Abstract

The main goal of the company is to increase the value of the company in the long term. Firm value is interpreted as an investor's view of the company's level of success in managing company resources. This research was conducted to analyze the effect of profitability, free cash flow and firm size on firm value with debt policy as an intervening variable. The p opulation in this study is the transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using purpove sampling. The samples used in this study were 17 companies. The method for examining the influence between variables is to test panel data regression analysis and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that profitability and debt policy have an effect on firm value, because the greater the profitability and debt policy values, the greater the firm value, while free cash flow and firm size have no effect on firm value. Profitability has an effect on debt policy, because the higher the profitability, the lower the debt policy, while free cash flow and size have no effect on debt policy. The intervening variable of debt policy cannot mediate the influence between profitability on debt policy. Companies in the transportation and logistics sector need to increase free cash flow and optimize the number of assets so that they can attract investors' attention regarding investment decisions that can indicate an increase in company value.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the largest archipelagic country, has abundant maritime economic potential. The capture fisheries sector plays a vital role in the national economy, especially in export and import activities. This study aims to analyze the influence of production volume and exchange rates on the export volume of major marine capture fisheries commodities. This research employs a quantitative causal approach using secondary data from the period of 2014-2023 (on a quarterly basis). The statistical technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that production volume and exchange rates have a significant simultaneous effect on the export volume of major marine capture fisheries commodities. Partially, the exchange rate significantly affects export volume, while production volume does not have a significant effect on export volume. This indicates that an increase in production volume is not the main driver of rising export volume. On the other hand, an increase in exchange rates makes prices more competitive in international trade, leading to an increase in export volume..

Abstract

The stock price conditions from 2018-2023 have always experienced fluctuations and crashed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has made investors cautious when investing in stocks to avoid the risk of a stock price crash. This study aims to determine the effect of Trading Volume Activity and Debt Maturity Structure on Stock Price Crash Risk in transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018-2023. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, and a sample of 10 companies that meet the criteria from 37 companies was obtained. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.finance.yahoo.com. The analysis technique used in this study is Panel Data Regression. The results show that Trading Volume Activity does not affect Stock Price Crash Risk. And Debt Maturity Structure have a positive effect on Stock Price Crash Risk.

Abstract

The decline in the number of passengers and the volume of goods being loaded and unloaded using sea transport has resulted in a decrease in the revenue of companies in the sea freight transport subsector in Indonesia. From 2016-2022, 68% of companies in the sea transportation subsector in Indonesia had negative profits. The negative profit indicates that the company is experiencing financial difficulties that result in financial distress (FD). This study aims to see the FD condition and compare whether liquidity ratio affect financial distress conditions in the sea transportation sub sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2016-2022. The sample was determined using the purposive sampling technique with simple linear regression as the analysis test. The study result showed that 17,5% of companies in Indonesia experienced FD and liquidity did not affect the FD of companies in Indonesia period 2016-2022 because liquidity represented by current ratio, only measures the company’s short-term capabilities.

Abstract

East Java Province has abundant potential in the fisheries sector, both production factors and geographical conditions of the sea. The production factor of capture fisheries in East Java in 2017-2022 tends to increase but contributes little to the GRDP of East Java. The variables used in this study are the number of fishermen and GRDP of districts/cities in East Java. The study aims to analyze the effect of the number of fishermen on GRDP in East Java and analyze the differences in each subsector. The research used a saturated sample technique, with panel data regression as the analysis test. The study is divided into two models, namely model I (marine fisheries) and model II (inland public waters). The results showed that in both models the number of fishermen had a significant positive effect on GRDP. This is because the increasing number of fishermen will increase the catch of fish and the income earned. The increased income will contribute to the economic growth of a region or what is referred to as GRDP. Marine fishermen tend to have more numbers than inland public water fishermen because a larger area will require more labor.

Abstract

The contribution of the fisheries economy in Indonesia was very minimal to the national economy and does not align with the increase of fisheries exporst in Indonesia. This research aimed to analyze the influences of the gross regional domestic product (GRDP), and the value of fisheries production to the value of fisheries export in Indonesia in 2016-2022 also moderated by foreign direct investment (FDI) in the fisheries sector. This research was causal quantitative research using secondary data from the Ministry of Fishery and Ocean, Ministry of Trade, and Badan Pusat Statistik. The result of the study showed that partially, the variables of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) and fisheries production value have a positive effect on the value of fisheries exports, and foreign investment has a negative effect on the value of fisheries exports,. Foreign investment can negatively moderate the relationship between the value of fisheries production and the value of fisheries exports, but foreign investment is not able to moderate the relationship between GRDP to the value of fisheries exports. Policy, program, and action that focus on producer and production had to be a priority.

