Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped the learning paradigm of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), shifting from conventional classrooms to flexible and open virtual spaces. However, the PAI curriculum still faces challenges, such as educators' low digital literacy and the lack of systematic integration of religious moderation values. This study aims to explore curriculum development strategies for PAI that are responsive to the digital era while internalizing Islamic moderation (wasathiyah) values. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were collected from recent academic literature and curriculum policy documents. The findings indicate that PAI curriculum development requires an integrative strategy: (1) updating curriculum content to address current digital issues, (2) strengthening technology-based pedagogy, and (3) internalizing moderation values through reflective and collaborative learning activities. Through this approach, the PAI curriculum serves not only as a vehicle for transmitting Islamic values but also as a strategic instrument for shaping digitally literate, moderate, and socially adaptive Muslim generations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of the YouTube platform as a learning medium in instilling worship procedures to students in Islamic boarding schools. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study was conducted on male and female students at the Al-Uswah Kuala Islamic Boarding School, Langkat Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that YouTube is able to be an effective visualization media in bridging the theory and practice of worship, especially for students with visual and kinesthetic learning styles. The main advantages of YouTube lie in the flexibility of learning time, accessibility of materials, and the ability to repeat videos that support personalization of learning. In addition, this media increases the motivation and involvement of students in the learning process, and encourages the implementation of a blended learning model that combines traditional Islamic boarding school methods with digital technology. However, there are challenges such as limited infrastructure, digital literacy, and the risk of content that is not in accordance with Islamic values. The proposed solutions include content curation, digital literacy development, and development of Islamic boarding school media facilities. Overall, YouTube has been proven to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of students' understanding and practice of worship contextually and adaptively to the development of the times.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah berdirinya Kerajaan Safawi, dan untuk mengetahui kondisi Kerajaan Safawi serta peradaban Islam di Persia yang telah dibangun masa pemerintahan Kerajaan Safawi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan mengumpulkan data-data yang relevan. Upaya yang telah dilakukan Kerajaan Shafawi dalam membangun peradaban Islam di Persia. Munculnya dinasti Safawi di Persia yang didirikan oleh Safi al-Din (1252-1334) memberikan perubahan besar terhadap kemerosotan peradaban Islam pada saat itu. Dinasti Safawi muncul pada abad pertengahan, awalnya dinasti ini berasal dari sebuah gerakan tarekat yang berdiri di Ardabila, tarekat ini terus dipertahankan sampai tarekat ini menjadi gerakan politik, bahkan nama Safawi ini tetap dilestarikan sampai menjadi sebuah dinasti. Dinasti safawi memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan sejarah peradaban dan kebudayaan Islam, tercatat terdapat sebelas khalifah yang menduduki tahta kekhalifahan, masing-masing dari mereka memiliki perannya masing-masing dalam penyebaran peradaban Islam, namun dari banyaknya khalifah yang menduduki kekhilafahannya, dinasti safawi juga mengalami beberapa konflik internal dan eksternal yang mengakibatkan kemunduran dan kehancuran dinasti Safawi di Persia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Wahdatul Ulum”. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana fondasi, prinsip-prinsup, serta implementasi paradigma Wahdatul Ulum. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apa pengertian dan fondasi paradigma wahdatul ulum? (2) Apa saja prinsip-prinsip wahdatul ulum? (3) Bagaimana implementasi paradigma wahdatul ulum dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan?. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research (penelitian Pustaka). Sumber data utama meliputi buku-buku, serta karya-karya ilmiah terkait Wahdatul Ulum. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan analisis mendalam terhadap Wahdatul Ulum dengan buku-buku yang berkaitan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze legal issues that arise as a result of the act of viewing a cellphone that is being used by another person without permission, seen from the perspective of Islamic law. In this digital era, the use of communication devices, such as cellphones, is increasing, and unconscious privacy violations often occur, one of which is accessing other people's personal information without permission. In this study, the author examines the basic principles of Islamic law relating to privacy, individual rights, and limits in social interaction, especially those relating to the protection of one's honor and privacy. The approach used in this research is normative analysis by referring to Islamic legal texts, both those originating from the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, and fiqh rules. The research results show that the act of looking at another person's cellphone without permission can be seen as a violation of a person's right to privacy, which in Islamic law is included in the category of impermissible actions, because it can damage an individual's honor and dignity. Apart from that, Islamic law also emphasizes the importance of etiquette and mutual respect for each other, so these actions should be avoided to maintain social harmony. Thus, this research provides an understanding of how Islamic law views and regulates privacy and the boundaries of interacting with other people in a modern context.

