Abstract

HIV infection continues to be a significant public health problem worldwide, including Indonesia, with impacts spanning social, economic, and cultural aspects. People living with HIV (PLHIV) are faced with various pressures and are in dire need of coping strategies. This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and spiritual well-being with the use of coping strategies in PLHIV. This study is an analytic study with a cross sectional approach. A sample of 39 ODHIV was selected using purposive sampling method. Data were collected by filling out the GSES questionnaire to assess self-efficacy, the SWBS questionnaire to measure spiritual well-being, and the BRIEF RCOPE questionnaire to determine coping strategies. Logistic regression multinomial inferencial test found no association between self-efficacy and spiritual well-being with the use of coping strategies. Most were male (76.9%), high school education level (64.1%), and married (59%). Descriptive analysis obtained respondents who used problem-oriented coping strategies (28.2%); emotion-oriented (38.5%); and religious-oriented (33.3%). Multinomial logistic regression test showed no significant association between self-efficacy and the use of coping strategies and no association between spiritual well-being and coping strategies (p-value > 0.05). Spiritual aspects are important to consider as they can be a source of coping and motivation to help patients cope with sudden illness and reduce the level of pain due to the perceived condition so as to quickly move towards healing. Nurses need to apply nursing care using coping instruments, comprehensively from the assessment process to the evaluation process.

Abstract

This research is rooted in the phenomenon of the Barbie movie trend in 2023, which embraced feminist themes or aspects related to women such as beauty standards. The Barbie icon has long been ingrained as a representation of an idealized woman. The objective of this study is to understand the influence of Barbie movies on the perception of physical beauty standards among teenagers in West Jakarta. This is a quantitative associative study conducted through a survey method. The sampling method employed purposive selection using questionnaires distributed among the teenage population in West Jakarta. 100 respondents were selected and analyzed using statistical software SPSS version 26. The researcher employed various tests for this study, including instrument testing, validity testing, reliability testing, normal distribution testing, and further data analysis using simple linear regression tests, explaining the R-squared and t-tests. The results of this study show that Barbie movies have a positive and significant impact on the perception of physical beauty standards among teenagers in West Jakarta. The conclusion drawn from this research is that Barbie movies influence the perception of physical beauty standards through narrative elements, film concepts, film purposes, and cinematic elements such as cinematography, mise en scène, editing, and sound. Penelitian ini berlatar belakang dengan adanya fenomena Film barbie yang trending pada tahun 2023 yang mengusung tema feminisme atau hal mengenai perempuan seperti standar kecantikan, ikon barbie merupakan ikon yang melekat dari dulu untuk menggambarkan perempuan yang lebih ideal. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan agar peneliti dan para pembaca dapat mengetahui pengaruh Film barbie terhadap bagaimana persepsi standar kecantikan fisik pada remaja di Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif Asosiatif dengan metode survei. Metode pengambilan sample secara purposive menggunakan alat kuesioner kepada populasi remaja di Jakarta Barat. 100 responden dipilih dan dianalisis menggunakan software statistik SPSS seri 26. Uji yang digunakan peneliti untuk penelitian ini terdiri dari uji instrumen, lalu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas , uji distribusi normal , dan dilanjutkan analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dengan penjelasan uji r square dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa Film barbie berpengaruh positif dan juga signifikan terhadap persepsi standar kecantikan fisik remaja di Jakarta Barat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Film barbie mempengaruhi persepsi standar kecantikan fisik lewat unsur naratif ide cerita, konsep film, tujuan film dan unsur sinematik film cinematography, mis en scene, editing, dan suara.

Abstract

Social media emerged to be one of the business platforms nowadays, at first social media was introduced to connect people from around the world, the rising of technology and knowledge made people discover many methods and ways to conduct business, social media become one of the platforms to conduct business. The efficient of social media as business platform can be identify by many users, the minimum requirement of capital expense, the minimum effort of direct shipping, and social media business doesn’t require the shop owner to own a physical store, this advantage has made possibilities for countless people to conduct business even for those who have little to no capital resources. Nowadays the competition of business has become more and more by the day, one of many ways to survive the chance of bankrupt is to adapt. Small business especially MSMEs is often found in the village also in the city, therefore its is important to harness the potential of this aisle-based business for chance of improving household financial condition. The purpose of this study is to introduce and train locals to use social media as marketing platform and adapt to the business competition nowadays and ensure economic productivity.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of bank health indicators, external factors and profit growth on stock returns. Bank health indicators are reviewed based on risk profile, earnings and capital. Risk profile is measured using the non-performing loan (NPL) proxy, earnings are measured using the return on assets (ROA) and net interest margin (NIM) proxies, capital is measured using the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) proxy. The external factor in this research is inflation. measured by changes in inflation each year, the BI Rate and profit growth are measured by proxies for changes in profits each year. The object of this research is banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2020 period. The sample selection technique is the purposive sampling method, research data is secondary data obtained from annual reports and financial reports of banking companies. which has been published on the IDX website (www.idx.co.id) and the company website during the 2016 - 2020 period. The research results show that macroeconomic factors, namely interest rates, have no effect on company value, while inflation has a positive effect on company value. Microeconomic factors, namely sales growth, company size and capital structure have no effect on company value.
