranslation) merupakan jenis kesalahan yang paling sering muncul. Kesalahan ini umumnya disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesetaraan leksikal, keterbatasan pemahaman konteks, dan ketergantungan berlebihan pada alat penerjemahan digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kesadaran leksikal dan pemahaman kontekstual sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas penerjemahan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pedagogi penerjemahan, memperkuat komunikasi ilmiah, dan mendukung pengembangan standar penerjemahan akademik Indonesia ke Arab.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) identify the need for developing a Project-Based Learning (PjBL)–based digital module in the Instructional Media Development course, (2) design and develop a PjBL-based digital module, and (3) measure the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the digital module in improving students’ creative thinking skills. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Development) adapted into 3D. The research subjects were 30 students from the Educational Technology Study Program, Graduate School, Makassar State University. The data collection instruments included a needs identification questionnaire, expert validation sheets for content and media, individual and group trial questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results of the study show that: (1) the needs identification obtained a percentage of 57% for the learning process condition (very poor qualification) and 70% for the need for learning media (good qualification); (2) the product was developed through instructional script design and multimedia design; (3) the level of validity from the content expert reached 90% (good) and from the media expert reached 71.11% (good); (4) the level of practicality in the individual trial was 87% (very good) and in the group trial was 95% (very good); and (5) the effectiveness of the product was indicated by an improvement in learning outcomes from the pretest score of 14% (very low) to 100% (very high) in the posttest. The PjBL-based digital module has proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ creative thinking skills. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan modul digital berbasis Project-Based Learning (PjBL) pada mata kuliah Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran, (2) mendesain dan mengembangkan modul digital berbasis PjBL, (3) mengukur tingkat validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas modul digital dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (RD) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development) yang diadaptasi menjadi 3D. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan PPS Universitas Negeri Makassar. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi angket identifikasi kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli materi dan media, angket uji coba perorangan dan kelompok, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) identifikasi kebutuhan memperoleh persentase 57% untuk kondisi proses pembelajaran (kualifikasi sangat kurang) dan 70% untuk kebutuhan media pembelajaran (kualifikasi baik), (2) produk dikembangkan melalui perancangan naskah pembelajaran dan desain multimedia, (3) tingkat validitas dari ahli materi mencapai 90% (baik) dan ahli media 71,11% (baik), (4) tingkat kepraktisan pada uji coba perorangan 87% (sangat baik) dan uji kelompok 95% (sangat baik), (5) efektivitas produk ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar dari tes awal 14% (sangat rendah) menjadi 100% (sangat tinggi) pada tes akhir. Modul digital berbasis PjBL terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa.
