Abstract

When language is communicated within a social context where every interlocutor is expected to carry out a linguistically polite communication which will not bring harm both to him or herself and the person to whom the messages are being delivered, speaker socially should maintain it. This study pragmatic understanding is conducted from a framework based on politeness principle (Brown & Levinson 1987) that aims to explain how face as a universal aspect in politeness study. The research is to find out the pragmatic understanding abilities of Adam, and to understand what utterances for person with Asperger Syndrome is potentially confusing leading him to face threatening act. Qualitative and quantitative research are employed in this study. Qualitative research used is to describe the data in the form of extract conversation and quantitative research is used to know the presentage of the results. The results show Adam tend to use bald on record communication without redressive action toward confusing utterances. Therefore, the prominent weakness Adam has is social interaction and emotional abilities.

Abstract

In this paper, we present an analysis of English loanwords that are spoken by the people of Jambesari villagethat are regarded as their own language. The loanwords also experience some deviations. The term loanwordcan be defined as a word adopted from another language with little or no modification. As asserted by Methamand Hudson (1969:482) that loanwords are words which have been taken over by one language from anotherand they represent only one phenomenon in the wider context of language contact. This study aims to know theway people got the English loanwords, to know where people use the English loanwords, and to know thechanges of the English loanwords. It can be analyzed by using the concept of language contact and languagechange. The analysis is conducted by using descriptive method. The result shows that people got the Englishloanwords from other people. They also use the English loanwords everywhere according to the context ofsituation. Then, the alterations occur in the kind of pronunciation, spelling, word class, and meaning.Keywords: Loanword, language contact, language change.

Abstract

In the study of language, what people do by saying something is called speech acts. Speech acts is not only found in everyday life but also in the film. This research concerns with speech acts produced by the main character in Shrek movie script. The aims of this research are to describe the types of speech acts and to analyze the most dominant speech acts produced by the main character. Besides, the aim of this research is also to know and describe the purposes of Shrek as the main character to use speech acts. The objects of this research are texts in the form of movie script. Austin’s (1962) theory of speech acts is applied in this research as the major theory. The types of research in this study are qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research is applied to analyze the data in the form of the text. Quantitative research is used to count the member of speech acts used by Shrek to conclude which types of speech acts is dominantly used. There are 50 utterances to be analyzed. The result of this research shows that the four types of speech acts produced by Shrek are directives, representatives, expressives, and commissives. This study shows that the dominant speech acts used is directives. It reaches 44%. It indicates that Shrek uses directives because he wants to make the hearer do something. Besides, Shrek also wants to be admitted by the people that he is actually a kind ogre. Keywords: directives, Shrek, speech acts, types of speech acts. . ABSTRAK Dalam ilmu bahasa, apa yang dilakukan seseorang melalui ucapannya disebut tindak tutur. Tindak tutur tidak hanya ditemukan di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tetapi juga di dalam sebuah film. Penelitian ini merujuk pada tindak tutur yang digunakan oleh tokoh utama di dalam naskah film Shrek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjabarkan tipe-tipe tindak tutur dan untuk menganalisa tipe tindak tutur yang paling dominan digunakan oleh tokoh utama. Selain itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah juga untuk mengetahui dan menjabarkan tujuan Shrek sebagai tokoh utama dalam menggunakan tindak tutur. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah teks dalam bentuk naskah film. Teori tindak tutur oleh Austin (1962) digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai teori utama. Tipe penelitian di penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam bentuk teks. Penelitian kuantitatif digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah tindak tutur yang digunakan oleh Shrek untuk menyimpulkan tindak tutur mana yang paling dominan dipakai. Ada 50 tutur kata yang dianalisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat tipe tindak tutur yang digunakan oleh Shrek: directives, representatives, expressives, dan commissives. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur yang paling dominan digunakan adalah directives. Tipe ini mencapai 44%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa Shrek menggunakan directives karena dia ingin membuat pendengarnya melakukan sesuatu. Selain itu, Shrek juga ingin diakui oleh orang-orang bahwa dia sebenarnya adalah raksasa yang baik. Kata kunci: directives, Shrek, tindak tutur, tipe-tipe tindak tutur.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe various data obtained regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of e-procurement in the procurement of goods and services that are run by LPSE Kendari. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis provides a description or explanation of the procurement of goods and services electronically (e-procurement), which is run by LPSE Kendari by using primary data in the form of data obtained directly from contractors, consultants, and working groups unit procurement services (POKJA ULP) using a questionnaire to obtain necessary information. In this case the perception of the parties directly involved with the implementation of e-procurement is needed to determine the extent to which opinions, ratings, views, or their attitude towards the implementation of e-procurement in LPSE Kendari and secondary data such as figures include the value of HPS, the value of contract is, and list of packages when the auction in October, November, and December of 2014. The results showed that the implementation of e-procurement in Kendari in October-December 2014 was run efficiently in terms of cost and time. This is demonstrated which can save costs in a budget area of Kendari and the procurement of goods / services can be completed before the deadline specified from the ULP. Besides e-procurement also increase the effectiveness with which the average value based on the Likert scale that is based on the responses of the contractor, consultants and WG ULP approved e-procurement to enhance transparency, accountability, and access to markets and competition with some input in each variable.