Abstract

Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) merupakan dokumen akademik strategis yang berperan penting dalam menjamin mutu pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Dalam paradigma Outcome-Based Education (OBE), RPS dituntut untuk berorientasi pada capaian pembelajaran yang terukur serta menunjukkan keselarasan antara capaian pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, dan asesmen (constructive alignment). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan dosen mata kuliah Fikih dalam menyusun RPS berbasis OBE. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi dokumen melalui analisis isi terhadap tiga dokumen RPS mata kuliah Fikih. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dengan instrumen lembar analisis RPS berbasis OBE yang mengacu pada standar SN-Dikti dan prinsip constructive alignment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun RPS berbasis OBE berada pada kategori baik menuju sangat baik. Sebagian besar RPS telah memuat CPMK secara sistematis dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran inovatif seperti project-based learning dan case method. Namun demikian, masih ditemukan beberapa kelemahan, antara lain penggunaan kata kerja operasional yang belum konsisten pada level kognitif tinggi, ketidaksesuaian antara metode pembelajaran dan teknik penilaian, ketiadaan rubrik penilaian yang lengkap, serta penggunaan referensi yang belum mutakhir. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan kompetensi dosen, khususnya dalam penyusunan rubrik asesmen dan pemetaan CPL–CPMK–Sub-CPMK secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan rujukan dalam pengembangan RPS berbasis OBE pada mata kuliah keagamaan di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan komponen esensial dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) karena tidak hanya menilai aspek kognitif, tetapi juga sikap dan keterampilan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran pada ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan di SMP Negeri 9 Medan, serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Islam yang mengajar di SMP Negeri 9 Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI telah menggunakan berbagai instrumen evaluasi, seperti tes tertulis dan lisan untuk ranah kognitif, observasi dan jurnal sikap untuk ranah afektif, serta penilaian kinerja dan rubrik praktik ibadah untuk ranah psikomotorik. Namun demikian, implementasi evaluasi pembelajaran masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan merumuskan instrumen yang objektif untuk menilai sikap dan keterampilan, serta terbatasnya pelatihan teknis bagi guru. Upaya yang dilakukan guru meliputi kolaborasi melalui Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), pemanfaatan teknologi digital sederhana, serta pengembangan instrumen secara bertahap sesuai konteks pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi evaluasi guru PAI telah mengarah pada penilaian autentik dan komprehensif, meskipun masih memerlukan dukungan sistemik dari sekolah dan pemerintah.   Learning assessment is an essential component of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) because it assesses not only cognitive aspects, but also the attitudes and skills of students. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by IRE teachers in developing learning assessment instruments in the areas of attitude, knowledge, and skills at SMP Negeri 9 Medan, as well as to identify the obstacles and solutions applied. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were Islamic Religious Education teachers who taught at SMP Negeri 9 Medan. The results showed that PAI teachers had used various evaluation instruments, such as written and oral tests for the cognitive domain, observation and attitude journals for the affective domain, and performance assessments and worship practice rubrics for the psychomotor domain. However, the implementation of learning evaluation still faces obstacles in the form of time constraints, difficulties in formulating objective instruments to assess attitudes and skills, and limited technical training for teachers. Efforts made by teachers include collaboration through Subject Teacher Working Groups (MGMP), the use of simple digital technology, and the gradual development of instruments in accordance with the learning context. This study concludes that PAI teachers' evaluation strategies have led to authentic and comprehensive assessments, although there are still.