Abstract

Maritime service companies have a high risk of accidents due to the workplace environment at sea. To create a safe work environment, the company can implement a safety culture, which is assumed to be supported by workers' self-awareness to improve the company's Safety Performance. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Safety Culture on Safety Performance with moderation of Self Awareness. This study used purposive sampling with a sample size of one hundred and four organic employees who worked for at least one year at the company. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Validity and reliability tests were carried out to test the instrument. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis methods and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using SPSS version 22. The results showed that safety culture positively and significantly affects safety performance. Self-awareness does not have a positive and significant effect on safety performance and cannot moderate the effect of safety culture on safety performance on safety performance. This means that the better the implementation of the Safety Culture, the risk of work accidents in the company will decrease, so the company's Safety Performance will also increase.

Abstract

PT. Srikaya Putra Mas (SPM) merupakan salah satu perusahaan konstruksi dan fabrikasi di Indonesia yang memproduksi berbagai macam kebutuhan perusahaan industri lain dengan spesialisasi Mechanical dan Electrical Engineering. Dalam perhitungan harga pokok produksi, perusahaan ini hanya mempertimbangkan harga bahan baku material dan jasa. Hal ini masih kurang tepat dan belum terperinci. Perhitungan harga pokok produksi sangat mempengaruhi besarnya harga jual dan laba yang diperoleh oleh perusahaan. Perhitungan harga pokok produksi akan lebih akurat apabila menggunakan metode Activity Based Costing (ABC) System. Activity Based Costing (ABC) System merupakan metode penentuan harga pokok yang menelusuri biaya keseluruh aktivitas dan pembebanan biaya overhead pada masing-masing produk. Pada metode yang digunakan perusahaan, biaya overhead pada masing-masing produk hanya dibebankan pada satu cost driver saja yaitu jumlah unit produksi. Pada Activity Based Costing (ABC) System, biaya overhead pada masing-masing produk dibebankan pada beberapa cost driver sehingga Activity Based Costing System mampu mengalokasikan biaya aktivitas ke setiap produk secara tepat berdasar konsumsi masing-masing aktivitas. Perhitungan harga pokok produksi dan harga jual menggunakan metode Activity Based Costing (ABC) System diharapkan mampu memperoleh hasil yang lebih akurat dan mengetahui apakah terjadi pembebanan biaya produk terlalu rendah (undercosted) atau atau pembebanan biaya terlau tinggi (overcosted).

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas teknologi Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) dalam meningkatkan efisiensi bahan bakar dan produktivitas nelayan tradisional di komunitas Mina Jaya. Metode: Perencanaan, pelatihan, implementasi lapangan, dan evaluasi. Hasil: Adanya penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar hingga 75% dan peningkatan hasil tangkapan ikan sebesar 10-20%. Selain manfaat ekonomi, IVA juga berkontribusi pada pengurangan emisi karbon, yang mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan laut. Kesimpulan: Evaluasi dari umpan balik nelayan menunjukkan teknologi ini diterima dengan baik dan memiliki potensi untuk diadopsi secara luas di komunitas nelayan lainnya. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan teknologi tepat guna yang berkelanjutan bagi sektor perikanan tradisional di Indonesia.

Abstract

Suatu perusahaan harus memiliki daya saing tinggi untuk bisa bertahan di suatu industri, kunci untuk menambah nilai daya saing perusahaan dengan melalui peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh karyawan. Permasalahan di perusahaan ini yaitu belum memiliki penilaian kinerja karyawan khususnya pada divisi HCM, kurang terstrukturnya administrasi, dan kurang terintegrasinya sistem presensi karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang pengukuran kinerja divisi HCM pada Grup Perusahaan Maritim di Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Human Resources Scorecard dengan melibatkan dua perspektif yaitu perspektif keuangan dan perspektif pelanggan, pengukuran pembobotan setiap perspektif menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process, pengukuran target dan realisasi kinerja perusahaan menggunakan Traffic Light System, serta rekomendasi perbaikan menggunakan usulan inisiatif strategis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan mengacu pada dua perspektif HRSC, terdapat lima ukuran kinerja yang dapat diterapkan perusahaan sebagai standar penilaian kinerja karyawan pada divisi HCM. Secara keseluruhan skor perspektif keuangan adalah 66,93 dan skor perspektif pelanggan adalah 11,98. Perspektif keuangan berkategori warna hijau, artinya kinerja telah mencapai target dan perspektif pelanggan berkategori warna kuning, artinya kinerja belum mencapai target. Perusahaan dapat menerapkan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa kebijakan dan inisiatif strategis untuk memperbaiki target kinerja yang belum tercapai.
