Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) within the Medan City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) and its impact on operational efficiency and public service effectiveness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with interns placed in the Bapemperda section. The findings indicate that the information system has assisted in the execution of administrative tasks; however, the effectiveness of its implementation is still influenced by human resource factors, particularly in terms of task placement that aligns with individual competencies. A lack of understanding in certain work areas leads to ineffectiveness in task execution. This study recommends the need for improved communication between educational institutions, interns, and government agencies to ensure appropriate placement of interns. Additionally, enhancing capacity and training related to the use of information systems is also crucial to support efficiency and effectiveness in government performance.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine how sustainable human resource management (HRM) practices are implemented at the et Cetera fashion boutique located in Medan Centre Point Mall, and to what extent these practices influence work-life balance and employee well-being. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and review of internal company documents. The study's findings reveal that, although working hours are generally within normal limits, increased workloads during certain periods and the lack of flexibility and compensation present challenges in achieving work-life balance. Moreover, although social relationships among employees are positive, the reward system and training programs are not yet systematically managed. Based on these findings, it is recommended that et Cetera develop more comprehensive and sustainable HRM policies, including flexible working arrangements, fair incentive systems, and support for employees' physical and psychological well-being. These measures are expected to improve employee loyalty and productivity while enhancing business resilience in the face of industry dynamics.

Abstract

Management Information Systems (SIMs) are a very important tool in helping managers make decisions. The information provided by the driver's license is accurate, fast, and easy to understand. In the world of work, managers are often faced with a variety of problems that require immediate solutions. This study aims to explain how driver's licenses help managers in making decisions. The methods used are literature studies and descriptive approaches. The results show that SIM not only speeds up the decision-making process, but also assists managers in analyzing problems, determining the best options, and minimizing errors. SIM also plays an important role in presenting data that supports organizational planning and strategy. With a driver's license, managers can work more efficiently, organized, and productively.