Abstract

Dalam teknik pengolahan citra digital (digital image procesing), proses magnifikasi merupakan suatuproses yang bertujuan untuk memperbesar ukuran citra. Magnifikasi citra sangat erat kaitannya denganukuran penyimpanan yang tinggi dan dalam media jamak merupakan subyek yang valueable dalampengolahan citra. Magnifikasi juga merupakan proses pembesaran sesuatu hanya dalam penampilan, tidakdalam ukuran fisik. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya, menggunakan teknik untuk memperbesar seluruhobyek dalam citra digital, tetapi diperlukan perbesaran pada obyek tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuanmengimplementasikan algoritma untuk memagnifikasi citra digital pada citra dunia nyata yang tidakmemerlukan sejumlah besar masukan dari pengguna. Sebuah citra dunia nyata yang realistis akan menjadicitra yang bebas dari artefak seperti kabur (blurring), berbayang (shadowing) dan jaggies. Citra harusmencakup kontur halus dan juga transisi tepi yang cepat. Proses magnifikasi citra dilakukan dengan duatahap, yaitu proses pertama adalah proses pencuplikan citra digital, proses pencuplikan ini dilakukansecara manual, yang kemudian dilakukan proses filterisasi dan diperbesar dengan metode interpolasisecara bilinear. Keluarannya berupa nilai rata-rata keluaran dari kedua proses tersebut. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan proses perbesaran citra diatas dua kali dengan metode gabungan menghasilkan nilai MeanSequare Error (MSE) lebih kecil dan nilai PSNR 73% lebih besar dibandingkan dengan metode nongabungan.

Abstract

المستخلص : هذا البحث عن تطبيق الطريقة السمعية الشفهية لترقية مهارة الكلام. في تعليم مهارة الكلام  اكثر الطلاب لم يستطيع ان يطبّق الفكره شفهيا، وحفظ المفردات، وعبارة اللغة العربية، ولذلك يحتاج طريقة الموافقة لنجح تعليم اللغة. احد طريقة التعليم التي موفق لترقية مهارة الكلام هي طريقة السمعية الشفهية. طريقة السمعية الشفهية هي تقديم تدريس اللغة الأجنبية من خلال تدريب الإستماع ثم تدريب تعبير الألفاظ ثم كلمة اللغة الأجنبية.البحث يستخدم بحث الكيفي ونوعه المنهج الوصفي التحليلى لكشف تطبيق الطريقة السمعية الشفهية لترقية مهارة الكلام في قدرة التعبير والمحادثة. وجمع البيانات يستخدم الباحث ملاحظة والمقابلة والوثائقية.والحاصل من المبحث انّ طريقة السمعية الشفهية لترقية مهارة الكلام يستطيع ان يطبّق بقدرتين يعني قدرة التعبير وقدرة المحادثة. قدرة التعبير يعلّم الطلاب ان يعبّر الألفاظ اللغة العربية بالصحيحة، وقدرة المحادثة يعلّم الطلاب ان يطبّق مهارة الكلام من خلال المحادثة اليومية.

Abstract

مستخلص البحث:إن اللغة وسيلة للتعبير عما يدور في خاطر الإنسان من أفكار وما في وجدانه من مشاعير وأحاسيس وخلجات النفسية، ومن المعروف أن اللغة تتمثل في فنون أربعة هي الاستماع والكلام والقراءة والكتابة، ولا شك أن الكلام من أهم ألوان النشاط اللغوي. وإن مدرسة نور اليقين الثناوية تعلم فيه الطلبة مهارة الكلام، لكن الواقع أكثر الطلبة لا يقدرون على التكلم بالعربية صحيحا، حيث أن يقع الطالب فى الأخطاء الشفوية والتداخل اللغوي. وقد حاولت المدرسة حل هذه المشكلات بعدة المحاولات منها التدريب لمدرس اللغة العربية الحاضرات العلمية العربية في عدة مكان.الكلمات الأساسية : المشكلات التعلمية، مهارة الكلام
